Chapter 6: 6. TIME TO GIVE A SPEECH
After following the muscular man for a while we got to a store room
*Click!*
The man opened the door for the both of us
"We're here, inside this room I'll show you a wonderful sight, one that you'll never forget."
'Even his pick up lines were horrible.' though I can't give a perfect pick up line, I know a good one when I see it.
When we got into the room I saw a truly horrible sight
"K-kate." Sophie called out
"I see them too." I replied
Right on the floor, they were three girls, without clothes and they seem to be dead
"Those girls are weak, but I know you two are pretty strong." the muscular man said shutting the door
"K-kate, I can't do this, I'm not ready to die." Sophie said, she was truly scared as the man began to undress
"Don't worry Sophie, I've got you." I said
'Time to test my new abilities' I thought
[Paralyzing blood slash]
I activated my skill releasing an invisible force that cut through the man's skin
*Arghhh!!* he shouted in pain
Outside the room
"Boss is so lucky, he's really strong so he gets to have all the pretty girls, he's probably having fun right now, I can already hear them scream." a skinny looking man said
"W-what are you doing." he said
"I'm not going to let you touch another female ever again."
"Hahahahahaha, you think that can stop me, I've evolved and I'm at level 2 so your attacks won't work on me." he said trying to move
"Ugh.... Why can't I move."
"This is your end." I said drawing out my large kitchen knife slashing at him vertically
*SPLURT*
I felt his warm blood caressing my face
"What do you think of that?" I asked Sophie who was still bewildered
".... K-kate.... what have you done, did you think of what was going to happen if the other survivors find out." Sophie said, she was visibly shaking with fear
"Oh yeah... I didn't really think of that." this was now a big problem, the leader had died now what would his followers do.
*Knock!* *Knock!*
A loud knock on the door was heard
"Boss are you ok, are they already dead, I knew they were weak." I heard a familiar voice
*Click!*
I opened the door slowly, stepping out with the kitchen knife stained with blood in my hand
"W-where's the boss, what did you do to him."
"I killed him." I replied while Sophie was clinging onto me tightly
"T-that's impossible, boss is the strongest man alive in this campus." Gary said running towards the man who was now deceased
"What did you do to him!" Gary shouted raising the alert of everyone in the building, some of them raised their makeshift weapons at us.
At the sight of everyone against us, Sophie got scared clinging onto me tightly
'Time to give a speech, this would be fun.' I thought
"I did it for the betterment of everyone in here." I said
"What do you mean betterment, boss was the only one who could protect us from the zombies we owed him our lives." Gary said
"Do you really need someone like him, aren't you all stressed out already by the apocalypse, we need to help each other not fear each other. He needed to die for all of us to live." I said turning at the large crowd of survivors who had gathered at the scene
"We could train and grow stronger, we need not be afraid of a single man we need to become bold and courageous if not how are we going to face the zombie apocalypse out there, this is a freaking apocalypse, we don't have to depend on one person to save our lives when we could do it ourselves, we don't need to sacrifice our dignity for the protection of a pervert, now that I'm here I can guide you, train you to be elites, teach you how to face those zombies out there, we've lost a lot of lives already we don't need to lose anymore.... If you would allow me I could show you how to evolve, I can show you how to get stronger so in the future you'll be able to protect yourself..... That is if you would allow me." I concluded my speech, thinking of how awesome I am at this, and coupled with my good looks and perfect body this was a full proof plan
Suddenly the people who raised their makeshift weapons at us started lowering them and everyone had been encouraged by me, I could see the determination in their eyes
"Cut the crap, how can a girl lead us!" Gary said pulling out a small pocketknife from his pocket and his Target was Sophie

*Arghhh!!* Gary screamed in pain as an invisible force cut through his skin
"I-i can't move." Gary tried to move but couldn't
"Don't sweat it, even if you tried a million times, you won't be able to move from that spot. We need to stay together to survive this apocalypse, this is not a time to fight or argue about anything... And anyone who is an obstruction to unity... Needs to be out of the picture." I said with a cold look on my face, raising my kitchen knife to the air
"No, wait, I can change, I will change, please spare..."
*SPLURT*
And again another man's blood was plastered on my face, I shifted my gaze towards the people who now looked like they were all scared of me
"Oh, don't worry about him, he too needed to go, we can't have a mole among us can we." I said with a smile
"You're really good at this Kate, and here I was thinking of switching sides." Sophie siad as she regained herself
"What, so that was your backup plan."
"But i didn't have to use it, hehehe... For now." Sophie said with a very weird smile that sent shivers down my spine
'for some reason, I find this girl creepy, very creepy.'
"With that gone we need to decide a plan for our survival." I said
