Peter Parker hadn't anticipated the monstrous power before him. The punch almost made him regurgitate his overnight meal, and he knelt halfway on the ground, breathing heavily to relieve the pain.
Seeing Spider-Man knocked down, the crowd scattered faster. In less than half a minute, only three people remained in the vast banquet hall.
Venom yelled frantically, "See, Spider-Man? You want to save them, but they don't care about your life or death. They will only run faster when you fall to the ground."
"You sticky and ugly monster, I haven't left yet!"
Venom turned his gaze to Ivy. "Yes, I'm really curious. Why didn't you run away with such a good opportunity? Do you think this little spider can protect you?"
"Of course, with me, you can't kill anyone again!"
Peter Parker took a few breaths and finally eased. With a flick of his finger, the spider web launcher on his wrist shot a thread that stuck to the chandelier above Venom. The chandelier crashed into Venom when Peter pulled it down.
With the distraction, the little spider leaped up and kicked Venom's head again, followed by a relentless barrage of punches. The Hilton Hotel's architecture, despite its five-star status, couldn't withstand such force, and the two crashed to the next floor. Fortunately, everyone had evacuated, preventing casualties.
Ivy ran to the hole, looked down, and saw Spider-Man attached to Venom's back, arms tightly wrapped around the opponent's neck. Two cobwebs covered Venom's eyes, and his hands slapped wildly.
Boom! Venom slammed backward, and the marble pillar they hugged shattered.
Peter Parker paused after the impact, and Venom broke his arm, throwing him out like a toy.
"I'm going to kill you, you hateful spider!"
Venom pulled off the sticky spider web on his eyes, and his vision recovered. He roared at Spider-Man.
"Want to kill me? If you have the courage, follow me!"
Peter Parker taunted, breaking a glass pane with a punch. The Hilton Hotel was located in a crowded area, and Peter didn't want to risk causing accidental deaths. Moreover, Ivy was still present, and Peter had a favorable impression of her. He needed to draw Venom away to give her a chance to escape.
But Venom wasn't fooled. "Do you want to lead me away? Impossible! I know you so-called heroes too well. Kindness and morality are the shackles that restrain you. I want to kill you here!"
Venom waved his hand, and the symbiote turned into numerous tentacles, grabbing Spider-Man. However, Peter's keen sense of danger, agility, and flexibility allowed him to evade most attacks and counter with hits.
"Darn it! You are a spider; how can you be as flexible as a monkey?"
"You are too stupid, big guy."
Peter dodged an attack, hooked his foot, and kicked a table against Venom. But Venom transformed one arm into a massive axe, slicing the table in two.
Despite the momentary distraction, Peter Parker maintained his offensive, but Venom's strength proved overwhelming. The symbiote differentiated into tentacles, grabbing Spider-Man again.
"Big guy, you can't move anymore. I think the special department will come to deal with it soon. I hope you don't get sliced."
However, Peter underestimated Venom's strength. The dense cobweb was torn apart, and Venom kicked him against the wall. Venom then jumped up, landing a heavy foot on Peter's chest.
Boom! The ground collapsed again, and the hotel's structure crumbled further as they fell to the lower floors.
Ivy felt anxious. She thought Spider-Man could handle Eddie Brock, but the situation looked dire. Spider-Man appeared overmatched.
At the critical moment, Ivy abandoned her cover and jumped down from the hole. Through the dust, she saw Venom holding Spider-Man's head with one hand.
"Hahaha... Now let me see the true face of Spider-Man and then kill you in public~" Venom said, reaching to tear off Spider-Man's headgear.
Unexpectedly, a whistling sound interrupted the scene. Venom paused, and a large number of petals, sharp as swords, pierced his body. A thick-armed vine rushed in, sweeping Peter Parker away to safety.
"Tsk, tusk, tusk, tusk... I didn't expect that you would turn out to be a superhuman. But that's more interesting, right? I can abuse you as much as I want, instead of just kicking you dead like Harvey Jones."
As Venom yelled and rushed forward, a freezing ray met him, freezing half of Venom's body.
Boom! Venom fell to the ground, his muscles swelling and shaking as he broke free from the ice. He roared, and Ivy couldn't help but cheer.
"Of course, when I received your text message, I drove a sports car to Hilton. Our goal is Venom."
"Venom? Is that the monster's name?"
"Venom, slaughter, whatever it is, it makes no difference. Don't ignore me!"
Venom interrupted the conversation with a roar.
Jude looked at him, a pure black symbiote without the color of a spider. It seemed that this Venom did not emotionally fuse with Spider-Man but directly symbiotically bonded with Eddie Brock.
Without the kindness of the little spider as a neutralizer, Venom turned into a murderer, akin to a slaughter.
"But what does it matter? I can use the green waltz once again."
