Chapter 2: Chapter Two
Years later
The twin daughters of Min-ho had grown up into charming and bold young women. Yeol-wool as charming like the summer breeze and calm like the peaceful water giving people a comforting feeling, as one of the most beautiful fairy in Tamra thanks to her parents features, she's always seen with a silk transparent veil covering her face leaving just her eyes adding a hint of mystery to herself, with eyes as pure as a child it draws your very soul making you feel like taking off the veil to see the beauty underneath and at the same time making you wonder if you are worthy to get close.
Chungjo on the other hand, grew up to be as bold and daring as the dragon she is making all who hear her name slightly shudder, at the same time it made the men want to conquer her, after all, she too is quite the eye candy.
Today just like every other day, Yeol-wool is once again all by herself, her mother had gone to attend to her fairy duties, father is an official at the royal court and sister, well for as long as she can remember they don't speak to each other. So rather than staying home surrounded by maids and knights, she decided to pay a visit to the river, and she had the intention of going alone. After all it's Tamra, what could go wrong. So she used her affinity with the plants to cover her track while she sneaks out of the house.
At the same time, today was one of those days chungjo decided to come back early, maybe it's because she's been trained in martial arts since young, she was more sensitive and sharp than others or maybe it's because they shared a womb but she noticed her sister who everyone claimed to be obedient sneaking out the house, she was intrigued and decided to follow behind her while dismissing her guard.
In the forest,
Yeol-wool, " finally a breath of fresh air"(giggles)
Somewhere not too far nor too close
Chungjo..(rolls her eyes)
Yeol-wool who rarely finds herself out alone had finally realized she had lost her way after walking in circles for a while. (speechless, scratches her head) I seem to have lost my way but how can this be (she asks herself) was Tamra always this big...(sighs in disappointment, sits under a big tree) I'll just wait for someone to pass by,(with complicated eyes) someone will pass by right?
Chungjo(stares at her sister speechlessly, and thought back on her own foolish decision to follow her to find out what she was up to). After contemplating for a while, she decided to walk up to her and ask her what she was up doing when she sensed a very deep malice in the air,(sensing danger approaching, she decided to walk up to her sister and inform her of the coming danger when suddenly she stops. (Internal conversation)"what am doing? isn't this what I've always wanted so why am I heading over to warn her, besides no one knows am here with her(takes one last look at her sister, smirks and runs off).
Meanwhile, unaware of the coming danger Yeol-wool who had been waiting for anybody to walk pass her to no avail has fallen asleep, using the big tree to shade herself from the sun.
Deep inside the forest, a mad(possessed)bull, the size of a weight-lifter is seen running towards path the island creature takes to the stream, which of course was not far off where Yeol-wool sleeps. Not too far from the beast, two men can be seen chasing after the wild animal.
Son-wook; "Joon-ha hyung, take the left I'll take the right".
Joon-ha; " don't make any rash decision, you're already losing strength, just follow my lead if I yell attack, then we'll both give it our all"(they looked at each other, strangely they were just friends but they had a tacit understanding)
Son-wook(looks ahead, screams in shock) "fuck is that human or ghost"
Meanwhile, our Yeol-wool finally wakes up after having an undersettling feeling, turning towards her right, she only sees the rising dust and red maniacal eyes coming close to her(turns completely pale) before she could get up, Son-wook screams, "fuck it's alive". Joon-ha rushes ahead with the powers he had been saving up, overtakes the bull, goes straight to Yeol-wool who's knees were to weak from fright to get up and picks her up, due to the added weight on him and his slowly losing strength, coupled with the fact that the bull was closing in on them, he made a drastic decision and threw the already frightened Yeol-wool far-off while making sure she'll be landing straight into the river but he forgot one thing not only did he not confirm if she could swim due to the emerging danger, he also forgot she was still in a frightened state.
In the water, Yeol-wool could feel herself sinking in, she struggled to move but her feet failed her, the water was glistening due to the sun and unlike any other day she did not have the luxury of enjoying this sight, she could feel her life slipping away, she tried to scream for help but even her mouth failed her.
