Chapter 231: Who's the weird one among us?

"I can't afford to mess up the job my sweet wife gave me to do," Maxwell said and rested his back on the comfortable chair.

Jane watched him. What an oddball he was. And for such an oddball, he was very obedient to his wife. It was almost like he was subjected to doing everything she wanted without questions or complaints.

And he likes it that way… did he?

"Ugh." She shut her eyes. It was none of her business what they did as a couple or how they showed their love. All she could think of now was how she was going to surprise Daniel.

He was supposed to expect her in two days but she was returning earlier. Maybe she would give him a call at the door and tell him that she wouldn't be returning home anytime soon.

She giggled to herself and hugged the cushion she had carried along. The neck cushion was provided by the private service and although this was her first time riding first class, she didn't feel as excited as she thought she would be.
