Chapter 62: Last Champions League group match
Today will be our match against Gladbach. It will be a hard match. Gladbach isn't too good of a team but an enemy Bayern doesn't like.
After that, we will play against Tottenham for the last Champions League group match of this season.
The game against Gladbach soon started. Gladbach was once the dominant team with Bayern in the Bundesliga, but that was a long time ago.
The game soon started and we played as usual. Trying our first offenses we immediately knew that this would be a hard game as Gladbach defended us very seriously and well.

We were now completely outputting everything to our offense. This had a huge negative drawback as we soon got the 2:0. It was a counterattack from Gladbach through their two fast strikers Thuram and Plea.

In the end, another goal happened. It was after a free-kick. They crossed it into the penalty area and their offensive midfielder Stindl made it 3:1. The goal was checked because of offside. This gave us hope, but it all shattered after the goal was ruled as not offside.
After that, we couldn't organize any threatening attacks anymore and lost the game 3:1.
After this game, we played against Tottenham. Hansi told me that I would probably play only around 60 minutes if everything went well in the game. I agreed with him as the rest was pretty important.
Starting into the game we didn't let the start of the last game repeat and shot the 1:0 ourselves.
It was an assist from me. I found Davies running through Tottenham's defense and sent a scalpel-like pass through there. Now Davies was in a 1vs1 against Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris. I was worried, because "Phonzy", as I liked to call him wasn't good at shooting.
Luckily he kept calm this time and shot the ball beside Lloris to make it 1:0 for Bayern.
After that, I got a similar chance, but this time it was after a high ball from Kimmich. I decided to do a Christiano Ronaldo chop to trick the enemy defender. After doing that I shot to the upper left corner with all my might. It hit the goal right under the crossbar. Yes, I can do this kind of shot too. Although not being too proficient in it.
After that, it was half-time.
In the remaining 15 minutes I played nothing major happened anymore.
After I was substituted Coman was fouled in the penalty area and we were awarded a penalty. Lewandowski calmly shot it to the lower left corner and made it 3:0.
After that, we still got the 3:1 due to a beautiful duo combination from Son and Kane.
In the end, we won the game 3:1 and qualified for the round of 16 in a very dominant manner.
