Chapter 56: A Nightmare

Amanda was walking with Lucas at the mall in the city center. That day she wanted to buy new shoes for Lucas because his old shoes were too narrow.

They entered the mall and took the escalator. Lucas looked around the mall when he got to the top. Amanda let him down from her arms once he was at the top.

"Mama, come on. Hurry up!" Lucas said, pulling his mother's hand excitedly.

"Yes, yes, just a minute, dear," Amanda replied.

Time passed quickly, now Lucas has grown into an active and obedient child. He is now 4 years old and in a year, he will be entering kindergarten.

"Mama, Mama... This one is good!" Lucas pointed. "This one too! That one too!"

Lucas pointed at all the shoes there because he was confused about which one to choose. Amanda laughed at her son and picked out a blue shoe in Lucas' foot size.
