Chapter 44: Chapter 44 Stick To Your Face And Make A Big Deal?

Listening to the gentle breaths emanating from beneath the quilt intermittently, Ron felt a deep sense of heartbreak. With a hopeful "Hula," he lifted the quilt, revealing a plump and delicate figure before his eyes.

A sudden snap echoed as Ron lay on the bed, slapping his face in disbelief. "Why aren't you wearing clothes?" he questioned, only to glance down and feel immediate relief.

Examining the scene, he noticed no signs of a struggle, no dampness on the sheets, and no traces of Bloodline. It appeared he hadn't made a mistake the previous night.

Feeling the coolness, Yoruichi nestled back into Ron's arms, a smile playing on his golden pupils. "What~" he teased. "Are you shy now?"

"I'm not, I didn't, don't talk nonsense..." Ron denied vehemently, shaking his head.

Yoruichi's smile deepened, and he playfully continued, "Tch, I don't know who raided the child's granary last night, swiped the rice bowl, and was just a step away from devouring..."

Ron:"!!!"

Perplexed, Ron wondered why his memory failed to recall this.

"Okay, I won't tease you anymore. The two little ones should have prepared breakfast by now." Yoruichi left Ron's embrace, stood up, and stretched comfortably.

After a moment, Ron had a full view of Yoruichi's stunning figure. With a resounding "bang," the ebony-skinned sister transformed into a black cat and strutted out of the room confidently.

"Get up and eat," Ron said with a smile. However, as he dressed and left the bed, a strange power surged through his body. And that wasn't the only thing.

a faint dragon's aura seemed to emanate from him. Ron could sense the increased strength and resilience that came with the merged dragon physique. It was as if the essence of a dragon had become a part of him.

Curious, Ron inspected himself and discovered a subtle yet significant change. His skin had a faint golden hue, and when he focused, he could feel an invisible layer of energy enveloping his body.

"Interesting," Ron murmured to himself, intrigued by the newfound abilities. He had acquired various powers from the guests of the tavern, each bringing a unique flavor to his own capabilities. The Wanjie Tavern had become a nexus for extraordinary encounters, and Ron was starting to embrace the diverse influences.

As he made his way to the common area, he encountered Rem and Ram, who were busy preparing breakfast. They greeted him with a smile.

"Good morning, Master. Did you sleep well?" Rem asked.

Ron nodded. "Yeah, pretty well. How about you two?"

"We had a peaceful night," Ram replied.

Ron decided not to share the peculiar dreams and events that unfolded during the night. After all, the mysteries of the Wanjie Tavern were meant to be enjoyed, not dissected.

Breakfast was a lively affair. The aroma of food filled the air as Rem and Ram served a variety of dishes. The atmosphere was pleasant, with Yoruichi in her cat form lazing around the table, and Ron savoring the culinary delights..

He had successfully integrated the dragon's physique, gaining not only enhanced physical strength but also access to magical powers. The Wanjie Tavern continued to be a source of surprises and opportunities, making Ron eager to see what other incredible abilities and stories awaited him.

After breakfast, Ron perused the newspapers that had just arrived at the bar.

[Yesterday, the Marine swordman team severely injured the Minister of Fresh Cream from the BIG MOM Pirates. The World Government claims no responsibility for the incident.]

[Revelation: 'Kujaku,' a member of the sword team, is actually the granddaughter of Marine Staff Officer Tsuru!]

[Breaking news: Beasts Pirates and Red Hair Pirates to clash in the New World in five days!]

Ron focused on the article about Kujaku, a person with the ability to control a whip through Devil Fruit powers. Examining the photos, he observed a girl adorned in a justice cloak, her dark red tight-fitting dress accentuating her alluring figure as she wielded a whip with a regal air.

"Do you fancy this kind of young girl?" Lucoa asked with a smile, glancing at the newspaper.

"Still too young?" Ron responded, momentarily surprised, then looked up instinctively.

Indeed, compared to himself, she was a young girl—a budding flower just about to bloom.

At that moment, the tavern's door burst open. Drago's body was hurled in, crashing straight into the bar. Lucoa, irritated, conjured a purple magic circle.

Boom!

Drago collided with the magic circle, grimacing in pain, "Old man, what a punch!" He had just been struck by Shendu's formidable strength.

Even the gravitational magic from the Moon Demon only managed to slow down the flight of the small devil dragon.

"Hmph, consider it the price for interrupting my trumpet practice," Shendu entered with a stern expression.

"Trumpet?" Drago stood up, sneering, "I doubt the protein in your body would make any difference."

The two of them were poised for a confrontation, refusing to let the matter slide.

" What would you two like to drink?" Lucoa leaned on the bar, smiling as he turned to address the father and son.

Suddenly, a peculiar, lazy voice reached their ears. Shendu and the little devil dragon turned to look at the same time. The four eyes locked in a brief moment, and both backs were drenched in cold sweat, a sense of impending collapse lingering.

Dreadful...

Appalling..

If facing Yoruichi in battle was deemed a certain loss, the woman before them rendered Shendu and the devil little dragon devoid of any inclination to fight.

Instantly, Shendu smacked Drago's head and bowed ninety degrees. "We were rash earlier. We hope you won't hold it against us."

If the woman was dissatisfied, Shendu would willingly break his own and Drago's legs without hesitation. After all, life took precedence.

"Don't get worked up. I'm just a waiter in this tavern. Please, have a seat," Lucoa said with a smile as he rose slowly.

The pupils of Shendu and Drago contracted suddenly. These formidable beings were merely tavern waiters. How powerful, then was Ron?

Simultaneously, Shendu felt a surge of relief. Luckily, he hadn't caused trouble on his first visit to the tavern. Otherwise, Drago would be wearing mourning clothes today, grieving for his demise from an overdose.
