Chapter 24: Second group stage match
Today will be the second match of this group. We will be playing against Sweden.
I will be in the starting eleven.
We will be playing in a 5-4-1
With me being left-back. Kimmich being right-back. The IVs are Süle(Sule), Hummels and Boateng.
The wingers are Sane and Reus. the central midfielders are Kroos and Özil, but Özil will often advance to the front to change it to a 5-1-3-1. And the striker is Werner.
We will be playing with defensive counterattack and in case we lose a goal we will play in a 3-5-1-1 formation with me being the 6 Kimmich and Kroos being the central midfielders. The wingers won't change and Özil will play in the shadow striker position but will be more of a 10 and a playmaker.
We will maybe do the same if the game drew because it would be very hard to qualify if we don't win, or in a situation when we shot the 1:0 and Sweden's defense isn't playing right to quickly shoot a 2:0 and hopefully secure the win.
Before the match, Löw told a motivating speech mentioning that we would be the ones to end the curse. It was the curse that since a few world cups, every World Cup winner would be kicked out in the group stage, but this was eventually broken by France in 2022.
The game started and the Swedes attacked with all their might. We were lucky that Ibrahimovic wasn't in their team anymore, because we might have gotten a goal if that had been the case.
In the 41st minute, there was suddenly an attack by them. He ran almost alone to the goal. Me and Jerome pressured him from both sides and somehow managed to take him down without a foul.
In the 44th minute, there was a situation from a corner. There IV Lindelöf almost made a header to make them take the lead.
Luckily soon after it was halftime.
After Halftime we switched to the 3-5-2.
We immediately began to play aggressively and had many good chances, but sadly nothing hit the goal net.
In the 65th minute, I was in the penalty area, made a body feint, and then tried to shoot a finesse. Sadly it only hit the goalpost.
The good news. I have gotten more and more confident in the time of the game and made more tricks like the elastico. I have used it two times to bring two sharp crosses in the penalty.
In the 93rd minute. I had three enemies surround me. I took the ball with my back to them. I took the ball on my left foot and lightly chipped it over me. I ran around and caught it again. Afterward, I was brought down by one of the Swedish defenders near me.
It was a foul. Free-kick. Not quite the angle to shoot a goal from. Suddenly I noticed that the position of this Free-kick was quite similar to Kroos's free-kick position that shot the 2:1 winner against Sweden in this match in my past life.
I didn't think much about it, but after Kroos somehow managed to shoot the ball into the net and we celebrated like crazy, I smiled.
Coincidence or destiny, I thought.
It didn't matter, because if it was destiny.
I would change it.
We celebrated together by imitating a plane as flying model planes was a big hobby of Kroos.
After the match, we went to party. Of course not too much as in a few days we would play the last group match against South Korea. It would decide if we would qualify for the Knockouts or not.

It is almost decided for sure that Germany will advance to the knockouts, but as there are a similar amount of comments for Finals and round of 16, if you take the comments into account, I will make it something like the round of 16 or quarter-finals, as it would be more realistic and the novel would be way to fast-paced if he was already that far in his career. Don't worry he will perform very well in the next European Cup and in the next World Cup.
Another question. Should I add Corona with no stadium viewers or just add them?
