Chapter 4: Love is Love
After all the mess Priya went home and went to sleep early after having dinner in the evening. Having a nice sleep is refreshing Priya was sleeping but then suddenly she felt hungry and woke up from her sleep. Annoyed by waking up from her sleep Priya went to the kitchen to have a late-night snack. When Priya went to the kitchen she saw someone having a meal at the dining table at first Priya got scared that it might be a ghost but then she recognized it was Sumin. Sumin is the first grandchild of Omid Hospital's chairman's son.
Priya: Why are you in my Villa at this rate of the time on the earth?
Sumin: Well I was called to attend an important meeting in Ajmer of OH [Omid Hospital] so I decided to stay with you.
Priya: Why here?
Sumin: Ummm maybe because I missed your body? Hehehe
Sumin giggled.
Priya while making disgusted expiration.
Priya: Pervert...
Sumin: I've had that since high school.
Priya: So does it mean rumours are true about you?
Sumin: Which one this time?
Priya: Leave it. (YOU LESBIAN?)
Sumin: I don't want to.
Priya sets near Sumin.
Priya: There used to be similar rumours about me that were all fake.
Sumin: But rumours are often right
about me. What were the rumours about you?
Priya: Well you are 9 years older than me. You were my big sister's classmate. In school time, I used to work as a child actor so having a normal life was not what I could have at that time. In my school, some students used to live abroad for a while so they were clueless about our society. From the sixth grade, guys started to ask me out. At first, it was weird but I thought it was normal to like someone. I was in 8th when a girl first time asked me out. I didn't like rejecting her but because of acting, I could not date anyone. But after a few more girls asked me out rumours spread about me being lesbian. And that's how I hook up around without seeing my age.
Sumin: Pretty cheap I must say they were. What is wrong with dating girls?
Priya: Nothing...I believe.
Sumin: Have you ever dated a girl?
Priya: Never.
Sumin: So you don't know what it's like kissing a girl and making out with her.
Priya: I have kissed girls and a guy but I never make out with anyone.
Sumin: You are weird. Just kissing it's weird.
Priya: I know.
Sumin: I'm Bi. The rumours about me making out with girls are true.
Priya: Okay.
Simon: You know your cousin was one too?
Priya: Aunt Rubby's daughter Ankita is lesbian not a Bi. She left home when I was 8. Aunt is divorced, and Asha left and went to her Father in Canada and cut off all contact with us.
Sumin: That's why your Aunt is a bit*h to you?
Priya: Yeah I guess. My parents have been leaving me under the care of my Aunt. As they pity her.
Sumin: You made a scene at the hospital that's why heads were called. Board heads are going to have a meeting the day after tomorrow.
Priya: Great ways to die.
Sumin: It's ok. You saved someone we get to keep silent even if someone dies.
Priya: I know about Hospitals' dark side.
Sumin: I also have great family issues.
Priya:Yeah I heard about your stepbrother trying to take your father's seat.
Sumin: Sidd is a nice kid it's just her mother.
Priya: You lost your Father when you were in college.
Sumin: Yeah, after my old man left all work came upon my shoulders. But I never complained tho. I thought I had become an actress and worked for my entertainment company and could screw around but no one knows about the future.
Priya: I will call a servant to get ready for your bed.
Sumin: No need to I can share the bed with you.
Priya: But I won't.
Sumin: Scared you might do something?
Priya: Yes so?
Sumin: I won't mind.
Priya: Huh. You are for real.
Sumin: Hehehe. I just wanted to spend more time with you nothing else.
Priya: Umm...Fine.
Priya and Sumin went to bed. Both lie on the bed. After a while.
Sumin: Are you asleep?
Priya: Why? What? Do you want something?
Sumin: You.
Priya: I'm sleepy.
Sumin: Hehehe I want to talk to you.
Priya noticed there was something in Sumin's voice. Priya sights.
Priya: OK let's talk, tell me what it is.
Simon: Am I qualified to become chairwoman? I am "weird".
Priya: Am I qualified to answer?
Sumin: Yes, you have seen my family, and you used to work with me in the past.
Priya: Sidd is gentle and nice. He is hardworking. But you have always done everything for your family without any intention of proving yourself, unlike Sidd. I know he is your stepbrother but you always supported him and he also respects you a lot I believe. You will be awesome that's what I believe in. I believe in you.
Sumin: After my Father revealed their relationship with Sidd's mother I was not surprised I was 17 years old and had watched a lot of dramas after all. When Father introduced me to Sidd he was 11 years old Father said we are a gift to each other. So we get along nicely.
Priya: That was nice of him.
Sumin: Yeah my old man was nice.
Priya: I will always support you.
Sumin: I will always protect you.
Priya: Are we getting married?
Sumin: Want me to propose how they do in movies?
Priya: Nothing is normal in my life after all. Oh, do you know my aunt is trying to set up me and your cousin?
Sumin: Yeah I heard about it. You and Harsh used to work together as child actors but you quit acting in your first year of college. And also quit social media.
Priya: Yeah, I wanted to enjoy my college life but I got a celebrity life. Professors also used to ask to get a follow-up when I already had quit social media.
Sumin: You don't like Harsh?
Priya: He is like a brother to me.
Sumin: If you reject him then they might set you up with Sidd.
Priya: But he is like an older brother to me.
Sumin: I'm the only one left then but your Aunt is against homo.
Priya: I want to run away.
Sumin: Me too, can I join?
Priya: You will force yourself upon me later.
Sumin gets up on Priya and holds her hands. Priya was startled by her sudden moves.
Priya: W-what is it?
Sumin: I have never forced you before or have I?
Priya: Yes. You did on the set-up. When I was in high school you forced a kiss upon me I tried to escape but your grip was so tight you kept on kissing me and also gave me hickies. That was kind of traumatic. You let me go at that time only because people were searching for me otherwise you had to make out with me.
Sumin: I... I did something terrible you hate me?
Priya: I- never did that.
Priya blushes and turns her face to avoid eye contact with Sumin but Sumin notices Priya's red ears.
Sumin: Even after what I did to you when you were so young?
Priya: Your girlfriend cheated on you and exposed you for being Bi. You came to pick me up from school because I had a shoot that day. I tried to comfort you and told you you could relax with me and then you suddenly kissed me. To be honest, I wanted to kiss you back so you could feel better but... I had never done it before so was too naive and because of your attacks, I got a bit shocked.
Sumin: Are you experienced enough now?
Priya turns her face and looks straight with her innocent doe eyes in Sumin's eyes.
Priya: Maybe I can't satisfy you.
Sumin: We will see it. I won't force this time so you kiss me, I'm closing my eyes for you.
Sumin closes her eyes, Priya holds her face pulls her towards her and kisses her forehead.
Sumin opens her eyes she was not expecting it.
Priya: It wasn't satisfying right?
Sumin hugs Priya and whispers in her ear.
Sumin: I never had such a satisfying kiss before thanks a million kiddo.
Priya: Happy to be at your service let's sleep.
Sumin kisses Priya's cheek.
Priya: Why?
Sumin: You are making me fall for you but I know I should not. You should never love someone just because they love you. You are a good kid.
Priya: Thank you. Let's sleep now. I got the morning shift.
Sumin: Sure, let's JUST sleep. Kiddo.
