Chapter 7: The past
Fe Di reached for the driver's neck and began to choke him. The driver was caught unaware and he immediately let go of the steering wheel, he started to cough profusely.
He reached his hands into his pocket and took out a small knife, he scratched Fe Di's face with the knife.
"Ahhh!", Fe Di immediately let go of him and yelled as she felt a cut from under her eyes to her chin, it was very painful and she started to bleed.
She lifted her hand and covered that part of her face, her whole body trembled and she felt horrified.
Her face! How dare this driver put a scar on her pretty face?
The driver wanted to stab her with the knife once more however Fe Di reacted very fast and grabbed the knife.
Without thinking she stabbed the knife straight into his right eye, the driver was in so much pain and fainted.
Fe Di was horrified after realizing what she had done and her hands started to shake.
However after a while she tried to calm down, she had not intentionally stabbed him. It had only been an act of self defense! Moreover he deserved it for trying to kill her.
Fe Di took the driver's phone and dialed a number.
"Let's meet, at your place", immediately after saying those words she hang up. She kicked the unconscious driver out of the cab onto the ground and jumped into the driver's seat.
An hour later...
Fe Di stood in front of a door covered in blood.
Fe Jung heard the doorbell ring and opened the door however the next moment she fell onto the ground.
She thought she had seen a ghost, wasn't her stepsister supposed to be dead?
"You... you're still alive?", Fe Jung's hand trembled as she pointed a finger at Fe Di.
Fe Di ignored Fe Jung's words and walked in, each footstep left a blood print on the floor.
Fe Jung wiped away her sweat and followed behind Fe Di.
"Tell me... why do you want me dead when all I've done is show you love and respect?", Fe Di went straight to asking the one question wandering on her mind.
At first Fe Jung had been afraid that Fe Di was a ghost however she saw the fresh wound on her face and was assured that Fe Di was human. Though she wondered how Fe Di had managed to escape and was still alive.
"Actually before I tell you everything I want you to know something, your father is actually my biological father too", there was a smile on Fe Jung's face and her eyes were filled with pride. She had been waiting for so long to break this news to Fe Di.
"Fe Jung you must be going crazy! How can dad be your biological father? Stop trying to fool yourself!"
"Fool myself you say? Hah! I know it's hard to believe but then why do you think he married my mother right after your mother died? It's because he had an affair with my mom and had me even before you were born. Since the person he truly loved was my mother, he... killed your mother in order to marry mine. Your mother's death was never an accident, it was all planned. My mother..."
"Shut up!", Fe Di interrupted Fe Jung, "Lies! Everything you're saying is just a lie! Dad loved mom when she was alive! You just want me to hate him!"
"If you think I'm telling lies then check this out!", Fe Jung threw a document at Fe Di.
Fe Di had tears in her eyes as she squatted and picked up the document from the floor, she opened it and took out a paper which turned out to be a DNA report.
At the end it was stated that Fe Jung and her father were related.
If this report was true then it meant her father had indeed had an affair with her stepmother before she was born.
But why? Why did he have to do that? Did...did he really kill her mom?
