Chapter 83: Meeting him [83]

Kenzo's eyes snapped open, and as his consciousness reasserted itself, he found himself back in the familiar confines of his room. The soft glow of dawn filtered through the curtains, casting a warm embrace on the walls. The battle-scarred battlefield, the impending doom, and the cruel mockery of the Frost Monarch all faded away like a fleeting nightmare.

He lay there, his body feeling surprisingly intact, the wounds and pain mere echoes of a distant memory. The intensity in his eyes, however, remained, a silent testament to the vivid experiences he had just lived through.

Confusion gripped Kenzo as he glanced around the room, a lingering sense of disorientation clouding his thoughts. Was it all a dream, a vision, or something more elusive? The echoes of the battle still resonated within him, the emotions and determination fresh in his mind.

As Kenzo tried to make sense of this surreal return to his starting point, a lingering question danced at the edge of his consciousness: What did this journey through the shadows reveal, and what choices lay ahead in the wake of such vivid visions? The room, now bathed in the gentle morning light, held the answer to mysteries that transcended the boundaries of reality and dreams.

The realization slowly dawned on Kenzo—this return to his room was more than a mere memory or a dream. It seemed as though he had been granted a second chance, a reset button pressed on the tumultuous events that unfolded in the shadowy realm.

A sense of gratitude and determination welled up within him. It was as if fate had granted him the opportunity to rewrite the course of his destiny, to learn from the trials he faced in that shadowy battlefield. The scars and wounds that had marked his previous encounter were replaced with a renewed sense of purpose.

With a steely resolve, Kenzo understood that this second chance wasn't just a reprieve; it was an invitation to approach the challenges ahead with newfound wisdom and strength. The room, once a starting point, now held the promise of a different journey—one where the shadows of the past could be reshaped into a brighter future.

Kenzo then realized that his stats were the same as when he had died by the hand of the frost monarch.

All his stuff was there...he doesnt want this...he want to be sent back to the battlefield as this place felt more like an illusion then a second chances,he just could feel it in his bones.

Kenzo just decided to ignore it for now,he lost because he was to weak,he refuse to think that he lost because of Igris,he would have done the same in any universe,he didnt want Igris to die like this.

It might be weird coming from him but he was attached to his shadow soldier,cut him some slacks,they were quite nice and he even considered some of them his friends so he didnt want to lose Igris.

Basically his first ever shadow soldier,his right hand man and the shadow soldier he trusted the most,the person that thought him swordmanship and his stronguest knight.

He would rebuilt his army and get Igris back,he would build an army stronguer than ever and beat those bastards.

Time skip

As thing went according to how they went previously,everything followed his knowledge,his first meeting with Gojo,his first fight with the king of curse and so on but the more time pass the more something started to bother him.

This weird notification saying

{Would you like to restart the world}

{Y/N}

Kenzo choose to ignore it everytime that he saw it but it was starting to bother him alot

It would show alot,he would see it alot,like when he first met Maki,defending her,the date and the fight with Gojo,he would see that notification alot.

But he decided to ignore it as he could feel something else following after him.

Kenzo's voice cut through the air, his frustration evident as he addressed an unseen presence that seemed to linger around him. His hand casually rested in his pocket, a nonchalant gesture that contrasted with the tension in the atmosphere.

"Cut it out, will you? I have felt you following for a while now," he declared, his gaze fixed on what appeared to be an empty space. The air seemed to crackle with an unspoken challenge, the silence pregnant with anticipation.

"Stop the illusion and show yourself!" Kenzo's voice rang out, a demand that echoed through the unseen layers of reality. In response to his command, the surroundings shifted, transforming into something entirely different.

The once-empty space now revealed a new scene, unveiling the hidden presence that had been observing Kenzo.

As the illusion dissipated, the truth beneath the surface began to emerge. Kenzo, unfazed and ready for whatever revelation awaited him, stared into the altered reality, his eyes piercing through the veil of deception. The confrontation had just begun, and the mysterious entity was now forced to step into the light and face the scrutiny of Kenzo's unwavering gaze.

Kenzo was surrounded by the notification but he ignored them and continued to look where he felt the person was.

The figure, emanating an imposing presence, continued to approach Kenzo, each step echoing with an otherworldly weight. Kenzo's gaze narrowed as he attempted to unravel the mystery shrouding this enigmatic being.

"Who are you? Are you the king of the dead?" Kenzo's inquiry cut through the air, a bold question thrown into the midst of uncertainty. The figure, with its massive frame, glowing purple hair, eyes ablaze with an ethereal flame, and the ominous ensemble of armor and cloak, bore the hallmarks of a formidable and regal entity.

The air around them seemed charged with an ancient energy as the figure stopped, its imposing stature casting a shadow over the scene. In response to Kenzo's inquiry, a deep, resonant voice emerged from beneath the cloak, carrying an air of authority.
