"Are you plotting something?" Sadao didn't believe that the system would harm him at this point. After all, they were in this together – their fates intertwined. While he doubted the system's sincerity, he also knew that outright deceiving him would serve no purpose. However, not being deceptive didn't mean the system couldn't scheme against him. Sadao couldn't trust a system that had been vowing revenge.

"Are you an idiot? What benefit would I gain from plotting against you?" The system's response was expected. Sadao realized that even if the system were scheming something, he might not notice it. At this point, he felt he had to take things as they came.

"I know you probably don't believe me... but to show my sincerity, I'll provide you with some information." Sadao was puzzled by the mention of information. What did the system mean?

"It's about your cat..." As soon as the words were spoken, Sadao was shocked. "You mean there's something about 'Ruri'?" he asked.

"Ruri... That cat, although recently born and without a formal name, is a character you are quite familiar with. Can't you recognize her?" The system chuckled.

"Quite familiar character..." Sadao began to ponder. Even with the scarce information, connecting the dots between the "white cat" and "a familiar character," he arrived at an answer.

"It's Himari Noihara, the wildcat from 'Omari Himari!'" The system confirmed.

"That's right, she is Himari. I named her 'Ruri.' It's actually quite ridiculous when you think about it!" Sadao admitted. The revelation of Ruri's true identity made him reflect on the amusing nature of his actions.

"I understand it might seem absurd. I didn't expect Himari Noihara to appear in this world. I thought of borrowing the name of a black cat, but it turned out to be a blunder." He admitted his mistake straightforwardly.

"But there's something I don't get. Why is Himari here in Tokyo? Even in this mixed-reality world, she should be staying in the countryside, right?" Sadao raised a question, puzzled by Himari's unexpected presence in Tokyo.

"Host, I understand your confusion. However, the answer is simple. Just like you, she is not a native resident of this world but a visitor from another world."

"I guessed as much..." Sadao nodded. With no shape-shifting ability like Fei Mu, she wouldn't have been able to appear in Tokyo under normal circumstances.

"Since you're not asking, don't you want to know how Himari came to this world?" The system was curious. Sadao, aware of his own situation and no longer fearing for his life, chose not to delve into the secrets too deeply. Some matters were better left unknown.

"Is it essential? As long as I know that I won't age alone, that's enough for me." Sadao was willing to leave certain questions unanswered. He understood that sometimes ignorance was bliss.

"You're really..." The system couldn't help but feel helpless. Sadao's peculiar personality left it with no countermeasure.

"Regardless, thank you for providing me with this information. Now, I have no worries about the future, and I can comfortably live my life." Sadao expressed sincere gratitude. The timely revelation had relieved him of potential future troubles, and now, he could fully embrace his laid-back lifestyle.

Seeing his contented demeanor, the system suddenly regretted its decision. Perhaps it shouldn't have given him this information. Maybe making him anxious for a while would have altered his mindset.

Of course, regrets were pointless now. The deed was done, and the situation had become an undeniable reality.

….

With no worries on his mind, even walking felt pleasant for Sadao. Not to mention buying a computer. Although there was the need to browse and haggle with the store staff, what did it matter? Compared to those poor souls still struggling for their three meals a day in society, his current life was incredibly comfortable.

With a contented mood, his efficiency naturally increased. In just one morning, he had already sorted out the computer matter.

"Let's go back!" Although strolling around outside was an option, he couldn't neglect his role as a store manager. Also, casually wandering the streets couldn't compare to the enjoyment of playing games in the shop.

"Wait for me!!!" Just as he leisurely set out on the journey home, a somewhat unfriendly voice suddenly came from behind him. Sadao was taken aback. Was someone asking him to wait? It couldn't be for someone else, right? Also, this voice sounded familiar. Could it be someone looking for him?

"Sadao!!!" As he was lost in these thoughts, the calling voice rang out again. Now, Sadao was sure that someone had called out to him. Perplexed, he considered his limited social interactions in this world, practically non-existent aside from some barely familiar business partners. Except for the tenuous connection with Utaha, who was now attending school, Sadao didn't think anyone would actively call out to him on the street.

However, the voice did sound unusually familiar. He wondered where he had heard it before. With this question in mind, Sadao slowly turned around. The first thing that caught his eye was a dazzling head of golden hair.

As he marveled at the beauty of the girl's golden hair, her stunning face appeared before him. Seeing the familiar face, Sadao was surprised. The person who called out to him was none other than the famous tsundere young lady, Erina Nakiri, with the extraordinary God's Tongue!?
