"We'll fight to see who will become the Wizard King" -Asta and Yuno
"Oh, seems as though I missed something pretty big." I said as I walked over to see a beat up Asta and Yuno fist bumping.
"Ranto?" -Yuno
"Ranto?" -Asta
"Yo.... So if you guys are going to become the Wizard King, then I will have to surpass you both and become The Wizard Emperor. Looks like you guys are my rivals as well." I said seriously.
When they heard me say that they both got even more serious as they know I am already more powerful than both of them and I'll only get stronger.

(6 Months Later)
During the last six months while training with my Grimoire I found some very interesting things. First of all, every spell I created was in the grimoire and they were separated by type of magic, Wind, Lightning, Force, and surprisingly Water. I guess that had something to do with the fact that rain is a big factor in a storm. There was also a whole section in my grimoire entitled 'Enchant Infinity' this had all the spells I could normally do, but enchanted with my infinity ability. There were even some new spells here that were new for each of my magic types. There was a spell simply called 'Flight' and if I enchanted it with my ability I could have enhanced flight, maybe even supersonic flight and that is a godsend considering how much magic power a spell like flight would normally take without infinity as i can already fly forever with Infinity.
I looked at each magic type and came across a super spell and ultimate spell for each one. The ultimate ones are going to be my biggest Trump cards when enchanted with Infinity.

The night before we head to the capital for the entrance exam, we are sitting at the dinner table and we are having a pop-potato feast. Before the dinner starts Father Orsi started talking about how he mostly made the feast for Yuno and myself. This was pissing me off because despite Asta's annoying quirks, Asta's own family not believing in him hit a sore spot for me as I went through something similar in my last life so I spoke up.
"You're wrong Father." I said and my aura was fluctuating and everyone could tell I was pissed.
"Uhh Ranto, what's gotten into to you." Father Orsi asked.
"What kind of family are you!?!?" I asked my voice rising in anger.
"What do you mean Ranto?" Sister Lily asked.
"A family is people who love you no matter what and they always believe in you and build you up. All that any of you do for Asta is bring him down and shit on his dreams. If he says he's going to be the Wizard King, then he's going to be the Wizard King...."
"I'm going to be the....."
"NOT NOW, YUNO!!" I screamed
None of them had ever seen me angry at them. They had seen me angry at others on behalf of them, but not directly at them. Father Orsi looked the most guilty as he directly said that Asta wouldn't pass the exam, how could he say that to him. it got him thinking.
'What kind of a father am I? Why am I bringing my child's hopes and dreams down? I love him as if he was my own son and yet I have been disregarding his feelings.' -Father Orsi
"What do you know? I have been studying Asta's power and I finally figured out what it is."
When I said these words they all straightened up and listened intently, especially Asta.
"Asta has the power of Anti-Magic." I said finally.
"Anti-magic? What's that?" Nash asked.
"It is probably the strongest magic in the world. It has the capability to not only negate magical power and spells, but can even reflect them. Combined with his strong body and recieving training on swordsmanship I can easily see a future where Asta is the Wizard King. That is the reason I have made him a rival of mine." I said finally getting my anger out as they had been doing this to him for years and I finally had enough of it.
With the exception of Yuno, they all looked guilty and remorseful. After a lot of tears and hugging they apologized to Asta and promised that we would act more like a family. This allowed us to end the night on a happy note.
As we were all heading to bed, Asta walked over to me and gave me a tight hug.
"Thank you..... Brother." Asta said and as he stepped back, I saw his eyes tearing up.
"You're welcome, brother."

It is the day of the Magic Knight Entrance Exam and Asta, Yuno, and I are just now arriving in the Castle Town of Kikka in the Royal Capital. On their way to the arena where the exam will take place, Asta met the Wizard King in disguise and bought something called Violet Snake and chowed down. Myself and Yuno just walked along the road taking in the sights as we ignored Asta's antics as usual.
We finally made it to the arena and made our way inside where we saw a bunch of prospective magic Knights all gathered together and lining up. We got in a random line with Yuno in front, me behind him, and Asta behind me.
"Next!" -Arena clerk
Yuno walked up to the clerk.
"Names Yuno. From Hage."
"Yuno from Hage, very well. And your grimoire?"
Yuno handed him his four leaf clover grimoire.
"Huh, a four leaf clover?"
Some of the other arena workers and the others in line started to gossip about the four leaf clover grimoire.
"Right you're number 164, next."
"My name is Ranto and I am also from Hage."
"From Hage huh? Okay. And Your grimoire?"
