"Your answer is wrong"
This four words rung continuously in the minds of all students as some of them felt a surge of happiness all over their body.
The reason for this behaviour is not because they hate John but because of his resources being one of the best in the academy.
Due to the presence of the challenge revoking card John has led a peaceful yet cautious life in the institution.
And now due to somebody it all came crashing down.
"Who can answer student Ming's question" Teacher Sienna asked.
A total of five hands shot up.
After studying the faces that the hands belonged to Sienna nodded to herself internally.
The question she asked was a high grade question for the first years of the top three academies and it involves very good base in alchemy.
"Please if my fellow classmates could let me have this question "A golden haired boy with very handsome features and a heroic aura asked as he stood up and cupped his hands for the other four.
Jericho Blaze was what you would call a protagonist.
He was born with an outstanding physique,a handsome face and fast cultivation speed.
He even had a fan club made up of both girls and boys(with majority being girls)due to his talents and heroic aura.
If one was to compare John and Jericho they would find the disparity far too great.
Jericho standing up today in class as the assistant monitor could be seen as helping his fellow classmate but a few others knew better.
Three years ago during the admission ceremony Jericho came to Blue Supreme Institute he was deeply arrogant due to how he was raised and his family.
After the change brought on by the emergence the world was divided into five continents;Dawndusk Continent,Blue Blaze Continent,Shadow Continent,Oceania Continent and the Beast Continent.
Each continent was further divided down into four cities which where like states (except for the Beast Continent) and a special land for the ruling family.
In the case of Blue Blaze Continent There was the Thunder city,Green city,Ice City,Sword city and the capital where the ruling family resided as royalty.
The four cities where maintained by the four ancient families who had deep backgrounds and different areas of speciality.
The Thunder city managed by the Gong family was in charge of production of weapons.
The Green city managed by the Celestia family was in charge of alchemy.
The Ice City managed by the Quinne family are in charge of trade between all cities
Lastly,the Sword city managed by the Ming family was in charge of precious ores and minerals.
The Blaze family was the general overseer of all cities and in charge of military power and their base was in the middle of all four cities known as the capital city which is where the institute is located.
Only a select few knew that Jericho hated John for tricking him three years ago.
But most thought he might have forgiven John after all this time.
Seeing Jericho stand up John starting sweating inwardly cursing his rotten luck for today.
"If fellow student Jericho says so"Three of the students said before bringing down their hands.
"Humph"
"Dear fellow student Claris,please"Jericho said looking at a girl who had exceptional features and a cold demeanor.
Claris Celestia was in her own right an extraordinary talent even more so than Jericho.
And for some reason she always stood up for John.
Knowing that Claris would pity John in their duel Sienna picked Jericho.
After he was picked Claris brought down her delicate looking hand expressionlessly before looking away.
"Thank you teacher Sienna"Jericho said with cupped hands towards Sienna.
He then walked with an arrogant stride (and in the eyes of his fans unbridled elegance) towards the board.
He slightly smiled towards John as he collected the chalk from him before focusing on the board.
After three minutes he turned around and gave the chalk to the teacher with a smile.
"Impressive student Blaze you really live up to your family name"
"Why thank you teacher Sienna"Said Jericho as he puffed out his chest before giving John an evil grin which quickly disappeared the moment he turned to the class.
"I knew Prince Jericho would answer it effortlessly"
"He looked so handsome..."
"John's in deep trouble now."
"Yeah,he always found a way to avoid it but I guess today's not that day."
"Both of you can go back to your seats"Sienna said.
"Now then,as I said before there is an important announcement I have to make"Sienna started after everyone was seated and quiet.
"As you all know your stay in institution is almost over and your graduation exams are almost upon you."
"The exams are divided into theories and martial.One cannot do without the other and it's adviced that you are to score high in them in order to get into one of the top three academies."
"Talent awakening ceremony will comence three weeks from now and with that your future would be decided then."
"But know this,in the stories of all known strong men and women talent is just an aid it's a person's hardwork that decides his future."
"No matter your awakened talents no matter how or what it is never forget to work hard to get to the pinnacle."She said with a smile followed by the cheers of the students.
"As for the challenge between students Blaze and Ming,it would be held tomorrow so as to give room for recuperating and preparation for the upcoming exams."She said after the cheers died down while looking at John with a smile.
"That would be all for now thank you and study hard"
"Thank you Teacher Sienna!"The class said in unison as she left.
"Hey John"Said Jericho as he approached John who's head was bent over his desk with his hands crossed underneath.
"Don't be sad I'll make sure to leave you strong enough to make it for your exam"
"Boss is so kind"One of his lackeys said as they trailed behind him.
"Yeah,boss is the best"
"You should be honoured to be able to battle him"
"That's right"Jericho said nodding his head smiling smugly.
"Ummm...boss"
"What is it?"
"I think John might not be able to hear us right now"one of the lackeys said with an awkward look on his face.
"Huh"
"Snoore"
Came the sound from beneath John's crossed arms once Jericho and his lackeys kept quiet.
The entire class suddenly became quiet.
'Dammit!' thought Jericho as his face shifted through different shades of colours as it finally dawned upon him.
He quickly started looking around the class to see his fellow classmates who suddenly became busy doing other things all trying to avoid his eyes.
"John this isn't over!"he said before storming out the class with his lackeys following behind.
After Jericho left the classroom all the other classmates looked at the sleeping John.
Some in pity and some in admiration and in the case of a certain ice cold beauty an unknown glint in her eyes before turning away.

In the principal's office a middle-aged man stood with his back turned to a certain familiar red haired beauty while looking at something unknown out the window.
"Is it done?"He asked
"Yes."
"And?"
"Surprisingly he chose the other"
"Interesting"He said softly with his back still turned gave a breathtaking smile before chuckling lightly.

Back in the classroom John laid with his head down.
To others he was asleep but in reality he was deep in his conciousness floating in a dark space while looking at a blue panel.
