Chapter 11: Collecting Payment
"Woof!" A scene that would leave anyone shocked was currently playing out before Alex. The world's greatest powers were on all for, barking like dogs before Alex. Alex nodded slightly in approval at this.
"Go ahead and roll over," Alex said, causing all of them to quickly roll over at his wishes. Alex nodded in approval at this. to think it would have only taken a whole night's worth of training to make them all be good dogs.
"Today is Sunday. I have no time to stay with you all... get ready to return home. my clone shall come with you all to see if you all have something I consider useful. thats payment for getting on my nerves." I said calmly, leaving behind clones for each person, who would follow them to get the stuff.
So, Alex hopped into his car and drove off. That day nothing else happened, Rin's father was given a few more minutes to live, he was under a genjutsu and was currently under my complete control. once he gives Riki everything, he shall drop dead.
Alex wasn't normally so cold-hearted, but when it came to dealing with cultivators, he knew damn well if he didn't steel his heart to be cold-hearted, he would only be shooting himself in the foot.
later that day, within Japan. Alex stood next to a beautiful Japanese woman, who was handing me a shield and sword. this was the Yata Mirror and the Sword of Totsuka. the Yata Mirror had the power to block all attacks, and even absorb the energy of all attacks, once absorbed it would be sent back in the form of a powerful beam.
the sword of Totsuka was a sword that could seal away all that it cuts. these two weapons had no physical form, but at this moment they were sealed away. due to the lack of Qi, they had lost their power, and to protect the weapons they were sealed away.
"there you go..." The beautiful woman said softly, of course, these two weapons were not under the hand of one clan. instead, 4 of Japan's best clans owned them. but they had all given to them to me.
"Good... now go ahead." My clone said calmly, adding up all of the treasures they had stored up. such as Susanoo's armor, Amaterasu's sun staff, Kamui's Necklace, and many others. Of course, I didn't take everything, just those I cared to take. the beautiful woman nodded her head stiffly, not daring to overspeak.
I ignored her and disappeared, heading towards my main body. meanwhile, in Greek. My clone stood before 5 people, looking at a bunch of destroyed treasures. among them was Zeus' lightning bolt, Hades bident, Posedeion trident, and many other such things. among them, were even those I didn't know well, such as Ares spear, Apollo shoes, and many other things.
"is everything to your liking?" A greek woman asked with a shaky smile, I couldn't help but question why only females of each region were giving me the treasures. it seems like the others were pushing them to do so, it seems they have noticed I had a heart for the beauty. but I just nodded, trying my best to ignore her beauty before teleporting to my main body.
In England, Alex calmly took the treasures from a beautiful blonde-haired beauty. the same woman I had slapped into a pig head, yet at this moment she had recovered, although the injuries had yet to fully disappear.
Among the treasures I got my hands on were, Excalibur, Galatine, Merlin staff, and many other treasures.
"You recover fast... and think fast. As of this moment you hold supreme power over England." I said calmly while looking at her, stunning her. this young woman was King Arthur's descendant. with how her hair almost glowed a beautiful golden glow, it could be seen that she carried King Arthur's pure blood.
"T-thank you." She said softly while lowering her head slightly. I said nothing else and disappeared.
In the United States, another clone stood, taking the countless treasures the U.S. held. The United States had many things. from Thor's hammer, Horn of Apocalypse, Odin's Eye patch, along with many other things.
"Sir Alex, I hope that everything is to your liking." A middle-aged man said with a fearful smile, making me calmly look at him slightly, causing him to shake in fear. I looked around at the 7 other level 3 body tempering realm cultivators.
"Get greedy, and next time I will lock you all in a room, and leave you to endure that torture," I said calmly, before teleporting out of there, leaving all of their heart to drop. the greed of the government... well, I didn't trust them.
In Rome, Alex stood before the real pope, who was currently giving me many treasures which was weirding Alex out. such as nails which were used to nail someone, ropes which were used to tie someone, a throne crown, The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse weapons, all but one which was in the United States, and many others.