I handed over my grimoire and a repeat of what happened with Yuno happened to me except I was the infamous second four leaf clover grimoire and from the same village.
"Alright you're number 165."
Asta then came up and what happened in the show happened to him but he got number 166 because I am here.
As we all headed deeper into the arena we came into the large group of mages who were waiting for the Entrance Exam to start.
"Huh, what's with these birds?" -Random participant 1A
"Anti-birds. Everyone knows that the lower your magic power, the more birds you'll attract." -Random participant 1B
"Whoa look at those guys, there's no birds around them, and the birds even seem to be scared of that one guy." -Random participant 1C
Asta walked up and started talking to Yuno about how their story starts here and then he was chased by the anti-birds until he ran into Captain Yami.
Captain Yami grabbed Asta's head with his hand and started to squeeze.
"You wanna die boy?"
I then walked over and looked at Captain Yami.
"I apologize for my brother's stupidity Captain Yami, but I'd appreciate it if you could let him go, we have to begin the exam soon after all."
Yami glared at me, but I could tell he was a praising my magical power which i didn't bother to hide before he dropped Asta.
"Tch, fine. Since you apologized, but tell him to watch where he's going." Captain Yami said his face showing no reaction.
Just after he said that, fireworks exploded in the sky and all the examinees gasped as they saw the Magic Knight Squad Captains arrive.
'Hmm. What an interesting kid.' Yami thought to himself before he jumped up to his seat with the other Squad Captains.
As each Captain sat down, I could here Seke off to the side explaining who they were to Asta. I already knew who they were so I just waited for the exam to start.
I heard the Seke mention the Golden Dawn Captain and I looked over and realized the exam would start soon.
"Attention examinees, I will be administering this year's entrance exams." Captain Vaungence said as he took out his grimoire.
{Magic Trees Decent} Captain Vaungence said as large branches of a tree started to form above the us and started to form brooms on the end of each of the branches as each examinee was given a Broom.
"You've waited long enough. The time has come, let the entrance exam begin. In just a few moments, we will begin the first in a series of tests to see if you have what it takes to be a Magic Knight. Us Captains will be your judges and at the completion of the exam, we will choose the individuals we want on our squads" Captain Vaungeance said.
I just stared at the simple broom in my hand and smirked.
"Now, your first test is to use the brooms you've been given to fly, a mage who is in control of his or her magic can do it on instinct." Captain Vaungeance said.
I just threw my broom in the air and jumped on it and rode it standing up just like Yuno. Yuno was a bit frustrated that I beat him to the punch and he looked as if he was just copying me. Asta of course couldn't even get the Broom to float as he doesn't have any magic power.
The magic power test was next, we had to create bullets from mana and shoot them at stone slabs, the more slabs they went through the better. I had never actually tried creating just a ball of mana, so I may have made it too strong. When I threw the mana ball, which I created instantly, it went through all the stone slabs and the arena walls. All the Squad Captains were now interested in my performance.
After that was the magic control test. For this test, there were paper targets that were flying around and we had to hit the bull's-eye without damaging any other part of the paper. What I ended up doing was make finger guns which I used to shoot small blue bolts of lightning at the targets. This action caused both Asta and Yuno to stare in shock because as far as they knew I was a wind magic user like Yuno.
The fourth test was the Creation magic test. Examinees had a lot more freedom in this test as they could create anything they wanted, the more detailed and well made the object, the better. I used my wind magic to create a replica of Hage Village and it even had tiny wind children running around. The captains were shocked at this as they had already seen me use lightning magic and it is impossible to have two different magic attributes.
The second to last test was the Evolution magic test. For this test, Captain Vaungence cast another spell which gave us all seeds and we were supposed to use our magic to make them grow. After injecting my magic into the seed, it instantly started to grow at a speed visible to the eye and got big enough to be seen outside the arena before I stop injecting my magic.
Myself and Yuno had excelled in every test so far and Asta, try as he might, failed them all.
Captain Vaungence then stood up to make an announcement.
"Now we have reached the final test, a test of combat abilities and skills" -Vaungence.
"Prepare to duel! You will break into pairs and fight one another. Use your grimoires to attack and defend. As mages, battle is our business, we want to see everything you have to offer." Captain Fuegoleon of the Crimson Lion Kings added.
"The test ends when one side surrenders or is unable to fight. We have recovery mages standing by so feel free to go all out." Captain Vaungence said.
The beginning matches went pretty much exactly like the anime, with only a few noteworthy battles, normally involving nobles. Finally it was my turn. I actually was paired up with some random Noble who was a Fire Magic user. He chose me and started spouting some nonsense about how a Four Leaf Grimoire would never choose a filthy commoner and that he was going to show everyone that the grimoire made a mistake.
