Chapter 51: A wall

Outside of the banquet hall in the parking lot, a bodyguard shut the door to a sleek back car before the rest of his team in the other car.

Following this, the two black cars drove of the parking lot, joining the sea of many cars wheeling on the road with their lighted headlights underneath the shining moon of the night sky.

In one of the sleek back cars were Calla and Vincent seated side by side in the moving vehicle. Vincent's gaze was focused on the scenery of cars passing from the tinted window. His elbow rested on the window frame, while balancing his chin on his knuckles.

Calla kept on throwing glances at him from time to time, which he could not ignore any longer.

''You can ask me questions.'' He turned his gaze to her, not looking like the usual Vincent always smiling in her face.
