Chapter 99: Chapter 99: The Mage's Boy

The princess stared at Silva, who lay in the small bed which Aletta had sewed for her, playing with her small toy Celestiel had gotten her.

She was happy, quite obviously. Her yapping didn't cease as she attacked the rubber ball viciously with her teeth, finding fun in the way the hard rubber did not break but instead, found a way to weasle out of her mouth.

Celestial watched her from where she sat at the dresser, gently brushing her hair, her golden eyes never leaving the small form of the pet.

She was sure she hadn't imagined it. She was sure she hadn't heard it wrong. She had heard Silva speak. It had been a squeaky, feminine voice, one that a child would have, but more high pitched.

And Celestiel would have been tempted to imagine it was her imagination but considering the events of the passed couple of days, she could not rule out the possibility of Silva being able to speak.

If anything in fact, it would make perfect sense.