The nails had the power to hold all things. the ropes had the power to seal all things, and the throne had the power to give one enlightenment. As a former Christian, these items weirded me out. I also found out Thor's hammer was used along with the nails here, it's how they got their powers.
I also learned from the Pope that the person these items were used on was a son of heaven. this is why his blood leads to so many treasures gaining special abilities.
In China, a beautiful woman handed Alex's clones a bunch of weapons. Among them were Green Dragon Crescent Blade, Ruyi Jingu Bang, Houyi Bow, along with many other treasures.
I nodded at them, I was about to teleport away... but I paused. far away, I felt something. it was like something dangerous was awakening. It awakened when I was about to teleport, I tried to teleport once more to make sure, and with that, I felt the awakening growing bigger.
"I see... the fate of these weapons has been glued to this land, who would be awakening if I wanted to take them away?" I asked calmly, stunning the 6 level 3 body tempering realm cultivator,
"Qin Shi Huang?" the beautiful woman said in a questioning tone. my eyebrow raised slightly, wasn't this the first emperor of China? I think I remembered something about his death,
"If I'm not wrong, a rock fell from the sky and killed him?" I asked trying to remember what I knew about this first emperor of China. at my words, everyone in the room's lips twitched, but they quickly explained.
In 211 BC a large meteor is said to have fallen in Dongjun in the lower reaches of the Yellow River, and someone inscribed the seditious words "The First Emperor will die and his land will be divided"
The Emperor sent an imperial secretary to investigate this prophecy. No one would confess to the deed, so all living nearby were put to death, and the stone was pulverized. During his fifth tour of Eastern China, the Emperor became seriously ill in Pingyuanjin and died in July or August 210 BC at the palace in Shaqiu prefecture,
"adding that it's over 8,000 people... it should be him," I said while looking towards the Emperor's grave. a portal suddenly exploded to life, and from the portal, stone warriors appeared. the building I was within was destroyed by their aura, allowing over 8,000 stone soldiers to appear before me.
There were more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots with 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses. each holding power at level 3 body tempering. after all, appeared, a large man stepped out, coldly glaring at me. he was covered in stone, he had a hint of the first emperor's soul.
"who dare to destroy my empire?" The first emperor said coldly, his eyes not leaving me, his eyes narrowing colder while looking at the treasures behind me. by now, I had already learned Chinese, and seeing people speaking it, I was able to learn it.
"Before we fight... what do you mean by destroy?" I asked calmly,
"Those treasures are the keystone of the faith of my empire, you dare to rob from me?" He roared in rage. I looked at the treasures for a moment, before nodding slightly.
"So... you want the faith of China to remain... adding your actions, i'm guessing you knew your death was near. what are your plans? the fact you're not attacking shows you have some unease. I also see you're strength is heavily suppressed, so I guess you're running on some kind of power source you don't want to waste. I guess you had thought you were coming here to face an army, but you didn't realize it was just one person." I said calmly, making the first emperor's eyes be filled with killing intent.
He pointed forward, sending one warrior to attack me. why waste his army power when one is more than enough? but to his shock, my arm shot forward, destroying the stone warrior with one hand.
"cute... it's clear after thousands of years, you're weak. just one punch is enough to defeat them. instead of wasting your power, I rather not make an enemy out of a mighty conquer like yourself." I said with a smile, the first emperor glared at me, but when I teleported to the side, the first emperor froze.
"Good, now you know I can leave whenever I want," I said with a smile, the first emperor gritted his teeth for a moment, before pointing at the treasure
"give me the treasures first." the first emperor said coldly, to which I shook my head slightly. I looked at the treasures which were being held by Blue, before looking back towards the first emperor.
"Give me a reason. I have no reason to fear you, I have the upper hand here. if I wanted, I could leave. I take the treasures and your plans are destroyed." I said calmly, making the First Emperor take a deep breath to calm himself down as I was telling the truth.
"Fine... I need the fate of my empire to not disappear." the first emperor said calmly, to which I rolled my eyes slightly.
"thats not new news. but I will go first and be honest. I will destroy all of these to create something to empower myself. so, thats why I came to get them." I said with a smile, making the first emperor's face darken.
