Knowing this place is under Faerith's family's territory, Malacai thought of going to Fiona's place for now and asking her for more information.

He then turned his gaze back, wanting to ask Caeli to finish off the lizardman and then cure the rest. 

But what he saw made Malacai smile.

Caeli was looking at the sky, letting the blood rain touch her face. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, smelling the aroma of the outdoors. For many people, the rain and everything that happened is a nightmare, a day filled with terror, but for Caeli, it's a dream come true.

The day is like a miracle, more than getting abilities or even immortality; for her, the best part is she can move again. 

She can walk on her own feet and doesn't need someone to carry her to the bathroom. She can move her own hand, grasping everything around her. If not because of the situation, Caeli would already be running around the field, enjoying the freedom she finally has.
