Chapter 7: Fishman Island
--+ Time Skip: 1 week +-- (1514) (Minion Island)
We are currently docked on Minion Island, stocking up on supplies.
"Alright, we will be docking here and stocking up on supplies. Do not, I repeat, do not cause trouble, as I AM IN NO MOOD TO FIGHT, GOT IT!" They all just stare at me very nervously. "GOT IT!!" I shouted, and they all said, "Yes sir!" simultaneously.
"Well then, now Robin and Sugar will go for girls shopping, and Monet, here is 3 million berries. You go with Brisca and Law and get all of the supplies. Then, if you and Brisca can join Robin, if you want to shop more." I gave the orders, and everybody started to move, and I remained on the ship.
I am currently in our ship vault made out of Adam wood and very secure, as I used all the Adam wood on my old ship to build it. As I am sorting our loot, I look at the two Devil fruits. Those two are Mosa Mosa no Mi or the Grow Grow fruit, and the other one is Omoi Omoi no Mi or Mind-Mind Fruit.
Looking at the Devil fruit encyclopedia, I read their descriptions, as one just helps in the growth of plants, and the other one literally gives you telepathy.
I looked at the Grow Grow fruit and wondered if I get my hands on Mori Mori no Mi or Woods Woods fruit and Kōjō Kōjō No Mi or Plant Plant fruit. It will be a good combination to work together, and I am now thinking if I can get these two fruits, then I won't have any food problems on my territory when I become a Youko. I won't have any food shortage, so getting these two fruits is on the agenda.
By the time I have sorted things out, Monet, Brisca, and Law came back. Monet and Brisca decided to stay on the ship and train.
I took Law with me, and he asked, "Where are we going?" and I answered, "The Barrels Pirates' base, as all of them died in Rubeck island during the exchange of your fruit." He was shocked by the revelation.
We reached the base, and through observation, it looks like there are about 7 people in there, probably the remaining Barrels Pirates. We go inside, dispose of them, and one of them was a Devil fruit user, but I knocked all of them out. We open the safe, which had a few million berries and a map. Finally, I asked Law to take the money and go back.
After he left, I looked at the map, and it's on this island. So I moved towards it and found a cave opening. "Look what we have here." As I walked inside the cave, I find a couple of hundred million worth of gold and a lot of sea stone cuffs. "Diez Barrels probably got his hands on them when he was a marine." After that, I killed the Devil fruit user. I had a few fruits with me, but I was also scanning the island to see any changes. Luckily, I saw an apple transform in my pile. I took it and left towards the ship.
--+ Time Skip: 4 months +-- (Sabaody Archipelago)
Well, in these months, I have been collecting Devil fruits. Currently, our crew has, excluding the previous two, the Card-Card fruit, which I got from killing the guy from Barrel pirate, and another one Robin found, which is pretty nifty; it is the Temperature-Temperature fruit.
It's been about 1 week since we have been docked here because I am going to take care of Hody and then find a way to contact Tom. I am guessing his execution is in about 2 to 3 months, and I just got the news of the celestial dragon going to Fishman Island. That means "we are leaving now for Fishman Island," I say to everyone, and we use the submarine to go towards Fishmen Island.
We are currently walking through the streets to the mermaid cafe. As we enter, we see a cute little mermaid greeting us. I heard Robin saying, "Do you think we will have this cute of a kid?" She said in a very low voice, knowing I am the only one hearing it. "I hope so," I say, as the little one is guiding us towards our seats.
Law, Bepo, Brisca, and Monet sit at one table, and in another one, I sit with Robin and Sugar. "So what is your name?" Robin asks while picking the little mermaid up and making her sit right beside her. "My name is Marley," she introduced herself. Then I introduced myself, so did Sugar. We asked her if she worked here, but a fisherman answered, "No, her mother works here. I sometimes bring her here as she likes to work." I then asked, "Sorry, I am Ryuga, and you are?" He said, "I am Jaws, her uncle."
