Chapter 31: Pyke's Offer
"Why don't you sit first" Pyke gestured him to sit down , Robert put on a cold look at Pyke as he sat down.
"why don't you help yourself first , as you see they are alot of dishes" Pyke pointed towards the expensive and mouthwatering, dishes and cuisines , Robert looked at the dishes in front him as it was mouthwatering and tempting, but Robert wasn't stupid , while would someone treat me to such an expensive meal without wanting something from me
" how do you know me" Robert questions Pyke with a serious face
"I knew you would ask , well l guess this belongs to you" Pyke shows him his student card and Robert became suprised at how he got into his hands
"How did you get that" Robert questions him coldly
"Well let's say you dropped it at the mall" Pyke's lip curves with into a smirk
*Shit , l remember l misplaced it after defeating the terrorist leader" Robert remembered and he wasn't happy about someone knowing his identity.
"So what do you want from me, you can't treat me to such a meal with no reason" Robert looks directly at Pyke as he asked
"Well if l had not picked up this your student identity card , it would have gotten into the police hands and if they find out who you were the masked man , what do you think will happen" Pyke asked him and Robert gave a thought.
" You mean the free federation will come after me and multiple fractions and organizations will surely come for me and my ability , thus not only putting me in danger but my family too" Robert said to him briefly
"You are really intelligent and you understand the situation" Pyke said with a smile
"Okay stop beating around the bush and go straight to the point, if not you have sold me out a long time" Robert spoke seriously
"Since you don't like taking things long ,first of all how did you get such a terrifying ability and strength" Pyke asked Robert with interest
"How l got my abilities is none of your business" Robert told him
"Okay then let me go straight to the point , as a young master of the Brandon family , my goal is my family status more powerful and Influential and having strong allies, so after l knew who you were , l couldn't just give your information out to the police because the free federation who want to exploit your abilities , so l thought wouldn't it be best if kept it to myself and find you.
So l thought if you would love to join the Brandon family" Pyke asked him with smile
"Nope am interested in joining the Brandon family nor working for you" Robert declined the offer and got up to leave then Pyke spoke up
"I guess you think more about your family's safety" Pyke told him
"So you are threatening with my family , how Smart of you" Robert turned at Pyke coldly and he summoned his blade which came out the spartial ring he wore on his finger , he unseathed his sword and dashed at Pyke in an instant as his blade was already at Pyke's neck
"Do you think l can't kill you here right now" Robert said menacingly
"That's was fast , killing me won't solve anything , l won't harm your family but if the information gets out people might come for you " Pyke said with a smirk on his face as the two glared into each other's eyes , they was no hint of fear in Pyke's eyes as the blade was so close to his neck and Robert immediately withdrew his sword and it disappeared back into the spartial ring.
"I can form an alliance with your family but not joining them , and l can be your partner" Robert proposed to Pyke
" You really care about your family and you are a tough one also , well l won't push you further , l accept" Pyke agreed to it
"Also when ever my family or me is trouble you will be willing to help and you can't refuse" Robert said with a smirk
"Ah what wise kid" Pyke thought
"Well l agree , but you will also help my family in facing off any enemies and you would be willing to help me in my missions if l need your help and you can't refuse" Pyke said his terms
"His not an easy one" Robert said in his head
"So it's settled" they both said and shook hands as they smiled at each other , thus an alliance had been formed between a cultivator and a special ops ,Robert was about leaving he suddenly remembered the dishes
"em could l have those dishes packaged" Robert asked Pyke with a smile
"Yeah sure of course , you can have the wine too" Pyke told him
"Oh really thanks " Robert thanks him as hell on he wasn't going without taking the dishes which were really expensive, and Pyke sends a message through the restaurant Al system and ordered a waiter to come to room 019 to package the dishes and in no time a waiter came the room and he began to package the dishes and packaged dishes filled two large nylon backs and Robert carried it with little effort
"Robert ,my man here will take you back home" Pyke pointed to the man that had brought him early
"Alright no problem , l think l should we should get going now as my mum would be worried about me" Robert told Pyke and he bid Robert goodbye, Robert and the man hurried out of the room and Pyke stayed behind in the room
"This kid isn't half bad , his a tough one with special abilities , with him now the Brandon family will rise higher" Pyke smiled.
The man drove Robert back home immediately Robert came down from the car the man immediately zoomed off , Robert didn't even have a chance to say thank you as he was terrified.
When Robert entered the house , this parents were shocked and surprised at the two huge nylon bags Robert held , on bringing out the packaged dishes out of the bags his parents and brothers were suprised .
"Robert where did you get all this food from" his mum asked while be skeptical
"Well a Friend took me for a meal at the five stars restaurant" Robert said sincerely
"What , did l hear you right Robert , you mean the expensive five star restaurants" his father asks him in suprise.
"Yeah of course" Robert answered his questions
"Are damn serious , you mean a friend of yours treated you to a meal at the five star restaurant " his dad didn't believe him
"Well see for yourself if l am lying" Robert gesture his dad to take a look at the food , his dad on checking the dishes , he's eye's immediately wided with shock
"Oh my God , his speaking the truth it's the five stars restaurant restaurant , all of this dish are really expensive" his dad said in suprise as he kept checking dishes
"Robert when did you become friends with a wealthy person" his mum asked him in disbelief
"Well mum it's really a long story" he sratched his head as he smiled at her and his father suddenly shouted in happiness
"Wow l can't believe it's the voldark whiskey wine , this wine is really expensive with a price tag of 10,000 dollars, l didn't expect l would be able to drink such an expensive wine"
That night the family had a mouthwatering and delicious meal .
