Chapter 2: Welcome home.
On the plane ride to the states after we got changed, Tony kept telling me about his people and that they won't harm me in anyway.
I'm guessing this is due to the scared of people act I put on when we first meet.
As the ramp opened and we started to walk onto the pavement there were EMT's coming our way, but Tony told them to leave.
We walked up to a redhead and a guy who looks to serious.
Tony looked into the redheads eyes. " Your eyes are red, a few tears for your long-lost boss."
"Tears of joy, I hate job hunting."
I was slightly hiding behind Tony so Pepper had to look around him to see me.
" And who might this be?"
" Not what you think… I'll tell you in the car."
I looked up. "I'm going with you? I thought now that we are back I would go my own way."
"Not a chance. You're coming with me. let's go"
We looked over to Yinsen. "I'll be taking my leave now, I quite enjoyed my time with you guys."
Tony shook his hand. " don't be a stranger drop by anytime you'd like, And keep in touch."
He nodded his head. "Mr. Stark, Miss Rimuru."
After the door shut with all three of us inside the car the driver asked where to.
Pepper beat Tony. "To the hospital."
"No!"
"Yes, you need to go to the hospital."
"I'm pretty sure No, is a complete answer.
There are two things I want to do. I want an American cheeseburger, and the other."
"Tony! Watch yourself." she looked at me to indicate I'm there.
"…It's not what you think. I want you to call for press conference now. I'll explain about her along the way."
"Press conference why?"
"Hogan drive, cheeseburger first."
Along the way Tony explained what he knew about me and my situation, after Pepper made it her mission to make me feel comfortable around her and I already knew about her from the movies but actually getting to know both of them is like being in a dream.
As we pulled up to the conference center there was a huge crowd waiting on Tony.
As we stopped a old bald man opened the door for Tony.
"HEY! looks at him."he got close. "I was going to meet you at the hospital what happened?"
" it's because I'm fine"
I stepped out and due to my blue hair I immediately caught his eyes.
" who is she?"
" someone I'll tell you about later. let's go inside." We walked into the building and into the room full of reporters. Tony looked at me.
"Stay with Pepper."
She gently placed a hand on my shoulder. "We'll go this way."
I stood there looking completely uncomfortable and I wasn't faking it this time. I had to do speeches in my village yes, but they were goblins not hungry reporters with cameras.
As Tony was walking into the stage someone came up to speak to Pepper.
" Miss Potts?"
"Yes?"
" can I speak to you for a second?"
The he noticed me.
" And her."
" we aren't part of the conferences but it's about to begin."
When I heard, "and her." I actually started to pay attention and noticed the voice, so I looked over and noticed it was one
Mr. Phil Coulson.
(out of curiosity, please analyze Him.)
(scan complete; Completely normal human.)
(Never hurts to look, I know there's Skrulls around.)
" i'm not a reporter."
You definitely aren't a reporter.
" I am agent, Phil Coulson with the strategic Homeland intervention enforcement And logistic division."
" that's quite a mouthful." Pepper said as she took the business card.
" I know. we're working on it."
" you know we've been approached already by the DOD, the FBI and the CIA…"
" we're a separate division. with a more specific focus. we need to debrief Mr. Stark about the circumstances around his escape."
" I'll put something in the books. shall I?"
"Thank you."
I was standing there and I just had to. I have to get them to change the name. It's just way too long.
I tapped his shoulder. " How about you use abbreviation like S.H.I.E.L.D?"
"Not bad, I'll pitch the idea."
Pepper pointed to the front. "It's starting."
The press conference went on just like in the movie Tony started talking. He sat down at everyone else. Sit down, talk about his father, and eventually told the world you were standing down the weapons division to start industry. And all hell broke loose after.
After Tony finally got away from the press, we made our way back to the car.
But before me and Pepper could enter Tony stopped us, and handed Pepper a credit card.
"Go take her shopping. she has no clothes have fun, there's no limit."
"No, I'm fine I don't need to go shopping."
Pepper had a smile on her face. " Nonsense. Every girl has to have clothes."
(I hate shopping, any ideas to get out of it?)
(Negative. Enjoy!)
(Why am I imagining you smirking.)

I lowered my head and followed her to another car.
It was horrible, for hours I was dragged from store to store buying I swear everything in sight.
I became her dress-up doll and I hated every second. I have about every type and style of clothing, and if I showed the slight interest in something I got every color in my size.
I'm not joking when I say I have truck loads of clothing being delivered to Starks house.
When we finally got to Yony's mansion I was beyond exhausted and ready just to pass out. but I was definitely surprised to see construction workers going in and out of the house I asked for, but I got no answer.
All I got was where my room was located and Jarvis's voice guided me.
I thought about trying to get the answer, but I was new here and I just wanted to sleep.
That is one good thing about this mixed body I can actually sleep I really did miss that in the other world.
I woke up the next morning to Jarvis telling me the weather, and what time it was.
I asked where Tony was, but all I got was " I am currently ordered not to tell you."
Good to know.
"Does this house have a library?"
"Yes. Mr. Stark keeps a well stock library of all the current scientific knowledge he possesses.."
"Great. could you ask him if I can have access?"
"one moment."
About a minute later."
"Mr. Stark has told me to allow you full access and guide you to the library."
This is weird I didn't expect to be allowed to actually go in there. but I'll never shoot a shot and not follow through.
I went into the library and I was quite amazed. It was filled with rows and rows of books, even notes filled with his finds and ideas.
