Chapter 17: dungeon boss - yeti
Alex moved forward and reached top after 12 hours of climbing and a few stops to rest. When he reached the top he saw there is only one big creature laying there. There is no sub boss in this dungeon.
But this also means the one in front of him is so powerful that it doesn't need a sub boss to weaken the hunter. So Alex didn't get careless seeing this creature instead he planted a few traps in many places and git himself familiar with the surroundings.
As the trees in this region are low in number compared to the ones he saw while climbing the movement he needs to move cautiously and deal with the boss or else can't beat this dungeon.
He opened the inventory and took one pheonix feather, although he don't want to but the creature has a strong breath of ice and it looks very strong in physical also. It's arms may have frost energy be don't want to take chances.
And immediately applied the feather to himself while moving forward. The featyer turned into a flame and entred his body while he felt something warm is flowing jn his body.
Alex then moved towards the yeti, the yeti also sensed him and woke up with a roar. Alex first fired a few fire spells but the yeti didn't get hurt. It roared in anger and chased after him.
It opened its mouth and fired an I e beam which froze anything it touches. Alex immediately jumped using the ejmd boots while sending a flame sword wave at yeti which caused a cut on the boss body.
This made him realize ice atta ks won't work on it, ony flames and thunder. So Alex took out a scroll and sent magic through it. This one of the accidental products that succeeded when he tried to create a lightning bolt.
But instead it created a few lightning arrows that are going to cause massive damage than any spell in his arsenal and even stun the enemy for a few seconds. Alex used it towards the yeti.
8 lightning arrows flew towards the boss and it roared in pain the next second. The area the arrow touched blasted the thick hide away even the skin is gone and blue blood is coming out of the Yeti.
It roared even more madly and chased after Alex who lured it to lwards the traps he made. He lured it into them one hy one while each time it git tricked when Alex going to show one direction and he moved towards another and tricked into the traps of his.
The yeti went berserk at this and used it's life force as fuel to generate rage. Then the area is all cooled down to many degrees while Alex frowned. Then he got it's plan. This thing is going to summon a snow storm now.
Alex didn't want this yeti to do it so while it's concentrating Alex took out all the things he made as precaution. He grabbed many paper bombs and threw them towards the yeti then flew up and did the same again.
Then toon the scrolls and pointed them towards the boss and mde it miserable with the spells that hit it. But his efforst are in vain. A snow storm appeared and the yeti which is already injured and exhausted it's lufe force became unconscious.
The snow storm is like a tornado on the mountains md mobed towards Alex who didn't have much time in desperation he threw a few bombs on the ground and made a hole them jumped into it and closed it using transfiguration.
The snow storm is very powerful and knocked away many trees even Alex's shelter at some points can't take it anymore the stone layer he made opened up. Fortunately by then the power of storm is very weak and it only caused a few scarthes on him.
He goes towards the yeti and found it unconscious without wasting his time he took out the remaining bombs and tied them together then threw it at yeti after lighting it up.
The bombs together cuased a huge impact and the yeti let a painful scream before dying. It died and a notification appeared in front of Alex :
