Chapter 6: Ch.6
I jumped onto land and did a hero landing, "Hehehe, I always wanted to do that." I said grinning.
I looked up and took in a deep breath. I heard my subjects leaving the Ark. I smiled and turned around.
They all were waiting for orders..
I touched the ground, "Mother can you make me a crown?" I asked and I get a Affirmative from my link.

I put the Crown on my head, and grin, "Okay, Let's first find a place where we can start our Kingdom." I said getting nods from the people around me.
[5 hours later.]
We finally found a spot, A clearing surrounded by mountains. It was perfect. I made 3 crowns that looked similar to mine but smaller and gave them to my Adopted Siblings.
"I will be going on a journey." I said I was currently standing on a pedestal infront of my subjects. "I shall be gone for a undecided amount of time, While I am gone My brother Duke Gemstone shall lead this kingdom I have given him a book of instructions for this kingdom and how I want it to be." I said getting cheers and nods from my subjects.
"I shall come to visit every weekend." I said and smiled, "I cant wait to see how you guys build the Great Kingdom of Gaia.." I said grinning.
This got cheers from my subjects. I bow and turn to my Brother, "I am off now. See ya on the weekend." I said patting him on his shoulder, he nodded and smiled.
I soon left.
As I was walking to my first place I wanted to visit I started to vibrate with excitement.
[The next day.]
I awoke to the sound of birds chirping, I stretch my bones and muscles and let out a yawn. I had to stop and make camp last night because It was getting dark. Don't want to be ambushed by whatever is about at night.
I got up and left the rock tent I made.
I was about an hour away from my destination. I began my journey and smiled at some of the Talking creatures around the place.
But eventually I made it.
My eyes had stars in them at the Giant treehouse before me.
Yup, my first destination is Finn and Jake's why, come on! I just want to meet my future best pals, yeah best pals because this timeline is going be different than the original.
I walked over to the small door at the base of the tree house.
*Knock *Knock
I waited with an anxious grin.
Soon the door open and revealed a yellow dog on its back legs, "Hello?" He said tilting his head.
"Jake! Who's there!?" Shouted the voice of Finn I could tell it was the voice he had at the first season.
Jake turned around, "I dont know Dude! It's just some guy who looks like some piece of expensive jewellery!" Ouch bro, don't you know I can hear you!?
I hear the sound of someone coming down from a ladder.
Soon a 12-year-old boy with a white bear hat come to the door.
"Ohhh~ are you some King?" He asked pointing at my Crown.
I grin showing off my Diamond teeth, "Yes, my royal name is King Gold. But my birth name is Chryso. It's a pleasure to meet you." I said holding out my hand awkwardly.
Then it hit me.. Dude this whole situation is so cringe!!! I just came up to their home with no idea how to start the Conversation. A nervous sweat drops down my cheek.
Glob, what was my plan!? I didn't have one…
I looked at the slightly confused faces of Jake and Finn and I just nervously rub the back of my head.
"Can I be your roommate?" I asked getting a surprised look from the duo.
"I can pay in Gold or gems.." I said avoiding their gazes.
They were silent for a decent minute or two.. "Can me and Jake discuss this first." Said Finn and Jake made a sound of agreement.
"Yeah sure." I said with a nervous grin. They both went inside and closed the door.
I stood there and suddenly palmed my face. How could I be so stupid! Be their roommate!? How fucking dumb is that!? Like hell they would let a random guy be their-
Suddenly the door opens, "How much gold are you offering?" Said Jake, I looked down dumbfounded by the fact they were actually considering it.
" Hmm.." I put a hand on my chin in thought. "5 gold bars a month?" Jake's eyes widened at this. (For an example one pure gold bar is worth a thousand gold coins but Chryso doesn't quite know that, this is the reason why Jake is so surprised.)
"Pay up front for the first month." Said Jake with a suspicious look, he thinks I am bullshitting him.
I reach behind my back and five Pure gold materialises in my hand they are stacked up.
I show them to Jake who's jaw drops at the Gold, Money signs pop in his eyes. "Deal!" He said stepping to the side letting me in.
I walked through the door to see Finn standing scratching his head, "Well, I guess you are our new roommate. I am Finn the Human by the way." He said extending his hand for a handshake, I shake his hand and nod.
"Yeah I guess so." I said with a slight smile. But inside I was shocked by how easily I became their roommate.
Jake shuts the door and points at a growing plie of treasure, "Just put the gold in the pile." He said and I do so.
Soon we go upstairs by ladder and we enter the iconic living room kitchen that we normally get to see in the show.
"Luckily we have a spare room that we don't really use." Said Jake and indicated me to follow him.
"This Treehouse originally belonged to our friend the Vampire queen but she gave us it." He says and we stood at a room.
"Here is your room." He said and I smile.
"Thanks, hopefully we can become good pals." I said and shook his hand.
He walks away and goes into the kitchen to continue cooking by the looks of it.
I opened my new room and enter.
It was simple. But it was dusty, it had a double bed with a dusty cabinet and Clothes drawer. Everything a room would need. It just needs some cleaning.
The bed is also super dusty.
Well looks like I have some cleaning to do…
[20 minutes later]
I sighed and flopped onto the now clean bed.
As I stare at the wooden roof of the three house I just can't help but be dumbfounded.
It only took 5 minutes to become Finn and Jake's roommate, man The adventure time world is weird sometimes…

MC is self aware of how cringe it was to just immediately go to Finn and Jake's treehouse lol.
Next chapter we will have some more character development.
Btw tell me if you expected him to become Finn and Jake's roommate lol.
I just wanted to have an excuse to have Chryso become best pals with Finn and Jake haha.