"Okay... I wish to bring my beloved son to life," the first emperor said with a defeated look, i nodded slightly before speaking
"So, you want to come back to life. I don't mind to help you. but what is in it for me?" I asked making the first emperor's lips twitch. indeed, it was he who would be coming back to life, not his son.
"knowledge. I'm sure many of that was lost over the thousands of years. cultivation arts, information on how to create the best of pills, and many others." He said making me rub my chin slightly, before shaking my head.
"I could care less for them, but the cultivation art might be useful. but I don't trust cultivators," I said making the first emperor secretly curse.
"how about you seal off part of your mind, and only allow me to look into your mind to read what you want me to see," I said calmly, making the first emperor's eyes narrow slightly. I rolled my eyes at him,
"I have no cultivation, i'm sure you're something like a soul cultivator. so what could I do to you?" I asked with a shake of my head.
"No... that would work." the first emperor said, stunning me slightly. he looked deeply at me, before nodding at me to walk up to him. In his eyes, to search his soul Alex would need to place his palm upon his head... a good opening.
"Okay, I don't know how to do it. what do I do?" I asked while I stepped forward. the first emperor was left speechless. he looked at me for a moment, not understanding how could I come up with a plan.
Sighing, he went on to tell me what to do. he told me to place my palm onto his forward and send my mental eye into his head. I nodded, while the first emperor looked at my eyes carefully, on guard against anything I could do...
"good," I said while seeing the eyes of the first emperor transforming, taking on the same pattern of my eyes. the first emperor was kind enough to let down his guard, the guy was foolish enough to look me straight in the eyes, and even weaken his mind to allow it easier for me to control the guy. Honestly... this was too easy.
"before you break free, give me everything you know. all your knowledge." I said calmly while still locking eyes with the first emperor. the first emperor reached out, touching my head and sending information into my mind. it took a few minutes, but soon I got everything needed,
"..." I went through the countless of information, instantly mastering all of the techniques, art, and so on. At that moment, I became a master of blacksmith, alchemy, and cultivation. I even gained a bunch of fist, palm, and movement techniques.
"Beautiful," I said while cracking my neck, I could feel my bones, muscles, and flesh evolving. some martial arts techniques would strengthen you upon mastering them. I gained the benefits of thousands of techniques in an instant, although I would need to cultivate if I wished to gain the benefit of any cultivation art.
"W-what? you bastard, you dare!" Enrage, the first emperor glared at me after breaking free from his genjutsu. I rolled my eyes slightly,
"when dealing with cultivators, you have to be ready to be backstabbed by them at any moment... so why not backstab them first to save yourself the trouble?" I said with a smile while turning around to leave. the first emperor moved to attack, but I turned around while sending a palm flying forward.
from that palm, starting from my arm, a huge dragon came flying forward, slamming into the first emperor and destroying him. I landed smoothly on the ground while nodding my head slightly.
'I would have needed all 3 energy to be fused to destroy it... but since I got those martial arts... haha. curse energy is enough.' I thought while turning around and walking off without saying anything else. the first emperor's stone body was the hardest and strongest out of the stone warriors. When he was within my genjutsu, I had also cut the connection from the stone warriors.
I threw a look towards the 6 level 3 cultivators who were at the side, not daring to step forward. I ignored them and used blue to pull the thoughts of stone warriors with me,
I went on to disappear, teleporting away. meanwhile, my clones all over the world got all of the treasures, bringing them all to my main body.
within my mansion, I sat on a balcony while overlooking the view of Hope's siblings playing on the beach.
"well... let's become the richest and rule the earth," I said with a gentle smile. My goal from the start was to rule the earth. but it was not limited to Earth and went beyond the sky. it's the whole universe and I plan to have a complete hold on this universe's wealth. so a slow build-up to such gains was needed, and I will have my friends by my side...
What Alex didn't know, his actions had a huge effect. taking the treasures from all over the world, which were licked to the faith of billions caused huge ripples. things that should have happened years into the future started happening sooner than one expected. fate began to start turning
"What a weird phone..." A young man said while looking at a weird phone on the ground which had a strange fatback. it was almost like those old TV...
