Chapter 3: how can I trust you?

The next day the case was brought to the court and every evidence presented showed that Savi is a murderer and due to the money the dev family has they made sure there is no chance of any defense for Savi

" Accused Savi Alison, do you have anything to say before the sentence is pronounced"  asked judge

Savi, who for all that time her eyes were on Dev

"Yes, I have something to say" answered Savi while still  looking at her husband who didn't seem to care at all

"Dev, do you really believe that I killed your brother?" asked Savi very sadly, wishing her husband would trust her even for one percent

"You have killed my brother, there is no discussion" replied dev "If there is nothing else, the judge can continue"

The judge continued and handed down a sentence of life imprisonment and  police took Savi who was like a person who did not know what was going on, feeling that it was a dream and wishing to wake up very quickly

....

Outside the court, Ethan was watching from afar when Savi was taken to the prison car, he clenched his fists very angrily while his eyes changed color with anger and rage

"Ethan, I think we have to leave here," said Denis

Ethan got into the car and leaned on the seat and closed his eyes as he muttered to himself

'I'll make sure I get you out of prison, I'm sorry I failed to protect you earlier, Savi'

Life in prison was very difficult for Savi.

three weeks have passed since she entered the prison, while she was in the cell at night, a middle aged woman entered in the cell,  who  appeared to be very confident

"What, do you think miracles will happen to you and return home"

asked the woman while sitting next to Savi. It was very strange for this mother to talk to Savi because she was always a very quiet person despite being in the same room as Savi

"Are you wondering why I talked to you" asked the woman while laughing a little but Savi nodded her head in a yes sign

"My name is Laila, today I heard other prisoners talking about you"

"Why?  do you feel bad sleeping in the Same room with a murderer?" Savi asked while looking at Ms. Leila

"It's not true, because what happened to you is the same as Me" said Ms Leila

"Were you framed too?" Savi asked very eagerly

"That's right, don't consider yourself to be very unlucky because everyone goes through different challenges, this world is full of people with animal behavior" said Ms. Leila while smiling

"No, I can't stay here, I can't stay silent, I have to prove that I'm not guilty" said Savi very emphatically

"And how are you going to prove it?" He asked Mrs. Leila while she continued to smile "you know, we poor people can't do anything to those rich ones"said Ms Leila

"I believe I will find a way to prove it" Still Savi did not show despair

"I can help you escape from here if you want" suddenly Mrs. Leila said something that Savi didn't expect

"What do you say??" Savi felt like she  heard wrong

"I said what you heard" replied Mrs. Leila

"How can I trust you? What if you have a bad motive?"