As for me, I couldn't care less about what he was saying, I just decided to do something that will blow the judges away as I am going to use my weakest aspect of my magic.... Water. I haven't really trained in water magic so it's definitely the weakest of my magics. Considering I have already shown wind and lightning, everyone is in for a rude awakening.
The fire magic user began casting his spell.
{Flame Creation Magic: Rising Fire Tornado}
I large pillar of fire was created and got larger and larger before beginning to spin and generate heated currents of wind
I simply smiled and prepared one of the Advanced water spells in my grimoire
[AN: Advanced magic spells are in between normal spells and Super Spells as some Advanced spells can almost reach Super level if mastered completely]
{Storm Magic: Water Rising Wave}
After I said that, a huge wave of water formed and got larger and larger until it dwarfed the fire tornado. I then waved my hand down and the wave came crashing on the fire tornado and put out the fire which also caused massive amounts of steam to be created. And you could hear a loud scream and then a loud thud. As nobody could see what was going on, I waved my hand and used force to blow away the steam.
When the steam cleared, everyone saw the nobleman laying on the ground completely soaked and his eyes were rolled back into his head. The Recovery Mages quickly came and put him on a stretcher to take him to be healed.
'Wind, Lightning, and now Water. Just what the hell kinda magic does this kid have?!?' Captain Yami thought to himself while staring at Ranto slowly leaving the center of the arena.
All the examinees are now grouped up waiting for what's next.
"That concludes the exam, when you hear your number, please step forward to hear your results." Captain Vaungence said to the crowd.
Suddently Charlotte, Captain of the Blue Rose Knights stood up.
"If a Captain wants you on his or her squad they will raise their hand, that means you're in. If you do not want to join a squad, you may of course decline. If you are admitted into more than one squad, it is up to you to choose which to join."
"However, if no squad wants you, you will not become a magic Knight." Fuegoleon added.
"In which case you must leave immediately." Nozel, Captain of the Silver Eagles continued.
"Next, number 164." The arena clerk stated.
Yuno stepped forward after announcing he was present. When the arena clerk asked if there were any hands, every single one of the Squad Captains raised their hands. I already expected this, so I wasn't shocked, but everyone else was.
"It would be my honor to join the Golden Dawn." Yuno stated with finality.
"Sigh... They always nab the cream of the crop." Finral said about the Golden Dawn.
"Well, what can you do." Captain Yami said in resignation.
"Next, number 165!" The arena Clerk stated.
"Here!" I stated as I stepped forward.
"Are there any hands?" The arena clerk asked.
All the Captains once again raised their hands and it seemed they raised them faster than for Yuno.
I pretended to think for a second, but I already knew which squad I was going to choose, the squad that is at the center of everything and the one that honestly needs the most help.
"I would like to join the Black Bulls." I said.
My words caused shock all around and many of the Squad Captains frowned, namely the Purple Orcas Captain and the Silver Eagles Captain, but I did see a small downturn on the smile of Captain Vaungence.
"Haha, looks like we got some of the cream of the crop as well." Yami said as he laughed.
Before the arena Clerk could continue, Captain Vaungence stood up. Everyone turned to him and then he looked at me.
"I did have one question for you and I hope you can forgive my curiousity, but I would like to know how it is possible that you have 3 magic attributes?"
After he said that, the crowd went into an uproar, finally able to voice their thoughts about what they had witnessed in this exam, saying how it was impossible to have three attributes or that I was some experiment gone wrong. Captain Vaungence raised his hand to quiet everyone down and looked at me again.
"Well?" He asked.
"Of course sir, I have no problem explaining. While it may seem as though I have three attributes, I actually only have one. My attribute is called Storm and my Storm magic has the same capability as that of an actual storm, so strikes of lighting, rain, wind, and crashes of thunder." I explained quickly and concisely.
"I see, that is quite a unique magic you have there. Very well, thank you for answering my question young man." Captain Vaungence said as he sat back down.
'A very unique magic indeed, I will have to keep an eye on this one.' Vaungence thought to himself.
'Hahaha, I really struck gold with this kid, he is like having four mages in one as he even mentioned a crash of thunder which must mean he has another magic type.' Yami thought to himself.
After that, the events with Asta not getting any hands, being confronted by Yami, and then getting to join the Black Bulls happened.
"Number 512, no hands. Thank you, this concludes the Magic Knights Entrance Exam." The arena clerk said as individuals started to funnel out of the arena.
