Chapter 15: Battle and a Gift to Future Father-in-Law
(3rd POV)
In an island with a colossal giant head skeleton sporting a horn, skirmishes erupted near the dome following a massive explosion. Samurai took advantage of the chaos, venting their pent-up hatred toward the Beast Pirates personnel. The Beast Pirates, caught off guard by the sudden attack, seemed disorganized and lacked a leader. Shimotsuki Ushimaru led the assault, taking advantage of the opportunity.
"Attack! This is our chance to make them pay!" Shouted one samurai as they charged towards the pirates.
"Ushimaru-san, it appears the intel from that masked man is correct. Few people are guarding this island, and even King and Queen are absent," reported a samurai analyzing the situation.
"Hmm, he's the one who blew up the entire cave just now. He must be inside the dome. We need to buy him some time. As long as he can damage the dome, Kaido will lose his HQ. That will put a smile on my face before we meet Oden-sama later," Ushimaru said while he is chopping the pirates that get in his way. For them there is no way they will be left a life after Kaido is back, so they put all their live just for this moment to fucked up his lair.
"Haha, you're right, Ushimaru-san. I want to see that bastard Kaido's face when he sees his home getting blown up."
"Let's go kill some more of these bastards, Uzuki," Ushimaru led the remaining samurai toward the dome, with Uzuki rallying others to regroup for the attack.

Meanwhile, inside the secret passage in the dome, two figures were seen darting around at high speed. Barely encountering anyone, they remained undetected. One, wearing a creepy mask, threw something into every room they passed. The figure with white long hair, Yamato, questioned the masked man, Vanze.
"Vanze, what did you just throw into every room we passed?"
"It's a firework like the one from the cave. Are we still too far from our destination, Yamato?" Vanze responded.
"It should be near, the treasury where that giant red stone is hidden below this dome. We need to get down two more floors and we'll arrive," Yamato explained. There were multiple treasure rooms in Kaido's HQ.
"Okay, let's move even faster then," they increased their speed heading toward the stairs leading downstairs. However, before reaching the stairs, a man with green hair and a hat emerged, blocking their path to the lower floor.
"Damn, Queen took the remaining crew members to the Udon prison. We lack people to defend this place, and those samurai outside are causing chaos. He can't even be contacted now. What is that bastard doing?" The green-haired man cursed about the situation while trying to contact someone through the Den-Den Mushi.
Vanze and Yamato stopped not far away to discuss how they could get around the green-haired man. Vanze calmly analyzed their situation, but when he saw the man trying to contact someone, he made a decisive decision.
"If I remember correctly, that person should be Sasaki, the one who just joined that bastard father's crew. He has an ancient zoan devil fruit," Yamato explained.
"Yamato, I will try to get his attention first, lure him from this place, and finish it really fast while you go down to the next floor. I will catch up with you after I defeat him, so you need to wait here, okay?" Vanze told her about his decision.
"You will fight that newcomer named Sasaki? Are you sure? Didn't you say we don't have much time left?" Yamato looked at him with concern flashing in her eyes.
"Yes, remember, go straight to the lower level after he is baited by me. Here is your kanabo," Vanze gave her back her weapon and started walking toward Sasaki while Yamato hid.
"Um, be careful," Yamato said.
Vanze activated both of his detection powers, KG and Kenbunshoku Haki. He walked toward Sasaki until he finally made his figure known and was noticed by Sasaki.
"Who are you?" Sasaki stopped what he was doing and stared at Vanze seriously.
Seeing a mysterious figure with a full white outfit and a creepy mask made Sasaki raise his vigilance and ready to attack at any time.
Vanze didn't say anything; he just kept staring at Sasaki. The two kept staring at each other until they both suddenly moved and clashed at the same time.

