Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Is Everyone Discriminating Against Short People?
[After a short interlude, you and Alexandra continue the previous conversation.]

"Since childhood, Sirin and I were kidnapped by human traffickers. We only managed to escape now." Chase said, showing a hint of fear and concern in his eyes.
Alexandra believed it. Whether it was the obviously malnourished bodies of Chase and Sirin, the numerous needle marks on their arms, or the bruises that had not yet disappeared, it was easy to be convinced.
She even imagined how the two children suffered from the traffickers and miraculously escaped under difficult circumstances.
Alexandra's gaze towards them became softer.
"What are your plans next?" she asked.
Chase thought for a moment and said, "We plan to seek refuge with relatives."
His plan was to find Welt Yang, but he currently had no clues on how to locate him. He could only take it one step at a time and see if he could find him.

"Is there anything I can help with?" she asked.
"No, it's not necessary," Chase shook his head, politely refusing her kindness.

So, Chase patted Sirin, who was still eating bread, and thanked Alexandra, "Thank you for your hospitality. We need to leave now."

"So soon? Why not rest for a day?" Alexandra suggested.
"Thank you for your kindness, but we do need to leave." Chase shook his head, stood up, and Sirin also stood up, bowing to Alexandra with her reddened face.
So, Chase and Sirin prepared to set off again, but before leaving, they were stopped.
"It's cold outside, wear the coats." Alexandra came over with two coats and some food.
"Take these foods as well."
"Thank you." Chase didn't hesitate, taking the coats and food and bowing again.
"Aunt Alexandra, if someone comes asking about us, just tell the truth."
She smiled, nodded, and watched the two children leave.
Shortly after Chase and Sirin left, two unwelcome guests arrived at Alexandra's home.
Alexandra was not surprised, as Chase's last sentence had already warned her.
She greeted the two people, one tall and one short, with white hair. The tall one introduced himself as Patricia, with short hair, currently asking her about information regarding Chase and Sirin.
"So, you're saying they used the medical kit in your house, ate something, and left a long time ago?" Patricia asked.
"Yes, Lady Patricia," Alexandra nodded, "but I have a question."
"What?"
"Can your organization bring family members on duty? I saw that Lady Theresa is with you."
"I see. Well, don't mind Theresa; she's now my boss," Patricia laughed. She didn't like the fact that Theresa was being discriminated against because of her height.
"Really? I didn't realize your boss was so young," Alexandra continued.
This is saying I look so young?! It's all because of my height?!

"Haha, don't mind Lady Theresa's appearance. She's already my superior," Patricia said, glancing at Theresa. Knowing Theresa's struggles due to her height, she felt annoyed.
"Is that so? I really couldn't tell. Your superior looks so young," Alexandra continued.
Is she calling me small?!

"Patricia, let's go. The information we need has been enough," Theresa stood up without drinking the water on the table, angrily leaving the room.
"Hey, Theresa, wait for me. I'll be right there," Patricia hurriedly replied.
"Target has already left..."
"Patricia, it's not over yet, right?" came Theresa's voice from outside.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Patricia hastily replied and followed.
The target was just two kids; they couldn't have gone far. Since they had the general information, capturing them wouldn't be difficult.
Alexandra silently watched Patricia's retreating figure and instinctively placed her right hand on her stomach, revealing a gentle smile.
She thought of the two children who had left not long ago and silently prayed for their safety.
She knew that these two children might have gotten themselves into a big trouble, and she understood that Chase's refusal was to protect her.
She looked at her own stomach, fantasizing about the day when her child would be born.
She really hoped that this child could also have the calmness of the older brother and the cuteness of the younger sister from the pair she had met earlier...

At the same time, somewhere in Siberia, Welt Yang stood on the snowy field, observing the distance.
"The news has come. [She] has left that small town, and we are currently investigating [her] whereabouts," Einstein approached and informed Welt Yang.
