Chapter 2: Meeting with President
In school during lunch break, a horde of young schoolgirls were crowding around a single seat. Which housed the protagonist. They were asking him about his likes, dislikes, hobbies blah blah. Nonsensical things. He responded calmly to all. Making no annoyance evident.
A random girl said, "By the way, Blackwood-san. Do you want to eat bento with me?"
" I am very sorry that I have to refuse you but I simply can't seem to handle Japanese food yet." said Mr.Blackwood
"Can't you girls see that he is feeling disturbed by you guys?" A girl with black hair and a sinful body said.
Seeing her, all the girls went away in agony. She then asked Blackwwod,
"Hello Blackwood-san, my name is Akeno Himejima. Actually the president of my club the Occult Research club wanted to invite you over for tea since you are a fresher. Do you want to go?"
"Sure, Akeno-san. Wait, was that right?
"Well, you can if you want to but I don't suggest saying the first name for others." Akeno said while laughing softly.
"In that case you can also use my first name."
Accompanied by a beautiful female companion looked at with agony by a trio, The protagonist went away to meet with the President. The Girl with red hair next to his seat was nowhere to be seen. The Club was outside in a courtyard. Upon arrival He met with a group.
Akeno said, "Let me introduce you to them. The guy with blonde is Kiba, the short girl eating cookies is Koneko. Why don't you sit on the sofa and chat while I prepare tea?"
I said with sincerity, "Nice to meet you guys, my name is Patrick Blackwood. I hope we can get along."
"It's nice to meet you too. blackwood-san." said Kiba.
"It least your not a pervert." said Koneko.
*While the conversation was taking place, the sound of water running could be heard by me. Someone was taking a shower, why now? that was a different question altogether. These two did not look like trouble makers or anything of that kind.*
"I got your tea, Patrick-san." Said Akeno
Taking a sip, I say looking at her eyes, "The tea tastes good, you have great skill Akeno-san. In fact why don't you make tea for me everyday from today on ward's? I'll compensate you quite generously."
"Oh....Well I might have to talk with the president for that." Akeno said while biting her lip.
"Ara Ara, Blackwood-san are you trying to steal my club member?" A Red haired Girl came out of nowhere and said.
Akeno became embarrassed being caught by her and Introduced her to me,
"Patrick-san, This is Rias Gremory. The president who wanted to meet you."
I smiled at her, "It's nice to meet you. Looks like you know me. so, I don't need to introduce myself."
*The Woman ignored my accusation and sat on her desk which was infront of me. She a beautiful face and hour glass body. But the question she asked me was the real problem.*
"Blackwood-san, Do you believe in the supernatural?"
I made no expression evident on my face and said, "I never thought about it."
"What if I told you that everyone here is a devil? Would you believe me?"
"I might need some proof for that."
As Soon as I said that all them sprouted wings that looked that of a bat. It was weird and there was a strange atmosphere going on.
"Do you believe me now?"
"I think I am going to need some explanation for all this." With a calm expression on my face.
*Saying that Rias gave me a brief supernatural history on everything. That all pantheons are real and The Christian God is referred to as Biblical God. Knowing everything but acting like an idiot is exhausting but I must not reveal my cards. She even told me how Devils could not reproduce children that easily, that's why they made a Peerage System where The noble devil child gets a chess pieces and is able too make others her servants though she didn't explicitly say that. But it is deductible.*
"So, why don't you join my peerage Patrick. You would be ale to get anything you want money, women, fame everything, You would even be able to create your own peerage after becoming a high ranking devil."
I stared at her soul through her eyes, " I do not bow before anyone, Rias."
" Don't let your pride do the talking. Think rationally there is only benefit's for you if you come in my peerage."
"For you to be that desperate you must have some trouble you need to solve right. Tell me and I might help you with it."
Rias was startled, "It's not something you can solve that easily."
"The only reason you approached me was because you saw something in me, I don't need to say more do I?"
"Okay, but why do you want to help me without getting any thing in return?"
Waking towards her desk with impeccable grace and grasping her chin tilting it slightly towards me I say while having a smirk,
"Who said I would do this for free? The price I want is You."
Rias blushed and swatted my hand away.
"We are going to the Forest of Familiars three days from now on. Why don't you come with us?" Akeno interjected feeling that the atmosphere was getting too sweet.
"Sure, Akeno-san. I should go now since classes might start."
I waked away saying that. In the corridors leading to the classroom I met with Sona-chan. She took me with her to the student council meeting room saying that She had to settle something with me.
*After entering the room, She sat me down and ordered coffee for me. The one who made coffee was named Tsubaki. Sona then asked me,
"Do you know how to play chess, Pat?"