(Vanze POV)
'Huh? He's quite strong,' I mused as we clashed with each other.
Sasaki persistently threw punches my way, but my awareness, thanks to KG, allowed me to predict and evade each one. Simultaneously, I relentlessly landed blows on him, dodging his attempts. The exchange continued until I executed a Tobu Shigan, creating some distance between us.
'He's slow but tough, as expected from a Zoan.' Now, it's time to draw him out.
"Who the hell are you!? You dare to invade Kaido-san's headquarters... Boom!" I cut him off with a swift attack, utilizing Rankyaku: Hakurai. Sasaki emerged a bit bruised but had transformed into his Zoan form, Ryu Ryu no Mi model: Triceratops.
'Let's start running.' I hoped Yamato seized this opportunity. Employing Soru, I guided Sasaki into another room.
"You bastard! Stop, I'll kill you!" Good. He pursued me like a bull, his speed is lacking. Sasaki hadn't reached his peak yet, it seemed.
I continued sprinting to the other side of the dome, launching Shigan toward him as I went. Reaching the opposite end, I ceased running, glancing back at Sasaki charging in his Zoan form. Activating Busoshoku Haki to shield my entire body, I also employed Tekkai to withstand his attacks.
I prayed that Yamato was already making her move...

(3rd POV)
Not long after Vanze enticed Sasaki into a fierce confrontation on the opposite end of the floor, Yamato initiated her descent towards the lower level. She sprinted with exceptional speed, harnessing the power of her Devil Fruit. Yamato possessed the Mythical Zoan Inu Inu no Mi, model: Okuchi no Makami. Her lineage as Kaido's child, coupled with her formidable Devil Fruit, rendered her a formidable force at her age.
"Huft... I hope Vanze is okay. Sasaki seems quite formidable, though I don't know much about him. I trust Vanze can conclude it swiftly before the others return," Yamato mumbled. She fretted over the possibility of Queen's imminent return, considering his supposed presence in Udon, near Onigashima.
She surged towards the chamber housing the red poneglyph, occasionally incapacitating those obstructing her path until they succumbed.

Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the dome, the clash between Vanze and Sasaki intensified. Vanze bore visible wounds — blood on his shoulder, a cut on the side of his rib, and numerous bruises. Sasaki, in his zoan form, suffered from severe cutting injuries, and the disconcerting sight of his tail being severed from his back.
"Huft... Huft... You bastard! You managed to damage me to this extent. Your background is unquestionably extraordinary. I will capture you to furnish Kaido-san with all the information," Sasaki declared, charging again with every ounce of his remaining strength.
Vanze remained silent, his purple eyes gleaming brightly. He coated his entire right arm with Busoshoku, poised to strike at the opportune moment.
"Take this, Triad Impact!!!" Sasaki closed in, intent on crippling Vanze with his attack. However, just before impact, Vanze evaded at the last second, moving fluidly while aiming his hand towards Sasaki's eyes.
"Argh!!!" Sasaki screamed in pain as Vanze used Shugan to maim one of his eyes.
"You! I had en... Ugh!!!" Vanze showed no signs of stopping. He slid down towards Sasaki's belly, delivering a powerful kick from below that sent him soaring into the air. Sasaki couldn't respond swiftly due to the previous attack and his massive form

"The last..." Vanze whispered while readying both arms coated with Busoshoku Haki. As Sasaki plummeted from the air, Vanze leaped with all his might.
"Rukuogan...!" Vanze struck Sasaki's belly with a mighty punch, creating a colossal shockwave. Sasaki vomited copious amounts of blood, suffering severe internal injuries as he was propelled towards the roof by the force.
"Huft... Huft... He shouldn't be getting up after taking such a devastating blow from my Rokuogan," Vanze remarked while gazing at the hole where Sasaki was propelled. He cradled his bleeding shoulder with one arm.
"I need to go now." He sprinted towards the staircase leading downstairs, endeavoring to catch up with Yamato while leaving a trail of obstacles in his wake.

