His gaze remained fixed on his reflection as the makeup brush on his face moved consistently aided by his make-up artist. He stayed quiet as she did her job, his thoughts wandering in places he was most tormented. The words of Ahn Jae Hyun resonating over and over in his head.

The previous day,

"How was Dubai?" Ahn Jae Hyun asked placing the tea cup back on the cupholder.

"It went well". He spoke casually and unbothered but deep down he knew that his question got to him. Why was he asking about Dubai all of a sudden? What a jerk. He couldn't wait to get out of there.

"Hmm, is that so?" Ahn Jae Hyun spoke calmly, living in the demeanor of his impact. "Then I guess you've done your own end of the deal?" He asked, his smile completely fading as his gaze remained unwavered from him.
