Chapter 6: chapter 6 Scattered
It was already night and he took them to a school, he had brought them here, a place that cultivate curses and he decided to spice things up a bit
"Whoever kills the most curses will receive something", he plainly said, then Mai asked,"What is it?"and Yujin replied smiling gently,"It's something."
"Tch. Fine keep it to yourself", Mai puffed and Yujin ruffled her hair and said,"You'll just have to kill many curses and find out what that something is."
And with that he took out many weapons and placed them on the ground,"Choose", and Mai jumped for the Glock 18 afraid Maki will take it.
Maki just deadpanned at her actions and took a double bladed naginata, she prefers these types of weapons, swinging them around and all that.
Once they took their respective weapons he placed the remaining ones in his inventory and casted a veil on top of the school, he didn't get out but remained inside.
....
(Scene change with Maki and Mai)
Entering the school door, right of the bat they saw curses
Maki, being her first time seeing a curse, recoils in disgust,"The hell is that", Mai shoots the curse and replies,"It's a curse Maki what did you expect them to look like, unicorns?"
"Of course not, but I didn't expect them to be this ugly", then she smirks and looks at Mai,"No wonder you always came crying to your ~onee-chan~."
Mai gave her a side eye and said under her breath,"Tch, I'm still one kill ahead of you."
Maki naturally heard her with her keen senses and just smiles.
Although Maki is faster than Mai, Mai has an advantage over Maki, she can sense cursed energy while Maki can't and although Maki can see curses with her glasses she can't sense them.
They saw curses coming in groups and before Maki could rush towards them Mai shot them and killed them,"4 more down that's 5 now, seems like you're to slow ~oneechan~."
And now it was Maki's turn to click her tongue, if things keep going like this she'll lose.
And with that she separated from Mai to look for curses.
Mai entered a classroom shot every curse she saw, whether they were behind the door, under the desk she killed them all.
Maki was doing the same but she was slower than Mai, she doesn't have the same efficiency as Mai have
After many minutes of killing curses they came back outside to Yujin.
And although they killed all the curses in the school, the curses will come back one by one because..... it's a school, which has negativity and whatnot.
.....
(Outside)
Maki and Mai stood infront of Yujin," And to no one's suprise, Mai won" said Yujin as he went to hug Mai,"There your reward."
"Huh!?. A hug? That's it", Mai asked and Yujin replied,"Yes, that's it. Now let's get going."
Yujin lifted the Veil and carried on his way, both girls followed, Mai looked frustrated and Maki had a smirk on her face as if she is gloating.
Back at the house which looks a little bit renovated Yujin and the girls enter inside and Yujin intructs them to go to sleep.
"Tomorrow is another test by the way, but it's going to way easier than the one I gave you, good night."
Morning came and everyone ate breakfast, after finishing Yujin led them to a faraway place they haven't been at.
Yujin then sat down on a sidewalk then both girls followed. Yujin with both of his arms on top of their respective knees pointed at the guys far away from them sitting on a bench and said,"Maki I want you to go over there and beat them up", then he pointed to a group of girls,"and Mai, I want you to go over there and beat them up, both of you can decide to which extent you want to injure them."
Maki and Mai were about to speak"But Oni cha-", but Yujin interrupted them,"Chop chop", while clapping his hands, both grumbled but decided to do it anyways.
.....
(the guys at the bench)
"Sigh, I got regected again"
"Again dude, you should just give up on romance"
"Yeah, Raito is right, you should just give up for now and focus on yourself, and one day you'll be with a woman who loves you for who you are."
"You're right guys and thank you, I should just focus on myself for now"
Then out of nowhere they heard a yell right next to them,"YOU LOLI PERVETS, STOP OGLING AT ME!!!!", and before they could process who the person was talking to they got beat up.
They didn't understand, they were cheering up a friend a second ago and suddenly they were being accused of being peverts out of nowhere, and got beat up by a little girl and after that, she just left without them being able to say anything about the misunderstanding.
Maki after leaving then let out a sigh and thought,'Atleast I gave them a swollen cheek each and nothing too serious.'
.....
(The same time with the group of girls)
"I'll be picking up my brother after school so I won't be able to hang out with you guys later"
"It's alright Nagase, it's not like we won't be able to hang out tomorrow or anything and it's still morning so there's that."
"Yeah Nagase, although we planned on watching movies, we can do that tomorrow."
"Ok, let's go to school before we're late."
Before they could go they heard a "Oi" and they turned to looked over just to get punched in the face, all three of them at the same time.
They sat there crying until someone came over.
And the assaulter ran away before anyone could catch her.

(Back at the sidewalk)
After they did what they were instructed to do they came and Yujin quickly dragged them away.
"Oni-chan why did you want us to beat up random strangers, they owe you or something." Mai asked, and with a quick reply Yujin said,"No, I don't even know them", then Maki followed up with her own question,"Then why did you want us to beat them."
"Seemed my intrusive thoughts won which led to this situation."
They looked at him and he shrugged his shoulders and said,"Let's go, not like anyone knows us in this part of the of the city, You really are some troublesome children",and he said that last part with a smirk.
"And guess who put us in that situation!!?" Maki retorted back while Mai was nodding along, and to their frustration he just shrugged again while sticking his tongue out.
"You're not cute Oni-chan, just stop it"
After that they arrived at home again and Yujin decided to ask a question,"Are you guys up for traveling to other countries."
And both excitedly agreed,"YES!!!!", and Yujin smiles at their actions
"Tomorrow we're heading out"
