Chapter 108: Iron Man debuts
As Max completed the programming for the Gaming Capsule and Royal Road, Tony returned in a sour mood.
"Your face tells me my choice of not going to the party was great," Max said, looking at Tony.
"How much time will it take for you to finish the upgrades?" Tony asked, eyeing Max.
"Not much, just some seconds," Max shrugged.
"Okay then, do it," Tony said, and Max got up, following Tony to his garage where a red and gold Iron Man Mark 2 stood ready to rumble.
"At least you've got good fashion sense," Max remarked, observing the robotic suit.
"Upgrades," Tony stated.
Max rolled his eyes at the serious Tony and produced a small ninja star-like disk. He attached the disk to Mark 2's chest, and it started dissolving into nano particles and vanished.
"Done," Max replied.
"That's it?" Tony asked.
"Yep, you can create any weapon; just give it a command. Although, for convenience, I've uploaded some basic weapon designs to Jarvis," Max explained. Tony nodded and suited up.
"Where are you going?" Max asked.
"To finish some unfinished business," Tony replied, and with a swoosh, he took off into the sky.
"I guess Tony is attacking Afghanistan," Max mumbled, recalling a scene from Iron Man.
"Is there something special there?" Bucky asked.
"No, but his company's weapons are being used there by terrorists," Max replied.
Bucky nodded, and both he and Max returned to Max's house.
After returning, Max went to his garage, where Sunset was waiting. "Is it ready?" Max asked.
"Yes, I built the supercomputer required to host an AI above Alisa's level," Sunset nodded and showed him the computer.
"Good," Max nodded and uploaded the Goddess Versailles into the computer.
As the AI was uploaded, Max turned it on, and Versailles went online.
"Hello, Master," Versailles spoke.
"You have the data for Royal Road, right?" Max asked.
"Yes," Versailles replied.
"Great, then add more things to it," Max instructed, incorporating elements from various other MMORPGs to enhance the game.
"How much time will it take to implement all of this?" Max asked, also uploading his memories of all the fantasy content he had ever read.
"A specific time is not calculable, but if we use time dilation, then I can get it done in 24 hours," Versailles replied.
"Sunset, how much time will it take to produce enough capsules to supply to the whole world?" Max asked.
"If we combine all our machineries, roughly a month," Sunset replied.
"You heard her. You have one month, Also, make a game trailer. Sunset, advertise it, and release the trailer within a week," Max instructed Versailles and Sunset.
"Also, don't make the quests and storyline similar. Change everything and make something totally new." Max added Morpheus from the Overgeared world to Versailles to enhance the game further.
After explaining everything, Max left and appeared back in his room.
"The next villain is Obadiah," Max mumbled, hacking everything of Stark and collecting evidence of Obadiah's crimes.
He took a photo of the video and sent it to Obadiah, who replied within seconds.
Obadiah: "What do you want?"
Jake: "Meet me at the cafe near the Stark building at noon tomorrow."
Obadiah: "Okay."
Max cut the chat and went to sleep.
The next day at the cafe, they met.
"What do you want?" Obadiah asked, sitting across from him.
"Half of the shares you own of stark," Max replied.
"And you think I will listen to you?" Obadiah snorted.
"Listen or not, it's in your hands," Max shrugged.
Obadiah looked at Max and replied, "I can only give you 5% of Stark shares."
"Your's 50 or no deal," Max shook his head and said.
Obadiah clenched his hands under the table and replied, "You know that's impossible."
"How is it impossible? You just have to sign it, and it's done," Max shrugged.
Obadiah gritted his teeth and nodded. "Happy deal," Max smiled and said.
Obadiah stood up to leave, but Max stopped him. "Wait," Max said.
"Now what do you want?" Obadiah asked.
"Here, a small gift," Max gave him the Slave ring.
"What's this?" Obadiah took the ring and asked.
"Nothing but a communication tool," Max showed his ring, which was nothing but nanobots. He swiped his ring, and a hologram appeared.
"Your latest product?" Obadiah sat down and asked.
"Yes, go on, try it," Max smiled and said.
Obadiah nodded, wore the ring, and fell into a trance for a few seconds. When he opened his eyes, he heard Max's voice instructing him to remain seated.
"Just keep living as you were, but stop all the illegal stuff," Max said, leaving him there.
"It's a pity I can't kill you, but Tony... I don't know what his choice will be," Max mumbled as he exited the cafe.
As he was returning, Fury called him.
"What is it?" Max asked.
"Can you come to this location?" Fury said, and a message appeared with the specified location.
"Why?" Max asked.
"We need your help with something," Fury replied.
"Hmm, I will be coming then," Max nodded, and Bucky started driving towards the location.
As Bucky and Max arrived, Phil welcomed them. "Who is he?" Phil asked, pointing at Bucky.
"My bodyguard. Don't worry; he is trustworthy," Max replied. Phil nodded and then took them inside the building.
Phil led them towards Fury.
"Just how big can you make that car robot?" Fury asked after greeting him.
"What do you want to change?" Max asked.
Fury nodded to Phil to light up the screen in the room, which showed a Helicarrier. "You want it to change into a robot?" Max asked.
"Yes, can you do it?" Fury replied.
"I can. Though it will take quite a amount of money," Max replied.
"We have enough to build 10 of these," Fury said.
"Okay then, when do I start?" Max nodded and asked.
"And one more thing, It's Transformer not Car robot" Max remarked as he followed after Fury who is leading him to place helicarrier is being built.
