Meanwhile, Amanda was watching television, watching a tutorial on cooking a meal she had never made before. She was looking for something that didn't have shrimp because William was allergic to it, and Lucas might be too.

"Hmn. Sweet and spicy roast chicken, sounds interesting," she said and sat down while watching it.

Her eyes occasionally glanced at the clock on the wall, to see if it was time for Lucas to go home or not. It was still ten o'clock in the morning, his study hour would be over in an hour.

"Put the chicken in a bowl and then knead it with the spices so that it soaks in, oh like making fried chicken."

While she was focused on watching, her doorbell suddenly rang. Amanda paused the video she was watching and walked to her front door. Amanda had a feeling that there wouldn't be anyone at the door but there would be something left there.