We then chatted for a bit, and then look who I spotted, Hody. I turned towards Sugar and asked, "Come on, we will walk around a bit," and she nodded happily. Then I started to walk towards where Hody and his goons are. I use an intense but concentrated conquer Haki to knock out and incapacitate all of his goons.
I sensed that the celestial dragon ship has finally been docked at the Fishman port, and then I waited for Hody to shoot at Otohime.
I finally see the celestial dragon walking towards Otohime, and I am using observation on Hody and the celestial dragon. I noticed that this one is not that bad, aside from his arrogance. He is not at all evil, as the other ones are. As I noticed, his slaves do not have the slave mark, and aside from decent clothing, they look well-fed. I noticed that Hody is getting ready to take the shot, and I block it. It was chaos, and I hear Shirahoshi scream, and I see multiple sea kings ready to attack.
--> Otohime POV <--
I was about to die, but this red-haired man with a little girl in his arms saved me. I looked over, and I knew who tried to kill me. 'It was Hody.' Then I hear Shirahoshi scream and look up to sea kings ready to attack. I take my daughter in my arms. "It's alright; look, I am here; it's alright." Finally, she calmed down, and the sea kings left, and I had a thought. 'Is she the ancient weapon Poseidon?'
I look over and see Jinbe and palace guard running towards us, and Hody shouting, "Look, he is the one who tried to kill Otohime; the humans tried to kill her." I see this human ready to fight, and I can feel his strength, which is a lot more powerful than Jinbe, and I didn't want an unnecessary massacre over a misunderstanding.
So I ran in front of them, block them from reaching the human. "Otohime sama, get away from him," one of the guards spoke. "It was not this human, but Hody was theone who tried to kill me. This human saved me," and Hody tried to run, but Jinbe caught him. "I am doing this for our race; we are stronger than the humans, and I will make you regret this," Hody spat, and Jinbe knocked him out cold.
--> Ryuga POV <--
I see the Mermaid Queen stand in front of me, blocking the guards and standing up for me. 'She really is a great queen,' I thought, and after Jinbe dealt with Hody, he came towards me and said, "My name is Jimbe; I apologize for our earlier misunderstanding." He bows to me. "No, I understand. I am Ryuga," I introduced myself, and he looks at me and says, "You are Ryuga, as in Crimson Hunter Ryuga." I just nod.
Otohime then asks, "Ryuga san, please, why don't you come to our palace?" I accepted and said, "I was going to go there anyway, so I will accept, but I need to get my companions; they were at the cafe." Jimbe said, "I will go and get them."
After a while, I was standing in front of King Neptune. "I wholeheartedly thank you for saving my wife, Jamon," I said. "It's alright," and then Otohime asked me to stay at the castle. I tried to decline, but when Sugar and Shirahoshi both somehow become very good friends in the time it took us to get to the castle, both look at me with the puppy dog eyes. I just can't do anything like it's probably one of the most lethal attacks in existence.
After a while, the rest of my crew members came, and I introduced them. Otohime assumed that Robin was my wife, which Robin tried to say something, but I didn't let her, and I didn't correct Otohime, and Robin blushed.
We had a very nice feast, and Robin pampered Shirahoshi, and Otohime did the same for Sugar, and I really like this bubbly mermaid princess. She liked my headpats, and I mean she is six years old and looks like a normal six years old, but how did she turn into a giant? I mean, I get the genes, but it must be a huge growth spurt.
At night when we were sleeping, I wake Robin up. "Wake up quick," and she did. "What happened?" she asks. "You want to read the poneglyph; there is one here," and she looked at me wide-eyed and understands. As I couldn't risk her identity being exposed, even if the royal family and Jimbe can be trusted, I don't want to expose her. So I pick her up in a princess carry towards the poneglyph. We quickly copied it and finally went back towards our room and went to sleep.
