Setsuna's concerns extended to the protection of Senju members, as he observed that without someone as formidable as Tsunade, many might have met tragic fates. Reflecting on his newfound knowledge, Setsuna acknowledged that before transmigrating, he was unaware of the Uzumaki clan's location. Initially, Senju Tobirama had considered Kagami as a potential disciple, recognizing his uniqueness among the Uchiha. However, Tobirama was taken aback upon learning that Setsuna had already secured Kagami as his apprentice. Tobirama searched for another Uchiha with similar qualities but found none suitable.
The Uchiha clan, filled with innocent children, bore the weight of their tragic circumstances. The absence of hatred in those whose parents and siblings still lived distinguished them. Kagami, at the age of nine, became an unexpected disciple for Setsuna, a move that caught Tobirama off guard. While Tobirama had planned to indoctrinate Kagami with his philosophy and the Will of Fire, Setsuna's preemptive action left Tobirama to bide his time before selecting another Uchiha disciple in the future.

He believed that witnessing the brutal injuries suffered by ninjas could potentially awaken the Sharingan, and perhaps even a Sharingan focused on healing.
Setsuna envisioned that Uchiha, exposed to the harsh realities of the shinobi world and engaged in political matters, might awaken a Mangekyou Sharingan capable of acting as a healing force. This innovative idea hinted at a potential evolution of the Sharingan, extending its capabilities beyond combat prowess into the realm of medical ninjutsu. Setsuna's foresight and determination to improve the Uchiha clan's capabilities showcased his commitment to the growth and prosperity of Konoha.
