Chapter 18: Mystical Palm Jutsu
The next day, Sasuke and the girls skipped the academy and went to the hospital. Eight genin who were planning to take the test eyed them strangely. After waiting for about 10 minutes, it was time for the test to begin.
"Hello, everyone. I am Iyashi, a medical ninja part of the medic corps. Today, we are going to test your chakra control to find out if you have the necessary skills to be a medical ninja. Please put your names in the catalog and come into the office when we call you," the man said.
The man was about to enter the office when he noticed Sasuke, Sakura, Ino, and Tenten trying to get into the line.
"Brats, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in the academy?" he asked with curiosity.
"We are not brats. We have trained our chakra control and mastered the water walking exercise. We skipped the academy because it's our dream to be medical ninjas, and we can't lose this opportunity," Sasuke said.
Iyashi was taken aback. He couldn't simply allow the young ones to do as they pleased, as it would lead to trouble with the upper management.
"Hōshō, please come here, we have an issue," he said, and an older ninja with a strange full-body uniform came.
"These kids claim that they have skipped the academy to take the test. They claim that they have already mastered the water walking exercise," Iyashi said.
Hōshō took a good look at the kids and said with a big smile, "It's nice to see that the young generation is interested in medical ninjutsu. However, your teachers will be worried. Please tell me your names so I can notify the academy that you are here."
The group gave him all the necessary information, and he turned to Iyashi and said, "Ayashi, please send Ugai to inform the academy."
Ayashi nodded, and the group went to the end of the row. It took about 40 minutes of waiting until it was Sasuke's turn. From the whole genin group, only one had the qualifications to be a medical ninja.

'Uchiha Sasuke' Iyashi called.
Sasuke entered the hall and nodded at Hōshō and Iyashi. This hall was huge and had several exercise equipment and it even had a swimming pool. It seemed like this was a kind of recovery room.
"Uchiha Sasuke, I hope that your group can give us a surprise. This batch of genin was not satisfying," Hōshō said.
"Don't worry about it," Sasuke said with confidence.
Iyashi explained the first test to Sasuke.
"The purpose of the exercise is to check the chakra control in your fingers. The fingers are the most valuable body part of a medical ninja. I will throw you this marble, and you will use the finger that I call to keep it stable. After that, you will throw the marble at this target using only the finger."
It was a piece of cake for Sasuke, and he easily passed.
"The purpose of the second exercise is to check how well you can multitask. You will use your good hand to copy the following text, and you will repeat the first exercise with your other hand."
As expected, this level of multitasking wasn't even considered multitasking to Sasuke.
"The third and final exercise will test your endurance. You will wear a vest of 20 extra kg, and you will have to perform the water walking exercise for 10 minutes."
Sasuke had a small smile in his face and passed with flying colors.
The two ninjas told him to wait for the rest of the group because if more passed, they would need to make special arrangements for them.

Tenten passed easily, and this was one of the happiest days of her life. She wanted to kiss Sasuke and thank him so much but she held herself back because of Ino.
After their daily kissing sessions, Tenten has accepted her love for Sasuke. However, now that she was accepted as a medical ninja thanks to him, she couldn't describe her feelings any more.
On the other hand, Ino was a little worried for the final test, but Sasuke and Tenten encouraged her.
Sakura came out, having successfully passed the test. She found the last one a bit challenging, but owing to Sasuke's guidance, she could already perform water-walking for an hour without any issues. The additional weight for 10 minutes didn't pose a significant challenge.
After a few minutes, Ino also passed the test but barely. She was exhausted carrying the extra weight. She had the necessary chakra control, but she never took her physical training seriously.

'This is one of the most surprising days in my career at medic corps. These children are prodigies. Please go and inform the Hokage. We need to create a special training plan for them considering that they are still academy students,' Hōshō said.
Iyashi nodded and immediately went to the Hokage.

The group was waiting for 50 minutes already, but the girls were still excited for their achievement. They all hugged Sasuke and thanked him several times already.
"That's the least that I can do for my future wives," Sasuke finally said.
Sakura and Ino were completely blushed but still gave a strangle look towards Tenten.
On the other hand, Tenten was the most surprised.
"Finally, he admitted that he also wants me as a wife," she thought happily.
Suddenly a voice interrupted the group.
"Sasuke, you keep surprising me with your achievements. Iruka told me about you answering the questions which were meant for the chunnin exams and now you and your friends are all medical prodigies." Hiruzen said. However, unknowing to the group, Hiruzen had overheard their conversation and his thoughts were on other things.
'Hehehehe. This boy is really a natural womanizer. He reminds me so much of Tobirama-sensei. He has already found 3 out of 4 kunoichi to restore his clan. My student will be extremely interested in him.' Hiruzen thought.
"Hokage-sama," said the whole group while getting up.
"Relax, I am here to congratulate you. Ino, Sakura, and Tenten, you are the most promising group of kunoichi that the village had produced in the last years. You are the future of our village. Keep working hard , I am very proud of you."
The 3 girls were completely excited and all said, "Thank you, Hokage-sama."
"Now since all of you are academy students, you can't follow the normal training in the hospital. I have already arranged extra lessons for you in the academy with Hōshō. Later today I will also talk with your academy teachers, and tomorrow you and your parents will get notified about the new schedule."
Hokage was really busy and quickly said his goodbyes and left.
After that, Hōshō, who was now Hōshō-sensei, gave them a little summary about their training.
The training includes learning about herbs, medicine, human anatomy, and poisons. However the main focus would be the Mystical Palm jutsu, which is the core technique in medical ninjutsu.
Mystical Palm jutsu is a technique that accelerates the body's natural healing ability.
The main reason that chakra control is so important in becoming a medical ninja is because of Mystical Palm jutsu. The user must use the correct amount of chakra according to the injury. If the user uses too much chakra, it can disrupt the body's circulation, putting it into a comatose state.

Everything went according to plan.
Sasuke had read the description of Mystical Palm jutsu in the Uchiha library. He considered it the perfect technique because it has the potential to boost both his physical training and his chakra control.
'When we learn the mystical palm jutsu, I can abuse the weights and push my body over my limits. Then I will make the girls cast it on me several times daily in order to accelerate my healing factor. My training will be boosted several times.'
This was Sasuke's original plan. The fact that Tenten's dream was to be a medical nin and the fact that he earned the girls' appreciation were just an extra happy coincidence.
