Chapter 74: Chapter 74: Fly Directly to the Boss!

After returning to the Upper Zone, Bronya immediately went to the HQ Castle.

Having learned the true situation of the Lower Zone, Bronya was now clear about Cocolia's wrong decisions.

If the previous Bronya only had doubts about Cocolia's decisions, which could still be obscured by Cocolia's vague reasons, the current Bronya would not evade anymore.

"Why send the Silvermane Guards to their deaths in the Corridor of Fading Echoes? Why abandon the people of the Lower Zone—why change your mind at that critical moment?" Ignoring Cocolia's increasingly cold gaze, Bronya dared to challenge her mother's authority for the first time, using the facts she saw to question her.

Bronya felt confused. When she first returned to Castle, Cocolia saw her with concern and warmth in her eyes, unable to hide her worry. She even asked about her well-being.

However, after mentioning the Lower Zone, Cocolia's attitude instantly changed, a complete about-face. This made Bronya more convinced of her own speculation.

[Stellaron]... has bewitched my mother.

Looking at the familiar yet unfamiliar Cocolia in front of her, a sense of powerlessness suddenly rose in Bronya's heart. Nevertheless, she still asked the question in her heart calmly.

"Do you want to know the reasons that drove me to give those orders... right?" Cocolia descended from the high platform, walking slowly to Bronya. Her gaze was filled with indifference. "Do you think you're ready to face the truth?"

Bronya's gaze was firm. "Yes, I'm ready."

She had made up her mind. Some things could only be done alone, and some paths could only be walked alone.

Bronya had already prepared herself to face the truth.

...

Meanwhile, at the Neverwinter Workshop, after Stella and the others had finished negotiating with Serval, Chase approached and said, "We don't need to traverse the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone and the Corridor of Fading Echoes on the ground."

"What?" Everyone, except Welt and Bella, looked at Chase with puzzled expressions.

Not going on the ground, were they flying?

Dan Heng, in particular, took a moment to react, instantly realizing and looking at Bella with gray hair and smug grin, asking, "Do you mean..."

Are we flying there on a dragon? Dan Heng didn't finish his sentence because Chase interrupted him in advance.

"Yeah, Bella is perfectly fine with it, and she has no objections." Chase nodded, casting an approving look at Dan Heng.

It's no wonder the train trio didn't catch on immediately. After all, they only knew Bella as the dragon Chase rode in rumors, but they had not seen Bella's dragon form.

Dan Heng seemed to remember something and couldn't help but look at Bella a few more times, then fell into contemplation.

A dragon...?

After Dan Heng mentioned it, Stella and March 7th suddenly realized, nodding in agreement and showing appreciative expressions.

Indeed, flying on a dragon would save them from forcefully entering the Iron Guard Restricted Zone and facing those Corridor of Fading Echoes monsters, saving them a lot of trouble.

Moreover, flying was faster than running, saving a considerable amount of time.

After all, they hadn't received any news from Bronya since she entered the Castle. It was crucial to solve the [Stellaron] issue as soon as possible and then rescue her.

If the [Stellaron] wasn't resolved, it would inevitably lead to more troubles, affecting their peace of mind.

Finally, only Serval was left, feeling puzzled and confused. What's this feeling of being an outsider? Even though I am indeed an outsider...

"No time to waste. Let's go. Solve the [Stellaron] issue as soon as possible," Chase said, leading everyone to the door. However, before they could open the door, knocking sounds came from outside.

He stopped, and like everyone else, shifted his gaze to Serval.

Serval, upon hearing the knocking, became somewhat flustered. "Oh no! I forgot my little brother said he'd come today..."

"Do you have confidence in persuading him?" Chase fell into silence for a moment and asked.

"My little brother is very stubborn. Without solid evidence slapped in his face, he will never question Cocolia's orders," Serval sighed.

"I understand," Chase nodded. "In that case, please, Serval, delay Gepard for a while. We'll head to the Stellaron first."

Since there was no certainty about convincing Gepard in a short time and to avoid potential chaos that might follow, they had no choice but to leave first.

After all, they had obtained the necessary information, and the next step was to fly directly to the source of the cold wave—the Stellaron—and recover it. Finally, they could rescue Bronya, who might still be held in the Castle. This journey would then come to a satisfactory conclusion.

"But..." Serval hesitated. Crossing the Iron Guard Restricted Zone was no easy task. Were they planning to force their way through?

"Don't worry. Thanks for providing the information, Serval." Chase smiled, then snapped his fingers, and the group disappeared in front of her.

Serval was startled by this mysterious technique, but she quickly regained her composure. She walked over, opened the door, and let Gepard in.

"Sister, you don't look well. What happened?" Gepard shook his head. "Nothing."

Although Serval still had some lingering fear about Chase's recent display of abilities, she tried to maintain a usual demeanor in front of Gepard.

However, after witnessing Chase's magical abilities, a glimmer of hope ignited within Serval.

Gepard was engaging in casual conversation with Serval when he suddenly heard commotion outside. Frowning slightly, his duty as a guard compelled him not to ignore it. He rushed outside, attempting to identify the source of the disturbance.

To his surprise, there was no turmoil in the central square. The residents stood there in astonishment, gazing at the sky. Confusion painted their faces.

Puzzled, Gepard couldn't help but follow their gaze. Soon, his expression mirrored that of the residents.

In the sky, a dragon soared. The dragon was predominantly deep blue, with a white outer shell. Its massive blue wings flapped, swiftly moving through the sky. The surging airflow dispersed the heavy snow, piercing into the distant snow curtain like a sharp blade, gradually disappearing.

Serval, standing next to Gepard, was also surprised. She now understood what Chase meant by not needing to travel on the ground.

Watching the dragon's diminishing figure in the sky, Serval couldn't help but smile.

Perhaps they could indeed save the current Belobog.

For now, all she could do was accompany her little brother in solving the chaos caused by their actions.
