Chapter 48: Chapter 48 : they finally meet
"The Marines from land will indeed use Armament Haki as expected. It's such an annoying power," Enel thought.
Enel, having gained some intelligence, wisely avoided the Marine Rear Admiral's slash instead of relying on his own body to absorb the attack.
To his surprise, Enel discovered that his lightning attacks were significantly less effective against an opponent with Armament Haki body protection.
Lucifer had not lied to him; Armament Haki possessed both offensive and defensive capabilities, making it an incredibly powerful force.
"However, this guy's Armament Haki is not strong enough to defend against my lightning!" Enel confidently declared, stepping up his offensive.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Thunder and lightning erupted, as thunder dragons roared through the air.
In no time, Marine Rear Admiral Carl Vados fell under Enel's might.
"Damn pirates, you will all go to hell!" Carl Vados hissed in anger.
"Justice never fails!" the remaining Marines shouted together.
Despite the immense injuries he sustained, Carl Vados refused to show fear or beg for mercy. He was a Marine who faced death with pride.
"ohhh I got goosebumps," Lucifer said while standing on the Nether, wearing an indifferent smile as he effortlessly wielded his power. He raised his hand and casually commanded, "Flying sword!"
" don't think that my death be worthless, I die for justice, god will get revenge for us " vados shouted .
"ummh..Actually we are gods " Enel said with a weird expression.

A pitch-black flying sword materialized out of thin air and quickly stabbed Marine Rear Admiral Carl Vados through the chest.
Marine Rear Admiral Carl Vados fell in battle.

The remaining Marine soldiers grieved for their fallen Rear Admiral and expressed their anger towards Lucifer and his crew.
"Kill them and avenge Rear Admiral Carl Vados!" they cried, rushing fearlessly towards Enel and his companions, with some particularly targeting Lucifer.
These Marines are fully aware that they were outmatched and will die for sure but they want to at least show respect for their leader.
With good leadership, loyal subordinates can be nurtured.
Clearly, Carl Vados was an exceptional Rear Admiral, as the courage and determination displayed by his men. Not a single coward kneeled or begged for mercy on that ship.
"Send them off," Lucifer calmly commanded, waving his hand dismissively.
Rumble!
A thick thunderbolt crashed down from the sky, mercilessly smashed the warship at sea.
With a deafening explosion, every Marine soldier on the ship perished in battle, leaving none alive.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Enel and his crew promptly returned to the Nether together.
"How do you feel?" Lucifer asked Enel.
"Not great? Despite his Armament Haki, his strength is lacking," Enel declared confidently.
"If I gave it my all, I could easily defeat him!"
Although Marine Rear Admiral Carl Vados possessed two types of Haki, his mastery of them was low.
Facing Enel, who commanded the power of thunder and possessed advanced Observation Haki, Carl Vados proved no match and was outmatched at every turn.
"Don't underestimate the Marines. Carl Vados was just a Rear Admiral," Lucifer warned Enel.
"When you encounter a Vice Admiral or even an Admiral, you'll understand what a true monster is."
Seeing is believing, and Enel would soon become firsthand witnesses of the horrors of the sea.

In that moment, a laser beam shot towards them from a distance, immediately covered the Nether in a massive fireball.
The ambush had caught them off guard, only Lucifer and Enel saw it coming.
But before Enel could make a counterattack, it was Lucifer who instantly reacted.
"Ah, seems like they are indeed here," Lucifer said, lowering his hand as the transparent shield formed.
Lucifer had used his void wall just in time to deflect the laser attack, saving the Nether from destruction.
"It arrived so quickly!" Lucifer observed, glancing ahead at the sea, where a top warship had appeared on the horizon.
A tall figure in a yellow suit stood at the ship's bow, hissm Marine coat fluttering in the wind.
"Hey, hey! That's Admiral Kizaru's !" Cavendish exclaimed, his face paling, while baby5's forehead was beaded with sweat.
"Admiral Kizaru, a Marine admiral?" Enel exclaimed with excitement.
Rather than feeling fear, his spirit soared, displaying the bravado and ignorance often associated with the fear of the unknown.
"I never expected to face a Marine Admiral so soon!" Enel chuckled, eager for the challenge.
But before he could make a move, Cavendish intervened.
"Hey, don't be foolish! We can't possibly defeat an Admiral. If you go up there, you'll die!" Cavendish warned.
"Not necessarily," Lucifer replied calmly.
"If you have the courage, go ahead and try. With me by your side, you won't die."
"Alright!" Enel responded with a single word. In an instant, he transformed into a bolt of lightning, shooting towards the warship. Within seconds, he materialized above the ship.
"I want to see just how strong a Marine Admiral truly is!" Enel boasted, as lightning crackled and surged, surrounding his entire body. The accumulated energy transformed into a powerful thunderbolt that streaked through the air, striking the warship.
"God's punishment!"
