The day ended far too soon for ayra, gosh wasn't it a few minutes ago she had come to school in the morning. How time flies , now what are you gonna do ayra? She thought to herself. Truthfully if she was being really honest with herself, she was excited to meet up with him after school but.....
She was torn in between, was it right to see him after school? Ayra had conflicted feelings inside of her and wished she had someone to talk with about her feelings for jack, she stared longingly at Ella she really wanted to tell her everything but unfortunately she was speaking with kachi at that moment. Kachi said something and she laughed, and ayra wondered what they were talking about and if they would keep quite, if she joined them. She faced her front and took a deep breath, they didn't invite her in the conversation that means her presence wasn't needed.
Packing up her books in her backpack , she strengthened her skirt time was ticking if she wasn't meeting jack then she would go home and rest.
Ayra please can I ask a favour?
Yeah go on ayra replied to a classmate, her name was alita and they were quite close friends before but once Ella had gotten into the the picture, the rest they say is history.
Is there any problem alita?
Yeah there is an equation problem, that have proved a hard nut for me to crack but am sure you can squash it she said with a smile. Alita had a gap tooth so when she smiled it came out really big and sunny.
Ayra giggled okay, show me the equation let's squash it together, after a few minutes ayra had solved the equation correctly.
God I knew you would know the correct answer, give me a high five she said raising her fingers and ayra obliged enthusiastic as ever.
The pleasure is mine alita, anytime you need any hard nut to squash, tell me immediately okay?
Yeah of course, you are headed home right? Maybe we can walk together.
Uhm yeah, ayra scratched her hair about that I want to read for an hour in the library so am not going home at the moment.
Oh okay, that's cool see you tomorrow my squasher.
See you alita, she replied waveing her hands in goodbye at her then she had a fleeting thought. Alita please wait can I ask you a quick question?
Yes she turned back to face her squarely, ask away.
Ayra stared at her, wondering if she should tell her then decided against it. Am sorry it's nothing serious just wanted to ask about the details of the escusion but I will call you later and you can tell me.
Okay fine by me, byeeee.
Ayra waited for a moment, before she made her way downstairs then quietly entered the hall. Jack was sprawled on the floor and sketching furiously at his sketch book, but when he saw her emerg, he immediately stood up and a smile broke out from his face.
You came, he muttered I thought you forgot.
Tsk when you threatened me, she said folding her arms.
So you are scared of threats muffin?
What are you doing? She asked instead.
Uhm sketching, I draw some times.
Oh I didn't know that, can I see?
Uhm no it's not done yet, but I promise to show you once it's done.
Okay she nodded slowly, she had read some where that artist were quite touchy with their arts.
So do you always ask girls to meet you behind closed doors?
No just you, and I know you don't want to be seen with me he said with a low register .
Uhm so will you stop calling me that nickname now?
No, you are forever my muffin.
Tsk ayra ignored the warmth she felt at the endearment.I don't like the nickname, please call me by my name.
You sound so prissy, ayra is a very beautiful name but your face is so smooth and sweet that I can't help but call you muffin, he said advancing towards her.
Stop coming closer to me, she said stepping back a little.

Ayra stared at him, and swore it would have killed him if she said yes, no not at all.
Okay that's great, so here is the deal you choose between muffin or buttercup.
Butter - what? I choose none jack, can you imagine for a moment the shock on people 's face when they hear that?

Sshhh he held a finger to her soft lips, come taste these cupcakes I baked them myself.
Omg I love cupcakes, she muttered before she could stop herself and I didn't know you could bake? She said obviously surprised.
There is a lot of things you don't know about me muffin, but that's about to change .
Gawwwwd, I can't believe you baked this they are tasty she said closing her eyes and relishing the delicious taste .
He blowed a hair from her face with his mouth, am glad you like it .
Cleaning her mouth with a napkin, she asked him how did you get my number?
Oh I have my ways, have you saved my contact?
Done she said clicking at phone.

Jack she replied shrugging, what else?
Tsk so formal, anyways I saved yours as muffin with loads of love emojis.
She stopped eating at his statement, oh you didn't have to.

Oh okay how many girlfriend have you had, she said out of the blue.
He acted as though he was counting in his head.
Jeeze you can't even remember all of them, they must be a lot.
No am just kidding, none I know I have a reputation but all those girls I have actually never dated them just you.

She was taken aback by the question, and thought about it for a moment, I don't know I want to be the best. Am not sure yet about a particular proffesion but am gonna try a range of stuff she concluded.

Stop flattering me, my turn now and that was how little by little they ventured into each other's lives , though they both had reservation as it was new waters, but they learnt a great deal about each other.
