Chapter 15: The School best friend

Mabel was popularly known as Kaykay and was among the top tier 3 escorts. She was a beautiful woman in her early thirties, she had the charms of an independent and fierce lady. Vanessa and Brandy were told Mabel's real name because their contract prohibited them from exposing the true identity of any escort.

Kelsey took Vanessa and Brandy out for barbecue where they chatted about their new job, and she gave them some advice. Kelsey also explained the 3 tiers of family fantasy escort.

Tier 3 is the highest paid, they handle unique requests as long as the escort is okay with it. They can be booked for an entire trip abroad for weeks, and this is the reason they are difficult to book unless you pre-book ahead of time. Vanessa had an SMS notification on the way home notifying her, that she was credited 500 dollars as her signing bonus which made her very excited. She also had a WhatsApp message from Sinclair.

Sinclair: How about I treat out for a meal when you are free to celebrate your new job?

Vanessa: I am fine with that as long as I am not splitting the bill (moon face emoji)

Sinclair: still very stingy, you cannot even buy your best friend food. No problem, the bills would be on me (laughing emoji)

Vanessa went offline. When she got home, she was not surprised to find Cynthia absent. Vanessa was in a good mood because she had a new job and had eaten enough barbecue for free. "Nothing tastes better than free food." She laughed out loud.

After changing into comfy clothes, Vanessa immediately sent 300 dollars to Aunty Karissa for her to add up to pay for her medical expenses and also sent Aunty Karissa a text message informing her.

Vanessa took out her laptop from her backpack she took out today and immediately downloaded the Family Fantasy app and logged in to her account.

Her pseudonym was Lilac Davison. She chose that name because of her violet eyes since lilac flowers are purple and Davison because it was her mother's maiden name, that way she would never forget the name Lilac Davison.

Vanessa wanted to look different in her profile, she used a picture where she was wearing a chocolate brown wig and her eyes were without her normal blue contact lens. There is no way anyone would guess that her eyes were purple and that she was not using purple contacts.

After going through her profile, she was satisfied with the set-up. She checked her booking and was happy to find out she already had a booking request. It was from a lady, requesting to hang out in the mall, specifying the date, time, and location. Since it was on Saturday, Vanessa accepted the request.

She was already making the little step to meeting her target. A cute smile was formed on Vanessa's face.

Before Sinclair texted Vanessa he had already resolved the issue at the restaurant. Earlier, after calling his driver to pick him up, he headed straight to the restaurant to find out what happened that warranted Vanessa to be fired.

The manager was surprised that his young master decided to visit the restaurant because Sinclair was not interested in how the restaurant was ran since it was one of the numerous five-star restaurants owned by his family, but the manager still formally welcomed him and led him to his office because Sinclair indicated he was not here for a meal.

The manager was fidgeting because he had a feeling this had to do with Vanessa, who he had to lay off to resolve the crisis with the customer that faithful night. There was no way he would have let them go to court, which in turn even though the establishment won the case he had a large chance of losing his job.

He was well-informed that Vanessa was recommended by Sinclair, but he did not think much about their relationship since Sinclair was a jovial guy and loved helping people, so he assumed that Vanessa was just a random person his young master decided to help.

When Sinclair sat down across the manager, he was emitting so much pressure which was unlike his personality. This scared the manager because he had never seen his young master this pissed. Before he had this appointment here, he had worked directly under Sinclair's family, so he had a rough idea of Sinclair's personality.

" I can see you are comfortable in that seat, you feel it can do whatever you feel is right." Sinclair sneered. The manager felt shivers run through his veins. Even though Sinclair did not have a management position at the main company, he had enough power to take away his job.

" Sir, I just do my best to run this place to the best of my abilities." The manager stated he was being careful with his words not to provoke Sinclair.

" Why did you terminate Vanessa's employment?" Sinclair went straight to the point, he did not like beating around the bush. The manager swallowed his saliva, his intuition was right, this had to do with Miss Clarkson, he had no idea what her relationship was with his young master. The manager knew he had to spill the beans exactly how it happened because changing the details or wasting time would not help him because there was a large possibility Sinclair already knew what happened, he just wanted to hear it from his mouth directly.

After Sinclair heard the manager's account of the incident, it was not too different from what he heard from another staff, who he asked to keep an eye on Vanessa while she was working there.

The incident was not Vanessa's fault but the ill-mannered novel rich lady's. There might even be a possibility this was all planned just to get money from the restaurant. The manager claimed he agreed a settle outside court because he did not want the matter to get out of hand and damage the restaurant's name. The only problem Sinclair had was that Vanessa was treated very poorly, she was slapped and abused when she did nothing wrong and then fired afterward without a single penny given to her.

Carefully considering the situation, Vanessa has every right to sue both parties. Just thinking of the Injustice Vanessa had faced, Sinclair felt his heart squeezing in pain because he was the one who gave her the Job. What hurt him the most was that she never complained about it to him. Maybe because she would rather not sound ungrateful.

" Pay Vanessa her three months salary advance which would have been given to her for being laid off, and also some bonus for any grievance she might have suffered. If you do not want the restaurant to be sued by Vanessa." Sinclair Instructed the manager with no room for excuse. He stood, displaying his towering height of over 6fts. Even though the manager was over ten years older than Sinclair, he felt subdued under his height and piercing gaze.

" Also, you would be reassigned to a lower position at another establishment so that you will not make this kind of error again."Sinclair's cold voice stated before exiting the office. The manager collapsed on his seat he did not believe he just gotten demoted, at least it was better than losing his job.
