With a startled gasp, I rear up, alert despite it being just past two in the morning.

I leap off the bed and out of the room, hurrying towards Lucas's room.

Ramming my gist on it, I shout, "Wake up, Lucas?! Wake up, we have got a problem!"

A few more raps and the door swings open.

"You know, this is becoming a habit, " he mutters as he rubs the sleep from his eyes and yawns. "A terrible habit. Which mountain is on fire?"

He is dressed in just boxer briefs, that looks like he just put it on.

"Fredja," I state.

Instantly, he comes alert, blue eyes trained on me and intensely focused.

"What about Fredja? What happens to her? Is she alright? I swea-"

"We think the council is with Void," I tell him.

"The council. The high council? The one she has been with all this while? How, why? Wait, who is we?"

"Me and Natalie."

"Natalie? The Luna is back?"
