Chapter 19: Reactions
[ Wonder Woman POV]
There I was, taking a stroll as Diana Prince, just an ordinary resident of Washington D.C, enjoying some ice cream. "It truly is the food of the gods" I thought out loud.
I was just thinking of getting another, when suddenly a massive swarm of monsters appeared in the distance. I was just about to fly in to investigate the cause when suddenly a voice came from the communicator «Batman to Justice league. This is code alpha. The earth is under attack. I repeat. The earth is under attack. The watchtower has been compromised. Everyone must assemble at Metropolis square.»
"Knowing Batman, in situations like this he wouldn't call us to Metropolis and tell us to hold our ground. Unless the main conflict was in Metropolis. I should head there fast. I'm sorry I can't help here.' I thought as she flew straight through the air towards Metropolis.

[Flash POV]
There I was, being a superhero, you know the usual. Stop a few robberies, make the robbers question their life choices, save the damsel and distress, have a little chat with her. Y'know the usual. When suddenly a seemingly hundreds of these weird flying Xenomorph wannabes appear and begin terrorising the good people of central city. Well after I deal with about a hundred of them a message appears.
My communicator rings and an all too familiar voice says«Batman to Justice league. This is code alpha. The earth is under attack. I repeat. The earth is under attack. The watchtower has been compromised. Everyone must assemble at Metropolis square»
"Ok so the main party must be in Metropolis then." As this comes to my knowledge, I rush killing every single parademon in Central city in two minutes and then rushing to Metropolis.

[Green lantern]
There I was, flying through Coast city, when suddenly I found myself surrounded by hundreds of parademons.
'Not good' I thought. I had read records of these creatures. I knew the only place those creatures could have come from.
'If this means what i think it means, we're in trouble, big trouble.' I knew I had to contact Oa.
I spoke into my ring, "This is Hal Jordan from sector 2814. I have a report. There are sightings of forces from apokolips requesting immediate back-up."
As I made this report my communicator started to speak «Batman to Justice league. This is code alpha. The earth is under attack. I repeat. The earth is under attack. The watchtower has been compromised. Everyone must assemble at Metropolis square.»
'So Metropolis is where the main attack is centred huh' I deduced
My ring then receives a message, " This is Guardian Gurion. Hal Jordan we have decided that Earth is not worth initiating a war with Apokolips. Thus the green lantern will not send reinforcements. We further order you to re-" I cut off the transmission.
"Well, guess I'm going in alone." I say as I fly off.

This is the beginning. This is also the end.
The end of an era. An era of peace. Peace for a small blue planet on a remote galaxy in a remote sector, many would call unassuming. From now on this world would be hit with calamity after calamity, disaster after disaster. Entities that have brought an end to civilizations multiple times more advanced. Yet somehow this little planet will survive. Beings that have brought peoples far more powerful to heel shall attempt a conquest of its lands. And yet, the people shall endure.
It is the beginning. The beginning of an era. An era that only lasts a mere moment in reality's great clock. One that has been ticking for millennia and will tick for aeons longer. An era that shall become a legacy of a particular group of people. Humans, martians, kryptonians and more shall create their legacy as this group.
It is the beginning of relationships, friendships, and alliances. Whichever definition may fit the scenario best. This is the first contact between the future heroes and the future legends. The first contact that will lead to an alliance. An alliance whose effects will ripple through reality itself breaking the loom of time changing the story time set out to tell.
And ironically this is how it all begins. A first contact. A first contact between a child posing to be a man and an alien soul posing to be a native. The magnitude of change this interaction would bring, is unknown to the two and was even to me at the time. But nevertheless allow me to narrate.
I would be proud to narrate the story of the Era of beginnings and ends. To recite the legends of this era to you my dear companions. It all began with a meeting, a meeting between…

[Shazam POV]
There I was, on a field trip to Metropolis with my high-school, when suddenly a massive horde of monsters straight out of a sci-fi movie attacked. I instantly knew I had to do something.
"SHAZAM!!" I scream and instantly a bolt of lightning hits me, turning me into a 6ft 4in tall, jacked as hell, demi-god.
I flew through the skies ripping apart any of those monsters I saw but to little effect as the pesky buggers just kept coming. I scream out "SHAZAM!" And a lightning bolt rips through the skies. But before the lightning reaches me, I throw a creature into it, reducing it to dust.
'I need to find someone who knows what is going on. Someone who knows how to end this.' I think as I battle more of the horde of monsters.
"This is not daijoubu!" I exclaimed as I ripped one in half only to have another one climb on top of me. God I hate being so large sometimes.
As I'm struggling to get this monster off me, it suddenly gets split in eight pieces. As try to understand what happened I hear a voice.
" My my, if it isn't the great Shazam. Pleasure to meet you. My name is…"
