Chapter 2: Mangekyou Sharingan:Kyoka Suigetsu
Uchiha Itachi was currently kneeling in front of the third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Sarutobi: "So have you finally decided?"
Itachi, wearing an Anbu mask, responded: "Yes, but Sasuke...."
Sarutobi spoke in a warm tone, "As the third Hokage, I promise you that I will take care of your younger brother."
Itachi: "Thank you, Lord Third."
After speaking this, Itachi left using a Body Flicker technique. In the outskirts of Konoha,
"You are finally here; I was already getting impatient," a man wearing a curled mask spoke to Itachi, who had just appeared. This was Obito, who was waiting for Itachi to come; they had previously decided to join together to kill the entire Uchiha clan.
Itachi: "You are in charge of killing the police department and the young and weak. I will take care of the rest."
Obito said in a mocking tone, "Itachi, you are still so soft on the inside." But Itachi didn't say anything, and both of them left towards the Uchiha territory.
Uchiha Obito headed towards the police department, and Itachi left towards the house of the patriarch.
Uchiha Obito had just reached the Uchiha police department, but he saw a young man wearing a tight black suit holding a shiny yet ordinary sword, standing on the stairs.
Obito glanced at the sword involuntarily and then headed straight toward this person.
Suddenly, many kunai came from all directions and hit Obito, but all of them passed through his body. Obito stopped and looked around, only to see nearly thirty Uchiha clan members surrounding him. One of the Uchiha clan members named Kuro spoke,
Kuro: "Uchiha Kai was correct; someone actually dared to come to our clan at this hour and is actually trying to kill us."
Others surrounding Obito nodded in agreement. Kai had already informed every clan member in the rebellious faction about the night of genocide. Unlike the original story, this time, everyone was prepared and ready for battle. Seeing this scene, Uchiha Obito wasn't afraid at all. He spoke to Kai,
Obito: "You should be Uchiha Kai. Itachi had warned me to look out for you, but I never expected you to be aware of our attack. Did Itachi betray me?"
Kai: "Itachi hasn't betrayed you. He is currently on his way to kill the patriarch," Uchiha Kai spoke with a relaxed tone. Seeing this, Obito was a little confused and asked,
Obito: "So what are you guys doing here instead of saving the patriarch?"
Uchiha Kai spoke in a sinister tone: "Uchiha Fugaku is a complete failure, both as a father and a patriarch. The main reason for the current state of our clan is because of his passive stance. So it's better for such a useless patriarch to die at his own son's hand."
After saying this, Uchiha Kai rushed towards Obito, but Obito was unbothered and stood right there. The sword in Uchiha Kai's hand slashed towards him, but it passed right through him. Obito said proudly,
"I am Uchiha Madara. Do you really think you can hurt me with just relying on your numbers?"
After that, he was ready to make a move, solidified himself, and punched directly at Kai, who had just attacked. Uchiha Kai flew away with the force of that attack. Obito said proudly,
"I expected a little more from the current genius of the Uchiha clan."
But suddenly, he realized something. During this time, none of the Uchiha clan members surrounding him made a move at all. Just when he was wondering what is going on, he heard something,
Kai: "Break, Kyoka Suigetsu."
Suddenly, the scene before Obito broke into pieces, and he saw Uchiha Kai standing before him unharmed. However, he also felt a terrifying amount of pain coming from his body. Obito soon realized that his left arm was completely chopped off. He was utterly terrified, not understanding what happened, and the most terrifying thing was he didn't feel the slightest pain until the illusion was broken.
He looked at Uchiha Kai, who was standing there with Mangekyo Sharingan in his eyes. His Mangekyo Sharingan had a cross pattern in the red eyeballs. Obito soon understood what was going on. He thought this was due to the ability of the Mangekyo Sharingan that Uchiha Kai possessed.
Obito, with a pained voice: "A Mangekyo Sharingan that can create such strong illusions! Truly impressive."
Obito was still trying to maintain the image of Uchiha Madara in front of everyone. So Uchiha Kai responded,
"This is my Mangekyo Sharingan, named Kyoka Suigetsu."
Every Uchiha present was truly surprised. They finally had some hope to resist the suppression of the village. But only Uchiha Kai knew that he didn't have a Mangekyo Sharingan; what everyone saw was just an illusion created by the Kyoka Suigetsu. This would divert everyone's attention from the Zanpakuto and make everyone think the illusion was caused by the Mangekyo Sharingan. Also, possessing a Mangekyo Sharingan would make his voice stronger in the clan and make it easier for him to take control of the entire Uchiha clan.
Obito: "How exactly did you bypass my Kamui?"
This was the question lingering in his mind. It should be impossible for anything to attack him, so how could Uchiha Kai hurt him? But everyone present knew exactly what had happened. They saw Uchiha Kai slowly walking to Obito, and they saw Obito randomly punching the air. After saying this, he rushed again, and this time Obito was more cautious. He summoned a white Zetsu, cut off its arm, and put it in his broken arm, making a jutsu to release the genjutsu. Then he also directly headed towards Kai. Uchiha Obito used various ninjutsu and kept on fighting. He was also cautious about the Genjutsu and didn't look at the eye of Uchiha Kai.

Uchiha Kai: "No, I have other arrangements for him. If you look outside, you will know that our Uchiha clan is now surrounded by the Root ninjas. So I will make this so-called Uchiha Madara fight against all those Root ninjas."
