Chapter 1: There has to be another world beyond ours!
November 26, 2064.
The room has almost no light but a shining screen.
In front is a man with disheveled and unkempt long hair staring at the screen with his bloody eyes. He doesn't care about his health or hygiene at this point. His only attention was tightly grabbed by the new lines of texts appearing at irregular intervals on the screen. They were logs of decoding the meaning of something.
"C'mon, C'MON!"
"You can't fail me now! PLEASE!"
He wasn't really speaking to anyone. It was only him in that dim and damp room.
Tick, tock. Tick, tock...

It has been more than 40 years since Artificial Intelligence has become widespread worldwide. Almost every man, woman, and child has a personal AI Companions on their phone which is so lifelike that you can't tell if you're talking to a human or an AI.
Many people in today's world are so attached to their AI Companions that they go as far as to marry them.
What Andrej is doing is utilizing a superpowered AI which is called an AGI or Artificial General Intelligence to do analysis on a huge amount of data. This is something that is not available to the general mass.
This AGI can learn from itself!
Another way to say it is it's an AI that can constantly improve by itself and solve unsolved equations of mysteries.
Moreover, it's powered by a quantum computer— billions of times more powerful than today's supercomputers.
This is all possible because Andrej isn't a normal 9-5 guy. He is a hidden conglomerate trillionaire. Pay attention to the word "hidden".
Lists like Forbes's richest person or most influential lists don't really dare to show who is the top 150 apex human beings in the world.
The ultra-rich don't want to go around banging drums to get recognition. Rather they are afraid to be recognized. Too much attention is always bad. They silently control the politicians, the genius entrepreneurs, the Hollywood, and the superstars and use them to direct the sheep to know what they want them to know and restrict them from knowing what they shouldn't.
They run the huge banks or investment management companies that control funds worth over 30 trillion dollars. The money they can wilfully transfer might be the GDP of some small countries.
Andrej is an oddball among these apex of the human race though.
Some even call him insane secretly.
But don't forget, he has reached the top. Nobody has the guts to call him that out in the public or on social media.
What's even more fearsome is that he is a self-made person. He has seen the ups and downs of society. From the small entrepreneur to the untouchable person he is now today, he has seen all the true natures of humans. He also controls many influential people in the government in the palm of his hand to do his bidding.
Presidents and prime ministers of countries, the generals of armies, even the United Nations security council shakes when he takes a step.
He has become close to invincibility.
But he's not into the power game too much anymore. He doesn't go to the secret conglomerate meetings, the lavish and perverse parties on private islands. Rather, he stays holed up in his room all day long.
It was also about 40 years ago that he found that one of world's most secret intelligence agencies were doing something unusual.
From then on, the materialistic world seemed kind of meaningless.
It was all about a weird incident and something hidden deep in the ocean.

"IT WORKED, IT WORKED! OH MY GOD!! I WAS RIGHT"
He screams at the top of his lungs after long hours of staring at the screen where the AI was trying to solve what a very weird looking sketch meant.
But there was nobody to hear him as he was the only person in that room.
The sketch turned into some strings of text that a human could understand. All this supported his claim .... that there is indeed another world beyond ours!

40 years ago. Year 2024.
The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa.
In a private suite solely dedicated to Andrej.
"Selina, where is the news I asked you to get out of the mouth of the CIA?", Andrej asks while sipping coffee.
"Sir, I haven't received confirmation. However, we did have success in contacting the other few intelligence agencies. They snitched on the CIA and said that they were trying to cover up something near the Indian Ocean."
As Selina, the secretary hands over the encrypted USB, she steals a glance at this heavenly man. What a pristine creation of God!
She has been working for Andrej for over a couple of years now. And she has been smitten from the get-go.
Well, Andrej didn't let her down either. They had many sessions of "deep understanding".
"I knew there was something weird when the entire CIA force went haywire on a single Arizona. Why would you need to send those men in black in droves to an ordinary person?", Andrej had recently heard of a weird and suspicious incident.
It was about the death of a man who claimed that there was a secret portal hidden in the deep ocean. But more importantly, the death was caused by the CIA!
It sounds ridiculous and not even Andrej believes claims like this. Naturally this man's claim is unscientific.
But what puzzles Andrej is the reaction from the CIA, the best, most ruthless, and capable intelligence agency in the world.
They not only sent several teams of special agents codenamed "Men in Black" and assassinated him, his entire family, and burned down his entire farm.
That farm was where he apparently did his "research".
And later, not a single news was released about this burning of a huge farm. All the nearby people know is that some accident happened where this old man had died.
Even he was killed, Andrej, like anyone sane didn't choose to believe the "portal to another world" theory of the man.
Selina said as Andrej looked through the files in the USB, "The CIA was naturally trying to cover their tracks. But there are some truths to the old man's research. We can't verify whether there really is a portal or not, but what is sure is that since 65 years ago the US government and the Allies are guarding this piece of land very tightly. And nobody really knows why. But everytime anyone tried to come close to unveiling this mystery, they were all but assassinated."
'Very unsual', Andrej thought to himself, 'Hmm? Why does this look like some encrypted message?'
There were some pictures that the old man had drawn and were found in the barn. The snitch who leaked this news had his hands on these.
Selina who noticed Andrej's frowning to the pictures added lightly, "Apparently, the old man was shouting whilst the Men in Black were apprehending him."
"What was he saying", Andrej said without turning his head.
Selina replied, "The god has ordained. The chosen will return. The end has come. The blood will flow rivers!"
