The Cannons On Both Sides Of The World Start To Zoom In Like A Camera's Lens. Then They Start Spinning Faster And Faster. Some Kind Of Black Gooey Energy Starts Swirling Around Them. The Room Is Getting Louder And Louder. Everyone Took A Step Back In Fright. It's Not Like Regular Noise. It's More Like Pouring Something Directly In Our Head.
"Ah, I'm Sorry For The Inconvenience But We Weren't Able To Completely Filter Out The Noise From Colliding Particles. It's Not Harmful So Please Rest Assured." Dr. Otto Said Without Turning Around. He Had His Hands Completely Surrounding The White Space. As If He Was Waiting For Something.
Just When It Seemed The Energy Was About To Go Out Of Control, He Pushed One Of His Mechanical Hands Forward. It Held A Medium-Sized Glass Crystal.
" This Shard Is Made Of Pure Transparent Adamantium, The Perfect Vessel Strong Enough To Contain This Wild Energy. This Metal Was Artificially Created By Alcamax. Mr. Fisk Was A Lifesaver To Offer Me This In My Search For A Suitable Container. It's Just A Pity He Couldn't Witness This Historical Moment." Even While Saying All Of This Dr. Otto's Body Was Completely Still. It's As If He Couldn't See Anything Other Than What Was In Front Of Him.
After He Placed The Crystal In The Center, The Energy From The Cannons Started To Shift. Strand By Strand, The Murky Energy Started To Cling On To The Sherd. It Was Like A Living Creature. It Was Disgusting. The Glass Sherd Was Somehow Attracting The Energy Into Itself.
But My Eyes Were Practically Sparkling. It's Not Everyday You See Actual Dimensional Energy With Your Naked Eye. While Everyone Including Harry Was Moving Away, I Moved As Close To The Safe Line As Possible. This Is A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Even Though I Somewhat Understand The Tech, Applying It Is Entirely Something Else. This Shows Just How Much More I Can Learn.
When The Crystal Is Completely Black, The Swirling Of Energy Starts To Subside Rapidly. Dr. Otto Took The Crystal Out Of The White Space And Turned Around.
He Held The Now Pitch Black Glass Sherd High And Said,
"This Is It, Ladies And Gentlemen." He Lowers His Mechanical Hand And Says, " The Power Of The Universe, In The Palm Of My Hands."
Everyone Starts Cheering And Clapping. I'm Doing The Same Too. But Just Then I See Something Unusual In My Periphery. I Turn My Head To Get A Good Look At It. And After I Saw It I Couldn't Believe My Eyes. The Panel In The Corner Was… Glitching. Not Just The Screen, No. The Entire Thing Was Constantly Glitching In A Colorful Hue.
Gradually More And More Things Started Glitching And The Others Started To Notice Too. Everybody Started To Panic. Dr. Otto Tries To Calm Everyone Down.
"Do Not Worry. This Is Just The Effects Of The Residual Dimensional Energy. It's Only Temporary. Things Will Be Normal Soon." Just Then, A Shout Came From Behind. It Was Dr. Otto's Assistant.
The Canons Were Out Of Control. The Energy That Faded Away Started To Swirl Once More. But This Time, Instead Of Just Spinning Around The Cannon Surface, They Started To Clash Violently. It Was Like Seeing Two Violent Beasts Fighting Each Other.
More And More Things Started To Glitch And The Whole Building Started Shaking.
People Were Shouting At This Point. Norman Osborne Yelled At Otto To Shut The Machine Down But Dr. Otto Refused.
"No. It's Still Fine. I Can Fix This."
"I Give The Money To You. I Have To Decide..Ugh." Norman Couldn't Finish His Sentence. A Bulb With Shade Fell Directly On His Head And He Fainted.
"Daad!" Harry Ran Towards Him And I Followed After.
Just Then I Saw Otto's Wife, Rosie. She Was Standing Too Close To The Machine Trying To Persuade Her Husband To Shut It Down. There Was A Massive Whip Of Jet Black Energy About To Hit Her.
"Ms. Rosie! Look Out." Fortunately, Dr. Otto Moves Her Out Of The Way And Gets Hit Instead. It Seems He Blocked The Blow With His Mechanical Arms. But In The Process, The Glass Sherd Slips Out.
I Swiftly Grabbed It As I Was Near It. I Was Going To Give It To Dr. Otto When Something Unexpected Happened. Instead Of Following The Natural Trajectory, The Energy Whip Comes Towards Me And Wraps Around Me. And Before I Can Even Open My Mouth, It Pulls Me Towards The Center Of It All, The White Space.

I Slowly Open My Eyes. My Whole Body Is Aching. Not To Mention My Throbbing Head.
'But Where Did I Even Sleep Last Night? The Bed Is Super Hard.'
I Groan As I Try To Sit Up. "Why Does It Hurt So Much?" I Check To See If Anything Is Wrong But Everything Looks Just Fine. Not Even A Scratch. Still, I Feel So Weak. As If Someone Grinded My Whole Body. "Ow!" Ok, Not Totally Fine. My Head Is Swollen And There's Even Some Dried Blood. Oh, And I T Seems I Was Sleeping On A Sidewalk. People Are Passing By And Giving Me Weird Looks.
"I Don't Even Know Where I Am." I Look Around And Say, Everything Seems Familiar Yet… Not The Same. How Do I Say This, It's Close To A Deja Vu, But Not Exactly A Deja Vu.
Anyway, I Won't Get Anywhere By Just Sitting Here. So I Get Up With Some Effort And Start Walking. It Was Like The Usual Nightlife Of New York. Huh, Maybe This Is New York. I Ask A Passerby for Directions To The Nearest Police Station. Fortunately, It's Close. Even If I Know Which Direction My House Is, I Don't Have The Confidence To Find It In This Situation. Not To Mention, My Body Won't Make It.
While I was walking, I saw a Lot Of People Standing Before A Billboard. I Look Out Of Curiosity And What I See Makes Me Petrified.
"We Interrupt This Broadcast For A Special Report. Sad News Tonight." The Voice Of The Reporter Breaks At This Point. "The Hero Known As Spiderman Has Died Tonight Due To Injuries From Another Powerful Earthquake."
"Multiple Sources Confirm That Peter Parker, A Twenty-Six Year Old Grad Student, Operated As Spiderman."
