Chapter 2: A New World

The ever green forest and large cave were completely razed to the ground, and standing at the center if all this was a mysterious figure with long knee-length white glowing hair and glowing yellow eyes.

This person could be mistaken for a girl but upon close inspection and evidence from nudity, it was in fact a boy.

He stayed unmoving for about 30 seconds before slowly moving his palm to his line of vision before opening and closing it several times, he proceeded to move it across his body observing it with his expression changing slightly.

He finally seemed to pick interest in the surrounding as he looked around, but didn't dwell on this for too long. After all, there was barely anything at over 20km radius.

"Damn."

This was the first word of a being sealed for over a thousand years. After stretching out, his lips curved into a frown.

"I guess I over did my return, there were people here, all probably dead by now. I would have love to reward them for their dedicated service, but well… Shit happens," he shrugged.

Back from the time were he was sealed, the thought of anyone receiving a reward from him would be an epitome of grace, because this boy was the most powerful mage of his time, who with his powers was able to end the greatest war ever to occur in the history of the planet.

But that may no longer be the case.

"I remember getting sealed to preserve my life caused by excessive use of magic during the conclusion of the war, but just how long has it been? My body is also several years younger than it was. I guess there's one way to find out."

*Swish*

In an instant he appeared many meters above the ground suspended mid-air and in the next, he was gliding through the forest at light speed.

Few seconds after he stopped close to a village meaning that he had covered the distance of the forest within this period.

He had to access the information he needed through the people but avoided going to the more urban areas which was why he chose to stop at this village.

Not as if he couldn't access the information through the bigger cities from his current location.

Still floating in the air, he closed his eyes as magical glowing symbols appeared around him, followed after by an extending wave of magical energy.

By the actions of this village occupants, they didn't notice this at all, which was due to the high level of imperceptibility of this spell.

Different images flashed in front of his closed retina. This was as a result of information processing which was happening through several ways like geography, text, pictures, conversations, objects...

He was gaining information through all this. Such a magical spell was too broken, who wouldn't kill for something like this.

His eyes suddenly flung open as the spell seized with a trickle of blood running down from his left nostril. He gently wiped It off with an amused expression.

***

Within a large room with barely any lighting. A terrifying figure cloud in black armor was seated on a large throne chair.

As if suddenly noticing something, his gaze shifted towards a certain direction.

***

In a certain grass land vegetation.

"Shit! shit! shit! just how, what are the chances of them meeting. Obviously very slim but it had to happen. I hope I come out alive from getting caught up in the cross fire."

A nervous young man couldn't help but gulp hard staring at two females each giving off a domineering aura. These two were top guilds the chances of them meeting like this was very slim and just as slim was the possibility of them not trading blows. Which was enough to threaten the lives of him and everyone else here, also having similar expressions with him.

Both eye longing power houses stared at each other right in the eyes but all of a sudden, their vibe changed for a reason unknown to the others as they both shifted their gaze somewhere else.

"Sigh"

'Seems like I attracted some attention at the end. I noticed it when coming here but after using this spell, I'm hundred percent certain that I can't use my full powers, which is why they could notice, probably due to this immature body.

Not like he was bothered about this because one of the many things he discovered was that…

"They're weak."

Even with his partial limitation there was no need to worry…, well, that was exactly what he would've felt during his time but that was no longer the case.

An anomaly like him wasn't needed so he just wanted to live a normal peaceful life as he never had the chance to do so since he was born into the war back then and was forced to live his life just for the purpose of it.

Now, he didn't have any burden to bear so he felt completely relieved and having those attention on him wasn't the best. The silver lining to this was that they wouldn't be able to track his exact location so he it would be safe for him to stay here for a while.

He descended from the sky slowly landing in front of a river. He stared at his reflection on the water before muttering, "Never really preferred this look. Always did draw more attention. I'll go with the other."

His glowing white hair began changing color as well as his eye balls and when this was over, it was replaced by night black and bright purple eyes.

"Much bett…."

He was interrupted by another voice. "Whose there?"
