Elias turned towards the sound and saw a worried Luna rushing towards him.

Police Chief Leonardo, upon catching sight of Elias, widened his eyes in shock.

"My goodness! What happened to you? I almost didn't recognize you!"

Indeed, Elias' appearance was in a sorry state. His clothes were corroded and full of holes, his hair burnt and frizzy, his skin darkened and covered in numerous festering wounds.

Elias gave a wry smile to the police chief and then turned to Luna, who had finally reached him. Her deep blue eyes were wide with disbelief.

"Brother!?"

"How did you get so badly injured?"

Luna gingerly grasped Elias' arm, her voice trembling slightly as she saw the dreadful wounds.

"How... How did this happen? Does it hurt, brother?"