(Vanze POV)
'That was a grueling battle, huft... huft...' His endurance is commendable. Fortunately, I'm swifter than him, allowing me to evade many of his attacks. But his horn pierced my left shoulder, damn it.
'How much time do I have left, Seele?' I hope I haven't squandered too much time fighting Sasaki back there.
[ You have 7 minutes left. You better hurry, Vanze. ]
'I wasted a lot of time fighting him, thankfully I can sense Yamato not far away from here.'
Despite my desire for a nap, the damn quest needs to be finished first. I keep moving toward Yamato's direction, noticing some people passed out along the way. Hmm, it must be Yamato.
I descend to the last floor, and not far from here, I see Yamato in front of a giant door. She looks at me while waving her arm.
"Vanze! You're finally here. You defeated Sasa... Huh...? You are hurt!? Is your shoulder okay?" She welcomes me with a smile, quickly shifting to a worried expression. What a good girl.
"It's fine, I can heal it later. We need to move fast, Yamato," I say, shrugging off the injuries.
"Oh... Okay, the treasury is behind this door. Let's go." She opens the door, and we walk in. What I see is shocking, as expected from a future Yonkou pirate crew. Even though Kaido just started mining seastone not long ago, the fortune in here is enough for me, and there is a red poneglyph. Wait... Is that another one? It's a blue one. Oh, now I remember. Law in the manga saw this one while they were raiding Onigashima. Hehe, Robin will be very happy with this.
"How? There's not much in here, this room mostly used for storing the big red stone. That bastard father got it from somewhere in Wano and relocated it here," Yamato explains. She says it's not much? Are you sure? I can even sense a couple of Devil Fruits in those crates.
[ 3 minutes left, Vanze. ]
"Alright, let me touch and store all of them in my inventory first, and Yamato, can you help me put these 4 things in each corner of this room." I give Yamato the rest of the remote-control BIM that I have left and then start looting all the treasure in here.
"This thing is the one that causes the firework? So small..." Lady, please. That small thing can blow up this entire room and floor. Thankfully, Yamato doesn't play with it and starts placing it towards the corners of the room.
Not long after we finished our work, the treasury is already empty, and I hold Yamato in one hand while the other holds a detonator for BIM.
"Yamato, are you ready? Do you really want to leave your father?" I ask her one more time; there is no going back after all.
[ 60 seconds left. ]
"Yes, I'm ready. I also want to pursue my own life, not the one he wants me to lead. I'll be back later to beat him up and tell him that his way of life is not the only one available to me; I will prove him wrong. So, let's go to the sea, Vanze!" Yamato says, looking towards me with her toothy smile. Heh, cute.
'I can push the button now and be teleported right after I do it, right?' I ask Seele to confirm it one last time before I blow this place up.
[ Yes, you will get teleported to Vuldia island after that. 30 seconds left. ]
'Huft... Alright.'
"Hahaha, let's go then, partner." I hit the button, and the entire place is lit up by explosions while Yamato and I are swallowed by the black light.

Vuldia island
'Ouch...!' After being swallowed by the same black light that teleported, it feels like we are being thrown out of it. Yamato can land perfectly while I'm thrown directly onto the sand.
'You know I'm injured right now; I suspect a double standard.'
[ Stop whining, and by the way, congrats for succeeding in an almost impossible quest. If you take the mission on another day, maybe you will indeed need to fight directly with teacher Kaido. You are lucky this time around, brother. ]
Now that Seele mentions it, if it were another day, I might as well have chosen a game over ending directly. Maybe it is because I was doing something good, like saving Azel and Hancock, before going to take that quest. I got lucky.
[ Do you want to check the reward now? ]
"Woah...! We really got teleported from that room. Hahaha, it is amazing, Vanze." Yamato said to me, laughing while looking around her surroundings.
'Let's wait for later, Seele.'
"See? I'm not lying, right? We finally get out from that island." I said to Yamato while putting my damaged mask back into inventory. I walked beside the excited Yamato and led her toward the shore.
"Where are we going now, Vanze?" She asks me with her big eyes overflowing with curiosity. I turned around, facing her with a smirk on my face.
"Home..."
