Chapter 19: Closeness
Catherine Suzaku was breathing so hard that her face turned red and her eyes were about to close.
After a minute of resisting her sleepiness, she passed out.
Catherine Suzaku fell due to weariness.
Meanwhile, Kaiser Kurogane looks at her, fatigued because he didn't use his cheat to battle her.
He just used his trick to restore his mana to full capacity once and did not use it again against her.
At this point, he recognized how powerful the world's main characters would be without his cheat.
He opted to bring her to the doctor after realizing she couldn't go any further.
Meanwhile, Eva N. Gelion noticed them departing the room.
She only looked at them, no emotions on her face; however, her opponent, June Han, sensed some danger around her and promptly cast a shield spell as an emergency measure.
As expected, Eva N. Gelion launched two elemental assaults on him, each with a large amount of mana.
The mana input is about equivalent to an intermediate attack.
When Eva N. Gelion realized what she had done, she instantly apologized to him.
June Han forgave her and stated that he does not mind at all.
After all, he might lose control if he saw the person he adores on someone else's shoulders.

After a while, Catherine Suzaku awakens.
Her head hurts a little, so she holds it but quickly realizes she is not alone in the room.
Kaiser Kurogane is right next to him.
She has numerous questions, yet her lips move as she asks, "What happened to me?"
Kaiser Kurogane chose to recount what happened because she couldn't remember it.
Hearing about the incident brought up memories for her.
Unfortunately, this isn't pleasant, and her head aches again.
Kaiser Kurogane informed her that she needed to take a break for the day and apologized for not considering her health following their sparring.
She also apologized for being determined to defeat him no matter what and stated that they are the same.
When they hear each other, they simply laugh.
After a few brief conversations, he returned to room 103.
The doctor stated she would look after her and that he needed to go back right away.
They said goodbye one more time before he closed the door.
Catherine Suzaku bursts out laughing when she remembers their earlier argument.
She compares them to children who dislike losing and are extremely competitive with one another.
Then she realized she saw him as a rival, a competitor in terms of strength.
She's not sure why, but realizing this brings them closer.
She smiled as she thought about what had transpired and decided to rest so that she could battle him again tomorrow.

"Hey, Kevin, is that really needed? The instructor stated that this is not a fight, so—"
Andrew Han is reprimanding Kevin Su for knocking down his partner.
It would be fine if it was just a knockdown, but he cut his partner's hands.
Fortunately, Eva N. Gelion is also a healer because she is a dual caster who can use water magic to heal, so she attaches the female mob's hand.

He assumed that something had happened, but before he could question, Alice Lu remarked, "Kaiser Kurogane. You will collaborate with Kevin Su for the final part of our program today."