I took a book off the shelf and immediately consumed it, and had Ceil analyze its Contents and store it in my self-made mental library.
Then I repeated the whole process on every book in the whole library.
It took me a couple hours, and surprisingly no one ever came to get me or stop me or anything.
Around noon Jarvis informed me that Tony would like for me to meet him down in his lab.
I made my way down and was a little confused. It wasn't how it was in my memory of the movie.
It did go down a glass door at the bottom of the stairway, but on the left Side it was covered in plastic.
As soon as I walk through the door. " I know this isn't my house, but what's with the plastic?"
" just a project I'm having done. come over here I need to talk to you."
I walked over to his desk and he slid it envelope over to me, I opened it to see something that took me by surprise. [Rimuru Stark.] I looked at him and back at the papers.
" I did some research Last night and the day you were kidnapped they must've wiped your existence, I couldn't find anything on you. so I was going to have to make you a new identity so I came up with a idea why not become my daughter?"
" why, though?"
" I've grown to like you in the months we've stay together and your brain fits perfectly with the family, so I figured it would benefit both of us. You don't have to go into the system and I get someone else stay with me in his house."
"You just want me for my smarts."
"No, well I wouldn't complain but I'm serious you said you're 15 at your age the likely chance of you getting into home is slime to none. this way you won't be adopted, to the whole world you would be my biological daughter who I just hid away from the world due to my fame."
"I might be young but I'm not dumb, why are you willing to do this?"
"Call it brash decision-making."
"Can I think on it?"
" sure I never expected you to make the decision right away. But while I have you down here, can you help me with something?"
He got up and went over to a medical chair and grabbed a arc reactor from the table and hand it to me.
"Hold this."
He took his shirt off and sat on the chair and since I had it in my hand I put my hand behind my back and had ceil analyze it.
" I need your help putting the new reactor in my chest, my hands are too big so I can't do it myself and your hands are tiny and you have a sharp mind so I feel safe with you doing it."
I looked at his chest. " I have analyzed what's gonna be in your chest and I'm not touching that. That discharge will be nasty."
"How to you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Analyze things?"
I looked at him closely trying to figure out how much to tell him.
"you know Jarvis, right?"
" of course I created him."
" OK, imagine a smarter advanced version of him in my head."
"You have an AI in your head?"
"Sorta, and I also have an ability that analyzes about anything and tells me almost anything about it. My "AI" is called Ceil and she's takes the information and feeds it back to me."
He was amazed until he had a frown on his face.
"why are you Telling me all of this? It seems it should be a secret?"
"It's my way of showing trust I guess. I have many more a lot that Ceil helps with but many more so don't be surprised."
"You kid, have made it were I don't think I could be anymore."
I laughed then got serious. " But seriously I'm not putting this in Your chest, have pepper do it or something." I sat it down on the table.
I pointed over by his desk. " if you don't mind, I'm gonna go sit down and watch."
"Sure" he pressed a button on a tablet. "Pepper how big are your hands?"
Once she walked In The first thing he asked was to see her hands and was happy with how petite they were.
He did a quick exclamation on why and what to do so she wouldn't leave.
Once she put her hand inside his chest and complained about the plamic discharge I couldn't help but laugh.
I laughed to myself even harder when she pulled out the magnet on the send and he started to go into cardiac arrest, that part wasn't the funny part what was funny was she was trying to Comfort him saying everything was going to be fine when she didn't know if would be herself.
I did get a little sad when he said he didn't have anyone but Pepper.
It made me think about what he said about having someone else in this big house.
(Do you think it would be a good idea?)
(Logically yes. You'd have money and resources and connections.)
(How about non-logically. you know me you read my brain waves my memories. Do you think it would be a good idea?)
(if I had to choose I go forward, Logically or not it's a good idea.)
I hummed. (my thoughts exactly.)
I had to think about it for a couple reasons, I mean I wanted to jump at the opportunity I loved him as a character in my last life but this isn't a movie anymore, people will be coming for him and if I stay next to him I'll also become the target.
I could easily hide myself in a corner of the world and just relax but that would be much of a life.
And if I stay in the states and not live here I'll have to go into the system and not have any resources or opportunities to really go anywhere.
When I really thought about it there's pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons in my mind.
After Pepper left I went up to Tony and stuck out my hand.
"What's this for?"
"I'll take your offer. I'll be your daughter, if you'd take me."
He laughed hand grabbed my hand.
"Then you can call me dad."
"Not going to happen. For now at least."
"I'll take it. Jarvis… is it done?"
"Yes Sir."
"Great! I think it's time I answer that question you asked me when you first came down."
"Really?"
"Yep."
He walked to the door. "If you step this way."
He pulled out a remote and hit a button and the plastic fell to the floor revealing a lab.
"I'll give you your code later but this will be yours, it has its own security door and about anything you can think of inside.
I walked inside and was truly speechless. I ran my hand over some keyboards and looked at Tony.
"You never planned on me denying you?"
"How could you, I'm undeniable."
"Funny."
"Well you can look around and play, Jarvis has been given permission to get you anything you ask, so you can start any project you want I don't care.
I'm going to go, I have to meet a friend I'll be back later."
"Ok? Have fun I guess."
Once Tony left Ceil suddenly got excited.
(Let me have control I want to build something after all those book we analyze I have a idea I want to test out.)
(Weird ok.)
Then my eyes turned red.
(Hey normally I can still see, what happened?)
(I'm doing this, what I'm making is going to be a surprise just relax and put your mind to sleep.)
