"A game of...checkers?" Responded Lazvis in bemusement.

"Mhm, but it's not that simple. It's also a drinking game...for every piece that we lose, we take a shot," I replied, taking out a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses and setting them down beside the board.

"Huh? Wait, doesn't that mean potentially upto twelve shots?"

"Yeah, that's right. The more drunk you get, the harder it'll be to think straight and strategize, so-...," I began to explain.
