Gaius left before Anna could return with the refreshments.

As a result, although it hadn't been long since Valerius last had dinner for breakfast, he gobbled up the refreshments she prepared in the kitchen and brought to his room, not wanting to let her efforts go to waste. 

'Huh? It's tasty!' Valerius screamed in his mind after taking the first bite.

Anything on a full stomach would typically taste average or just plain bad, but not the food prepared by a magic chef as skilled as Anna. 

'I feel like I can finish it all even on a full stomach.' Valerius liked it so much that he was now ready to overeat, not out of concern for her feelings, but simply to enjoy the delightful flavors and feel good. 'It's just too good!' he thought.
