A 12 year old boy can be seen standing barefoot in the middle of a pond, moving his arms in a swirling motion making the water under him churn.
Irano was training his water walking in a pond he created in the backyard of his home since he got tired of going back and forth between the nearest river and his house.
As he was swirling his arm he brought a stream of water out of the pond, spinning it around him, then he did the same with earth, fire, and air all spinning around him in a fluid motion like water. He continued like this for a while, training his chakra control and his multi-tasking for a few hours, until the sun went down finally releasing all of the elements in different directions.
Stepping out of the water Irano thinks to himself. 'I wonder who my new team will consist of I hope at least Naruto is in my team, We already know each others fighting styles. We are both top of the class and they just know we would kick ass together, Here's hoping.'

"Alright class great work, you really mastered all three academy jutsu, now I can officially congratulate you on becoming genin of the leaf village." Iruka says smiling to his students. "Now for your teams and jonin sensei."

Iruka then proceeded to list off the new genin teams for the next half hour until there was only 6 people left, Irano, Naruto, Sasuke, Moriyama, Sakura, and a civilian named Fujino.
In walked a fairly tall man of fair complexion. He had black eyes, under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with centre-parted bangs that extended to his chin.

"Itachi?!" Irano turns to see a wide eyed Sasuke staring towards the front of the class room. 'Itachi? So that must be Itachi uchiha, the child prodigy whoever has him is going to have a good start.'
As Irano has that thought in his mind Itachi calls out "Team 1 Irano Senju, Moriyama Yamanaka, Fujino Toshiyuki let's go." Making their way to a nearby training area Itachi spoke to them "Alright first we will introduce ourselves, our aspirations and our specialties."
"My name is Itachi Uchiha. I want to protect my family, loved ones and hope to prevent all future wars. My specialties are kenjitsu, ninjutsu, and genjutsu."
"I'm Irano Senju. I want to become the strongest there is and help my mother return home. My specialties are taijitsu, tracking and my own kekkei genkai."
"My name is Moriyama Yamanaka. I am going to become the strongest sword user in the world. My specialties are kenjutsu and ninjutsu."
"I am Fujino Toshiyuki. I wish to be a great ninja and maybe even the hokage one day. My specialties are genjutsu and ninjutsu."
Seeing that they are finished with their introductions Itachi starts again. "Good, now for the next part.... Survive." Before any of the three could think about what he said Irano gets kicked away. Before he smashes into a tree he digs his hands into the ground slowing his movement.
As that happens Itachi attacks Moriyama with his tanto but she is able to block it. After seeing Irano get sent flying she was ready for Itachi's next move. 'Good, but not perfect.' He thinks before disarming her and going in for a punch to put her out of the fight. But a wall of earth comes out of the ground blocking his punch.
'Hmm good situational awareness even though he is far from the fight.' Itachi thinks as he feels his back start to warm up. Jumping out of the way he sees that it was Fujino who sent the fireball he internally praises him on taking the opportunity while he was distracted.
As Itachi is in the air Irano brings water out of a waterskin he has on his hip, and attempts to wrap it around Itachi's foot but Itachi send out a fireball of his own evaporating the water then throwing a kunai through the smoke aimed at Irano.
As Itachi lands back on the ground Moriyama was waiting there for him with her sword at the ready. She swings multiple times, getting blocked by Itachi every time, in the middle of their fight Itachi heard someone call out. "Moriyama, Duck!"
As she ducks, Fujino behind her casts a genjutsu on Itachi but it doesn't work on him. Only for Itachi to cast a genjutsu of his own on Fujino taking him out of the fight. Moriyama then swings upward with her sword but Itachi dodged only getting a scratch on the corner of his forehead protector. He then kicks her back like he did with Irano only this time he chases after her.
Irano seeing that Fujino hasn't woken up from the genjutsu rushes over and places a hand on his unconscious form disrupting his chakra manually. Fujino jumps up startled looking slightly pale. 'Holy shit, that worked?!' Irano thinks to himself.
Shaking his head of his distracting thoughts he looks to Fujino seeing he is still shaken grabs his shoulder "Let's get back in the fight, Moriyama still needs us." After saying this he uses his air bending to rush at Itachi at high speeds, trying to hit him with a flying knee.
Itachi didn't expect Irano to come at him at such a high speed, so he crossed his arms blocking the attack. He then grabs Irano by the leg and throws him away, but Irano uses a burst of air to stop himself midair.
Landing back on the ground he uses earth bending to turn the ground beneath Itachi into mud, When he falls in Irano hardens the mud so he can't get out.
Just as Itachi is trapped Moriyama sending a wind jutsu and Fujino sends a fire jutsu at him, Both hitting him directly, creating a cloud of smoke.
"Did we get him?" Asked Fujino. "Probably not." Answered Moriyama. "Definitely not, he was holding back the whole time." Retorted Irano. Looking towards the smoke as it clears they can see Itachi is not there.
"Good work, you all pass."
