“Rowen…. Rowen…. Rowen…young lady get yourself down hear”. She could not believe that her daughter wants to disobey the orders of the alpha by arriving at the field late.
‘Jeez mum, you just have to call once” she rolled her eyes and pointed to her ears “being a wolf and all, I can swear the alpha had you calling my name from his palace” she grumbled while coming down stairs slowly.
“don’t use that sassy tone on me, your brothers and father are already waiting for you inside the car, remember this Rowen, no matter what we know or dislike about the alpha, he is still “the alpha” and a direct connection to our moon, so when he says come by a particular time we obey and go by that time”.

Rowen smiled boldly, “you could have said that immediately I came down the stairs”. She ran outside immediately and saw her friend talking to her brothers.
“Tori girl, what’s up”. They gave each other a quick hug. “You really look and sound happy, did you find your mate already? Because that is the only reason needed for me to keep seeing that your smiling teeth, what really happened?
Tori looked at her as if her friend has really lost her mind. “What do you mean what happened‼, today is a very important day, what of if the alpha chose me or you”, she danced around me excitedly . “we might become the lunar of this whole pack, you will be treated with respect and all”.
“I don’t want that Tori, I want to be like a normal person”.
“what is your problem Rowen, every girl wish to be his bride except you, don’t you think something is wrong with you”.
“I am not every girl Tori, I just want to live a normal life with my family around me”.
“ok I get your point Rowen, you might not even be chosen one, and putting your hoodie on may reduce unwanted attention due to your hair color?
“Can girls please enter the car, we have less than four hours to reach our destination” her father called out to them. They both rushed into the car, and they drove off, the atmosphere in the car was charged, except for Tori who was bubbling with joy.
They reached in no time and noticed that each girl was already standing according to their various sub packs. She and her friend said their good byes and went to stand in their own subunit. Rowen was stunned at the different ladies standing eagerly to be chosen by the alpha, the good, the bad and the ugly, ladies that are so beautiful and those well-muscled, not every lady was allowed to train in the pack but there are those allowed to train, they are lethal weapons trained to go on secret missions for the alpha to the human and other beings world, she was not selected to train in that aspect but her father secretly trained her to at least protect herself, but with what she was seeing here she was really going to pass challenging them, she was not stupid at all.
“Rowen, look at that lady there”. Her friend pointed to a muscled female; you could even confuse her for a male.
“Jeez, Tori, stop pointing at her, I swear I will deny knowing you if she walked towards us”

“I thought you guys were told to shut the fuck up” a voice boomed.
