With determination, Yotsuki Kiyoi shouted, "Thunder Chakra mode!" He aimed to activate the Lightning Chakra mode fully, intending to follow a predetermined route and evade Uchiha Natsu as quickly as possible.
However, in that crucial moment, Yotsuki Kiyoi observed a peculiar development—the katana in Uchiha Natsu's hand began to tremble. Bewilderment flashed across Yotsuki Kiyoi as he witnessed an increasing number of sword shadows before him, feeling his focus slipping away.
Ultimately, there was nothing before him but an overwhelming sky filled with the shadows of the Sword. "Swordsmanship Willow!" declared Uchiha Natsu as his shadow clone ensnared Yotsuki Kiyoi with illusions. Swiftly, Uchiha Natsu materialized beside Yotsuki Kiyoi.
Blinded by Uchiha Natsu's presence, Yotsuki Kiyoi could only perceive the swaying shadow of the sword, like a wicker in his field of vision. "Shua Shua!" The air echoed with the sound of blades slicing through it, transforming the katana into bursts of light.
In a mere blink, Yotsuki Kiyoi's head was severed, and simultaneously, his heart was impaled. Uncertain if Yotsuki Kiyoi possessed any hidden cards, Uchiha Natsu opted to strike both vital points. The colossal, headless body descended to the ground with a muffled thud.
Uchiha Natsu's shadow clone approached the fallen head, positioning the knife's tip between the eyebrows and ruthlessly stabbing downward. "Puff!" The katana penetrated the head directly. "This time, it's much safer," believed Uchiha Natsu, confident that any potential secret techniques would prove futile.
Ensuring the foe's demise, the shadow clone sealed Yotsuki Kiyoi's lifeless body in a scroll. Uchiha Natsu emerged from the ground and, upon receiving the scroll from his clone, possessed all the "trophies" from the encounter. Vigilant, he scanned his surroundings.
Sealing the fate of the corpses, Uchiha Natsu formed seals with both hands and employed earth escape ninjutsu to construct a concealed "basement" on the spot. Once built, he stealthily entered the underground sanctuary, minimizing the risk of being detected.
Within the basement, Uchiha Natsu conducted a count of the casualties. The battle yielded a total of six Jōnin corpses, 30 Chūnin corpses, and one unidentified corpse, with the lowest being an Elite Jōnin.
Elated to acquire the body of a formidable opponent like Yotsuki Kiyoi for the first time, Uchiha Natsu's excitement soared. Resonating with the thrill of victory, he decided to postpone Yotsuki Kiyoi's recovery in favor of retrieving the Chūnin bodies first.
The thirty Chūnin corpses served as rewards for enhancing physical fitness, offering attributes such as physical resistance, thunder, fire, water, wind, earth resistance, and physical enhancement, each obtained at least twice.
Subsequently, Uchiha Natsu proceeded to recover the Jōnin corpses. As expected, most exhibited "advanced blood succession." Upon retrieving the third Jōnin corpse, the three Tomoes in Uchiha Natsu's spun rapidly, culminating in the formation of an intricate pattern—the Mangekyou Sharingan.
Uchiha Natsu's Mangekyou, named "Royal Soul," possessed unique abilities. The left eye could absorb all pupil techniques and ninjutsu related to the soul within its line of sight. It could assimilate abilities from Sharingan, and Mangekyou, as well as those related to the soul.
The right eye could release the absorbed and stored skills. However, a limitation existed—it proved helpless against pupil techniques of a higher level, like the Rinnegan and eternal Mangekyou.
Reflecting on his awakened ability, Uchiha Natsu pondered. Realizing his desire for security, he conceived a Technique to resist soul attacks.
"Although the Mangekyou has been awakened, it cannot be easily used yet," Uchiha Natsu pondered, mindful of the potential risks associated with excessive use.
The concerns about the pupil technique temporarily dispelled, Uchiha Natsu turned off the Mangekyou and commenced the recovery of the remaining Jōnin corpses. With three Jōnin corpses left, the rewards included a change in Chakra nature and two advanced blood successor activations.
Following the infusion of a wonderful warm current, Uchiha Natsu discovered a change in the nature of his chakra—water attribute. This marked the acquisition of four attributes: fire, earth, thunder, and water.
In the excitement of newfound abilities, Uchiha Natsu opted to receive the two advanced blood successions. The warm current enveloped his eyes, and Uchiha Natsu felt the increase in his pupil power. Carefully gauging the two enhanced pupil powers, he estimated that it would take at least 30 advancements to achieve the evolutionary eternal Mangekyou if not more.
Anticipating the challenges ahead, Uchiha Natsu contemplated the possibility of acquiring the eternal Mangekyou during the ongoing war. Time was of the essence, and he aimed to eliminate as many Jōnin as possible before the war's conclusion.
After regaining composure, Uchiha Natsu released a long breath, calming his excited mood. Placing his hand on Yotsuki Kiyoi's burly corpse, he witnessed it disintegrate into dust and dissipate.
